Christianity Etc › Re: Has Mr. Seun Osewa Gone To Church Before by hahn(m): 4:53pm On Nov 07, 2016
Seun:
False. I will teach them critical thinking, but I won't stop them from going to church if they choose to. The most grounded atheists are those who have tried religion and consciously abandoned it because they observed its flaws closely. My kids will all become atheists eventually.

This is difficult to imagine, but it can happen if she's an atheist but not a rationalist. Such people don't believe in God but believe in astrology, mediums, homeopathy, spiritual energy, karma, the power of positive thinking, etc which are also not real. I hope to marry a rationalist.
That means no hope for Linda Ikeji tongue

Ok.
I don't know o.
In my area we eat the both leaves and the fruit. The frut can be cooked and eaten raw when its not that very matured. The seed can also be cooked, fermented and used in cooking so IBO soup (oha soup). its serves same purpose as the yoruba locust beans(Iru) or the anambra/enugu (ogiri) for making bitterleaf soup.

Cool.

Islam › Re: Share Your Unforgettable Experience(s) That Brought You Closer To Allah by hahn(m): 12:55pm On Nov 07, 2016
Antina:
When I see those with disabilities struggling and striving to meet up at the time of prayer. I first of all look at it this way and ask myself, am I better than them in any way, why did God create them this way? Yet you see them at the mosque to pray at the appropriate time, what will become of me if I die this way as complete as I am yet lagging behind those with disabilities in the cause of Allah.

Secondly, seeing those crawling on the road begging for alms, I always feel deep pain inside my heart, I put myself in their shoes. I always pray inside of me to God to ease their affairs and wonder why God created them that way and not me.
The question should be why would Allah create that way at all?

It is either it just enjoys watching people suffer or it doesn't exist.

By fire by force is the mindset of the North! l live and work where crude oil sales has not been a source of income so l can say Nigeria has not fared better with the huge income it has made from oil and gas over the decades. angry
Yeah. I kinda thought that was what you meant.

It is not about what you earn but how you spend it. And Nigerian leaders aren't frugal nor are there visionary

I believe them to a great extent, but the power of a story is in how it is told. They are highly exaggerated, to put in the God factor to make them seem special and chosen. When you read between the lines you will get a good grip of the true story and the motives behind the lies added
True. But, the stories could easily have been fabricated to hide secrets or misrepresent history

The real irony is that witches and wizards can open a nairaland a account, according to you, while your almighty god still rides on horses and cannot access the internet to save the lives of it's creations.

freeradical:
In your opinion God is an idea but its just your opinion at the end of the day. Truth however is what it is irrespective of what anyone thinks.

From your write up u believe Gods flooding of d earth was to eradicate sin but dats wrong. The earth was flooded to punish the people of the time and not to eradicate sin. The antidote to sin lies in Christ Jesus. God is not a sadist as u pointed. Even we sinful humans met out capital punishment as justice for crimes commited against d state how come I've never seen u campaigning against organized society for being genocidal?

There r two tyPES of atheist. The sincere ones who are actually lost souls that r confused and genuinely searching for salvation deep inside and then there is the second class who know d truth but r only out to deceive gullible people into disbelieving in God so that in the end their souls will be damned. The latter set are agents of Satan their father and will employ any tactic to achieve their aim. Which of these class do u belong to Mr Hahn?
Your last paragraph is just ...... undecided

If u truly believed God was imaginary u wud never have used words like incompetent, confused and sadistic to describe him.
I am only referencing to the "idea". That is what god is. An idea. And a very primitive and savage one at that.

It is

Incompetent - Destroyed earth twice because of sin but sin still exists
Confused - Check the first point
Sadistic/genocidal - Drowning, burning innocent kids for no reason

if this is the best anyone can come up with for the characteristics of "God" then it is a real shame

If I want to watch the video of a preacher, it would surely not be Benny Hinn nor Oyakhilome. Dudes are boring and showing off too much.

I would prefer the likes of Tb Joshua or Omoto fufeyin, with plenty theatrics and people massively falling, and prophecies and people shouting "Power"! "Prophesy man of God" all over the place grin

Definitely more entertaining.
The spirit is in you. You should open your own church grin
