It has nothing to do wt hw much Glo have. It's down 2 d 'market worth' of d celebrities. Hw much d'u tink they doled out to all Nollywood Artistes?
The said amount is definately outrageous, What I'm trying to say is that some of the glo ambassadors aren't any better or popular than Uti, not everyone can be a glo ambassador. Have you forgotten that 2face isn't one or is 2face not worth enough?? |
scorpion1:Best believe, Marrying is not the koko, staying married is the main koko. |
I neva believed d story. $700,000 for wat! Sorry 2 say, his status aint worth dt amt
Glo has plenty money to give abeg, what do you mean by status if someone like Ekwe is a glo ambassador ![]() ? |
slap1:and twist Bankole's big lips ba. Ugly thives |
usetime:I'll disagree with you completely on this. Having a degree goes beyond just gaining more self esteem, it comes with some specialized skills especially in science based courses. Mind you there are some skills that are believed to only be taught in the university example is structural engineering, no matter the number of years an uneducated builder spends in the business he can't put up an high-rise building without some complex calculations which can only be learnt in the four walls of a classroom. Tell me if such skills can be classified as self esteem? That doesn't mean an uneducated person can't be richer, been rich is a different thing entirely. |
I really don't see Ibori getting off the hook this time, with his wife and lawyer already nailed. I just pray he gets a sentence that is proportionate to his offense not the Cecelia Ibru type we had in Naija. |
Very Sad, Hope the club and state government does something to help his family. The NPL can also do with lots of investments in the area medical staffs and facilities, its very important as the game is accident prone. We wish his family, his colleagues and club the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. |
tunyus:He looks so irresponsible, what do you expect from an ex-police officer in Nigeria who has been stealing tax payers money all his life. |
akinnux:What are you talking about? When did INEC become NAMA? Who is suppose to be in charge of security at the airport? What is the NPF doing? Don't even call INEC at all my friend. |
I'll rather you say PDP is confused, they want to make sure GEJ remains the presidential candidate and at the same time keep the party together. I hope PDP ends up a died party after the primaries. IBB on his own part seems to be having mental disorder. |
2makesense:Your votes won't miss, just that the Micheal Jackson and Nelson Mandelas registered with the stolen machines will also vote. You can imagine how many such ghost voters will be. |
Deep Soul:The main reason will be facilitate smoother rigging in 2011, we all know the party that rigs most. I won't be surprised if PDP is behind this. |
Our problems are just too complex, the bad elements in this society will never back off. 11 years of PDP rule and security is still in a pathetic state, |
IBB is just trying to be relevant, the fall of PDP is eminent at this point. I can't wait to celebrate PDP's demise, they don't mean well for Nigeria at all. |
How did I forget Sagamite, that guy is highly unpredictable. Wish I could just meet some people one on one really. |
Think I share the same political views with folks like Jarus whose post I always like. For Beaf though, no way but I think he's always firm. Like reading post on NL whenever I'm chanced, still looking forward to the day Mr Cork will start making sense though. Abeg Mr Cork change for good before its to late. |

Honestly people like Ibori ought to be killed, there's no limit to the amount they can steal, na wa o, |
I feel they were too soft on him, his children better change their surname right now because their father just destroyed it. |
SmashingM:Best believe, She's not in the same class with Atiku at all. |
You really shouldn't have started what you can't sustain, you need to start looking else where because the moment you stop borrowing him money, the relationship is gone. The first time he came, you assisted, 2nd time same, why didn't you say no the 3rd time. Try saying no and stand by your no to see what his reaction is going to be, that might give you an insight. |
I've been looking at Rossike's arguments and wondering why you'll blame people for condemning the National Assembly members. If 25% of the total budget goes to them for making laws, what then is left for the executive arm who is suppose to implement such laws. Don't forget implementation involves more logistics. If you leave in Nigeria and see how some of these politicians throw money around, then you'll know there's something wrong. Just look at this breakdown Total population - 140,000,000 2010 proposed budget - N4.079trillion Source http://www.budgetoffice.gov.ng/budget_update/UMY%20-%202010%20BUDGET%20PRESENTATION%20SPEECH.pdf 25% of the budget - 1.01975trillion Imagine less than 0.00000000000000000001% of the total population of this country taking 25% of the budget, How will you describe that ?@Rossike, Nigerians have every right to be angry and no matter the word used to describe the National assembly members, I really think they deserve it. They are milking us dry, no development can ever happen in such situation where the cost of running a government is higher than cost of taking care of the people. |
I'm happy for our very own Ashavin, It's just normal that Russia is given an opportunity to host the world after so long. |
Fifa chooses Russia to host the football WorldCup in 2018. The Russians beat England who were considered to have the strongest bid before voting at FIFA's headquarters in Zurich. The English bid team had strong names like David Beckham, Prince Williams and even the Prime minister David Cameron in their team. The Russians are going to host their first Football world cup in 2018. In a related development Qatar has won the right to host the 2022 world cup. |
crackhouse:See guru, she for no agree if say she know say na wrong answer you bombard her with.LOL |
You people are funny in nigeria, how can you sack an MD of private company that is not own by the nigeria govt. you make me laugh. it most be a joke.
Before I start questioning you, I think you should checkout the meaning of "PLC" that follows the name of most organizations including banks. Probably you'll know who's joking then. |
I'm getting lots of ideas from this thread, Some people even met their spouses at the mortuary, una no go kill me walahi |
ROSSIKE:You really insane for some words you used to describe people on NL, I wish you were watching the house of rep sitting live on NTA now. The sitting is suppose to start by 10:00AM, it started around 11:30AM I'm watching the sitting of the House of Representatives live on NTA right now and this people are really mocking themselves. The house sent an invitation to the CBN governor to appear before it today at plenary, after the Sergent at arm admitted to the members that the CBN governor has been in the National Assembly complex since 9:45AM. The members failed to admit him to the floor of the house referring the matter to one of the committees. We all watched them on Tuesday saying he should come and face us, he should come and tell us where he got his facts from. All of a sudden they don't want to listen to him again. This people deserved to be hanged. COWARDS How now will describe such an action ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Are you trying to tell us things should continue the way they are![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
damola1:What do you mean it's not done ? If all shareholders at an AGM vote someone to anchor the day to day business of the bank, and you as a major shareholder or ex-MD feels you not done executing your ideas, then you should seek re-election or an extension of your tenure instead of interfering with the new MD's job. The CBN's job is to protect the interest of the customers and all other shareholders not just that of the ex-MD or major shareholder. This is the same thing Ibru family did to ruin Oceanic bank. |
jamesugo:It'll limit it though, they have to watch their back now knowing the CBN is always there to treat their Bleep ups |
The corruption started from the top i.e the CBN governor, they have to remove those at the top; Yoruba says: Ti igi ba wo lu igi, ti oke ni amaa koko yoo. no Harm
Which of the CBN governors are you talking about please ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ? |
