Sessanvandy: Good evening Nairalanders, please i need your sincere opinion on this issue bothering me.
I have been dating this guy for 9 months and our relationship has been going well except for this issue.
My boyfriend or should i say fiancé ( he has introduced me to his family as the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with and my family is in support of the relationship) has been in contact with his ex-girlfriend who is married with a son.
My man spends 1-2hrs on phone with his ex girlfriend in my presence and when i confronted him, he told me to bear in mind that he can never stop talking to her because she didn't offend him and if she needs any monetary support, he won't hesitate to help.
They have no intimate relationship maybe cus of distance, He agreed not to call her but promised to take her calls when she does and she calls frequently.
Her husband also warned him to stay away from his wife but he wouldn't listen.
He is a nice guy with a good heart and we are planning introduction by December
I told him that if he can't stop communicating with his ex girlfriend the relationship is over but he still insist on maintaining contact with her... Pls am i overreacting, How do i handle this??....mature advice needed!
sorry for the long post. Chop his money and move on. There's nothing you can do about someone still in love with their ex |

This set of people, probably upcoming evangelists, will join the vehicle from the garage, to pray and preach to the passengers. They usually alight from the vehicle after some minutes to the journey.
They can be very disturbing but to avoid being tagged "demonic", everybody go just dey endure. That's how I received a call and that one was acting as if I was supposed to cut my call. I just told her to reduce her voice because I'm about to receive a call. No manners |

Elder0001: They signed prenuptial agreement.
Things like this are one of the reasons why you should get married to someone in your social class if you live in the West. If you're worth 2m and she's worth same amount or 1.8m there's no way she would be able to demand such ridiculous amount of money as spousal support or whatever. You only pay that stuff if your partner is/has been jobless, you're worth more or earn way much than her e,t,c.
When you tell them not to marry jobless women they won't hear, sad. 25 years ago when they got married Dr.Dre was already balling, I'm yet to understand why he married a jobless person. Men marry below their social class and women marry men above their class. |

Dpsychologist: 21.) SINGLE MOTHERS BREED WEAK MEN : Single mothers are ill-equipped to breed men, and overwhelmingly lack the tools necessary to give a boy the guidance he needs to reach a higher stage of male development.
Boys don’t meet their potential, they are poorly disciplined(no mental toughness) and have little sense of purpose or life direction.
Poor discipline breeds low confidence and passivity, qualities which are inherently anti-charismatic in nature and hence deleterious to a man’s romantic chances.
These are men that end of being mama's boy.
Now I finally understand that for a woman it ain't easy trying to raise a man - Tupac |

atheistandproud: Writing is a whole lot different from making a YouTube video.
A lot of resources actually go into making one. One would need a decent camera (I could trust my RN9 PRO) for this task tho, a nice table or surface, excellent lighting and lighting equipment, a tripod and a gimbal, a good mic too, some mad video editing skills and of course support.
I have seen a few people try starting up and I commend their efforts, I really do but I would not want a video of such quality (both video and sound) out there. I believe what's worth doing is worth doing right.
I trust my grasp of the English language and presentation skills but I do not trust my video shooting skills. Quite frankly, they're nowhere near my photography skills. My video editing skills are also sub par. For now it's an area I don't want to venture into till I get the hang of it.
I have hit 700 views in July and August making up a total of 1400 so I'm researching on more topics to write on in my spare time. Let me address some of your points. First of all there is a lot of fun in learning. That you don't know should not stop you from trying. You can start with your smartphone outside, something casual, but have a script, either one you are reading from or have memorized and just deliver. Trust me, the best Youtubers all started from somewhere. You also have to consider the value of the knowledge you have. I know it will seem like what you know is simple but trust me it's not. I have been following you for a while and I still don't understand anything. Partly because I'm a bit busy and only need a phone to access the internet and partly because I can't read Russian You should consider branding yourself and your hobby. This tiny thing you are doing can go BIG. Who knows maybe one day you can have your own smartphone brand and build better phones for the Nigerian market. There's no limit bro. Think about what you are doing more deeply and dream bigger every day. Get your own domain name and hosting. Get a YouTube channel. Instagram page Facebook page Twitter page Get someone to design a nice logo and favicon. Do keyword research and write on things people are searching for and educate them on things they need to know. The tech niche is super big with huge potential. Potential to enlighten people and make a lot of money at the same time. I can help you build a professional blog, at a fee of course, and also guide you through the process, at a fee course Otherwise you can also learn on your own. Depends on you really |

ValCon888: This government lacks initiative. We are talking about generating internal revenue, and they are destroying cannabis plantation. In this era of dwindling petrodollars, marijuana can become a primary forex earner. Rather than ban it, the government should seek a means to regulate it. In these challenging times, weed is one of the few things that make people happy. We are not better than the US, Canada, or the Netherlands that control weed consumption. A plant that is useful in many industries including textile, energy, and medicine.

dangerousdaddy: Good evening people. Please don't mind my English. My post is actually out of pains and frustration and i may not type with the correct words.
I'm a 31 years old guy. I'm actually very bad with spending because when i have money, whoever asks from me gets. I am under alot of pressure lately especially from those around me. I am the 1st child of my parents and have so many responsibilities.
I got my girlfriend pregnant and she moved in with me. My parents were never there for me so i vowed i was going to be there for my kids. Hence i do all i can to make sure my daughter and her mum are OK.
The girl in question is a torn in my flesh. Totally different from when we were dating without a child. Nowadays, as soon as i get my salary, she wants to buy this, she wants to buy that even though she knows i receive less than a 100k and i have multiple loans i am paying back because we moved out of our old apartment due to space constraints especially after she delivered.
Whenever i don't have money, there is never a happy moment in my home. But if i come home and bring money, we become very good friends. She wants to live a good life which is not wrong but I feel when she knows how i am managing, she ought to understand and bear with me.
The last straw that broke the camel's back was, i was yet to be paid, i had 700 with me. I gave her to make some food because we had the basic food stuff in the house.... Rice, beans, ogbono, spaghetti, garri, Egusi.... Palm oil. So basically all she had to buy was fish or something to put inside the food.
I came home after a hard day at work and met an empty kitchen. When I asked for my food, she asked me what i expected her to cook with 700 naira. I got so mad and left the house but since it was late (it was close to midnight), i decided to come back. In my anger, i started asking her why she's treating me badly. And the next thing is, she called her mum to say I'm fighting with her and that i pushed her to the ground. Her mum replied and said that if anything happens to her daughter, she would hold me responsible. That she didn't give me a wife......
Now I feel i should just end everything and let's go our separate ways before it becomes a case of domestic violence. I never want to see my child grow up to see me fighting with her mum always and being unhappy. I believe a child that grows up in an unhappy home is always at a disadvantage. Please help me guys. I am in pains.
I hope this makes front page Are you sure the pregnancy is yours? |

. I once went to a yoga teacher in Israel, who in the introductory class explained in all seriousness that yoga was invented by Abraham, and that all the basic yoga postures derive from the shape of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet! (Thus the trikonasana posture imitates the shape of the Hebrew letter aleph, tuladandasana imitates the letter daled, etc.) Abraham taught these postures to the son of one of his concubines, who went to India and taught yoga to the Indians. When I asked for some evidence, the master quoted a biblical passage: ‘And to the sons of his concubines Abraham gave gifts, and while he was still living he sent them away from his son Isaac, eastward to the east country’ (Genesis 25:6). What do you think these gifts were? So you see, even yoga was actually invented by the Jews. Hilarious You call that evidence? Your brain dey shake |
