Politics / Re: NNPC Confirms Increase In Pump Price Of Fuel, Releases Statement by hadex90(m): 5:54pm On May 31, 2023
priceactionx:
so pe otilo
I learnt that this is how many of these fuel cabals operate to cheat the government. Some get access to oil blocks ( but cant refine the crude oils) so they ship it and sell it to their cronies that have a lot of stakes in modular refineries abroad, in which they import it back to nigeria at a subsidized rates being paid by the government. So virtually carrying nigerian crude oil abroad to refine, and sell it far higher than even the supposed money without the subsidy, yet come back, claim subsidies, making monies in multiple ways, claiming they are multi billionaire , forbes this, forbes that. If you look well, they are same people behind all these forex and dollar manipulations.
My fear is that until i see this new government encouraging and commisioning modular refineries after maximum, let's say, 2 years of this price adjustments in each region, and selling crude oil at local price in naira directly , simuteneoulsy, to the operators, things may be getting worse. If i remember, Tinubu said he would waive a lot of taxes for investors that want to be part of oil industry revolutions, so that they get waivers to subsidize the price and improve employments to the citizen if elected, ( cos he himself is an oil expert and know much of the industry) BUT CAN WE Really TRUST POLITICIANS in nigeria? Will they allow him to work?

Do we, nigerians have that patience? DONT WE, as a citizens like cutting corners just look at how filling stations sky rockets their prices overnights over the stock they have at hand? Drop gas price by 10 naira and you will hear them saying they have never seen any official letters. It will take them 2 months to adjust.
Same thing should be aplicable to all other sectors especially agricultural sector, region by region ,which i also believe that shetimma is also an expert in that sector and can handle that. Revolutionise and encourage mechanized farming and let the price of basic food fall and avoidable.
I dont know if it is practicable or possible. i just dont know.
what you wrote here is the simple fact. What the government should have done is to repair our local refineries even before thinking of removing subsidy (infact subsidy will automatically remove). The government knows the truth but they are just not ready for the masses to pull out of poverty.

But are Nigerians this Naive?
I will fight corruption promise failed
Whistle blower policy failed
Abacha loot recovered and relooted
The question remains who are those benefitting from corruption? The same people that wants to fight it.
Who are those benefitting from Subsidy? Same people that want to remove it.

At this point it would be foolish of me to keep on being pained for our stolen mandate. While I'm putting my pain aside and hoping our mandate is restored soon, I'm so hoping and praying his presidency brings unprecedented progress, prosperity, favour, equality, opportunities, improvement in healthcare, security of lives and properties and many more...

I also hope he doesn't appoint people that would jeopardize his government; that's where it all usually goes wrong...

So Mr President, take off your shirt cause you are about to sweat for the work you about to start doing.

Nigeria is like a piece of farmland that has not been cultivated for so long, so in order to bring the crops to life twice ten times as work is needed. That's why we needed physically fit candidate..

[quote author=Obinoscopy post=123465598]Good development. However more needs to be done. Tinubu has to ensure that the local refineries are working and also have to commence the cushioning effect asap. If he delays then he just succeeded in signing his political death warant as he would become unpopular. [Actually making the local refineries effective should have been his first course of action. The same way Buhari closed border without making sure Nigeria can feed itself first. Una go hear am soon.]

The only thing I can learn from Tinubu presidency is proper planning. Not grace but planning brought him the presidency. The presidency was his plan all along, he was busy putting people in place and building relationship that matters, including bribing those that needs to be bribed. Don't misuse the word grace bro.

I am fully Obidient but from the look of things, the chance of the best candidate is very slim. Nigeria is not ready for liberty, the poor people are still very much ready to vote in their opressors. Nigerian youths need to ask question, stage a protest. We need to be united now more than ever. Please let's forget tribalism or religious differences, we are Nigerian before we become Yoruba or Igbo or Hausa. Divide and rule is their game, let's best them at their game. The power we hold when we are united is great, they know these that's why they don't want us to see it. EndSars was a freestyle, let's take back our country. I have done my PVC. But, I won't vote. Election in Nigeria isn't by voting, it's by selection.

Their selected candidate must win. no matter the vote.

*HOW ELECTION IS RIGGED!!!*

One of The biggest problems we have are those of you who think that whether or not they vote, the election will be rigged. Those who think our votes don’t count.
Yesterday, someone told me “Baba voting no go solve anything, our votes no Dey count, person wey go win go win”…. That’s a lie, a big lie from the pit of hell.
Our votes Dey count, and person wey go win fit no win if we no vote.

Rigging is not as easy as we make it seem, it’s a game of numbers… permutations and combinations for those that know maths.

Ok lemme explain it in clearer ways.
Let’s say a particular polling unit has 800 registered voters; on Election Day, 800 ballot papers will be sent to that polling unit because it is expected that 800 people will show up to vote.

Now if on the day of the election, only 150 people come out to vote, and out of the 150, 127 people vote for LP and and 20 people for PDP then 3 people vote for APGA, it means there will be about 650 ballot papers unused.

When rigging starts, one person can sit one place and thumbprint the remaining 650 ballot papers in favour of APC and when the result is announced, APC will emerge the winner of that particular polling unit.
That is how Rigging is done.

But imagine If this same polling unit with 800 registered voters have 750 people who came out to vote, and 650 vote LP, 71 people vote PDP and 29 People vote APGA, when APC wants to rig the election, they will have only 50 ballot papers to work with and even if the thumbprint all 50 in favour of APC, the outcome of the election will not be affected.

That is how rigging works.

Truth is whether you decide to vote or not, a decision will be taken for you, and a vote will be cast in your name. And chances are that it will be in favour of someone who will enslave you and keep you in Pepertual suffering.
So why not get your PVC and come out to vote, at least you’ll be sure that the vote casted in your name was in favour of someone you would have Chosen.

Nigeria is on the brink of wreakage, and 2023 is our chance at getting it right. If we miss it in 2023, our next chance will be in 2031 and I’m not sure we can afford that.

*So, I beg you in the name of whatever you hold sacred. GET YOUR PVC AND GET READY TO COME AND VOTE!!!*..

Please do well by sharing this post thank you
