pls i just want to know if anybody knows how a senator or any of the senator has represented or is representing their constituents,if they have, apart from laws they should make what else are they to do.
What laws are they making huh?? Fine tuning the 1999 constitution to suit there selfish interest I guess. God will punish PDP for all they are doing to the masses of this country.

thieves
Aside been thieves, they lack intelligence. How can a foolish Senator like Ayogu Eze(Senate spokesman) ask the CBN governor to apologize when the man keeps telling them he has said nothing wrong. Honestly there's no hope with rogues like this making laws in this country.
PoliticsRe: Did Anyone See Sanusi & Aganga On Tv Answering Furious Senators? by HamidO1(m): 9:57am On Dec 02, 2010
I just saw some clips from the public hearing on NTA, that Sanusi guy is one bold and courageous man. Damn, the guy told the senators spot on that the papers that quoted him, quoted him right, he also said it's not in his nature to apologize when he's not wrong.
PoliticsRe: Did Anyone See Sanusi & Aganga On Tv Answering Furious Senators? by HamidO1(m): 9:49am On Dec 02, 2010
Our senators don't mind killing anyone who dwells on their salaries. I'm glad courageous people like Sanusi can talk of such things without fear, Sanusi should watch his back though because Nigerian Senators are desperate

See this one,  Have you forgotten that GEJ is PDP's leader right now, the party made up of rogues. If your guy wants Nigerians to trust him, he should stop dinning with devils.
I see no reason why anyone should vote a party that pressurizes its members to do wrong things. Pure stupidity

i share your concenr at bolafex but let me remind u dat d fact dat a PDP sittin governor gets sent out office alone is a major victory for democracy.i was told OBJ was laffin last nite when reporters asked him on his take about Atiku's nomination from d north?i am very sure OBJ will not b laffin again afta hearin dis news, its onli a pity dat ATIKU misfired by leavin ACN cos dis definatelly would hv been an opportunity for him to rule nigeria under d ACN umbrella
I really don't think Atiku can rule us no matter the platform, this is a man that keeps jumping from one party to the other. He is just to desperate for me, I think he's more concerned about the power not transforming the country. I hope he won't try jumping back to ACN after losing PDP primaries, we'll(ACN) drive the fool away.

WE HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!
by Nuhu Ribadu on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1:58pm

The train of justice is on an irresistible motion in our land as evidenced again by today's victory of my brother and friend, Engr. Rauf Aregbesola, in court, as the legitimate gubernatorial winner in Osun State.

In rejoicing with the great people of Osun at this prospect of good governance and a truly service-oriented administration, I call on us all to keep our eyes on the ball towards next year’s election.

Let us register in massive numbers in the January INEC voter registration exercise; vote out the PDP, and elect ACN candidates come April 2011.

You Guyz shouting to the high heavens that this is victory for democracy make me  grin . Don't you see that the ruling PDP perfected their act by making sure that their Governors (Uduaghan of Delta, Segun Oni of Ekiti , and lately Olagunsoye Oyinlola all served their tenure before they allowed the complainants to have their way. Who knows what they have in store,  Whoever composed of  those Judges who took part in this fraudulent acts need be ashamed of themselves as it is still clear that the PDP do have the clout when it comes to legal wranglings. All those Judges dey payroll, Chai see Format eh !!!

Why not ask this question why the sudden Knee-jerk ejection when they were all done and dusted with governing the states. The Judges think say we be mumu. Yeye people
That's the more reason we need to do away with them(PDP). With PDP, there's nothing like democracy in this country. PDP is always trying to mastermind negative things and subsequently imposing such on the innocent people of this country. Even if this is one of their games, they're surely making the wrong move.

Hey guys!Lets just assume the news is true, does it really call for celebration? Why the foot dragging till now dat oyinlola is preparing to leave office? Some may see it as 'victory for democracy' but is this right?Could somebody tell me what the problem is with our judiciary? What has gone wrong with "quick dispensation of justice?May God deliver us!
I'll prefer you saying may we deliver ourselves instead. We gave ourselves to PDP to toss around as they wish. After 11 years of PDP rule, our power sector is very bad and still yet you see youths coming on NL to say GEJ under the PDP will deliver us. How is that possible when the old thieves in PDP won't even allow you decide on your own. No serious minded person willing to change things in this country will come under the platform of PDP.
We need to wake up, the momentum is on our side as an opposition, we have a presumably good and sincere INEC chairman, all we need do is mobilize people in large numbers to do away with PDP. That's the only secret to a good life in Nigeria.

PDP is gradually becoming a Northern Party!!!

If ACN brings Ribadu (northern) as their Presidential candidate, with all the states ACN already has in the South. . That is the end of PDP come 2011

I'm sure Atiku will be wishing he stayed in ACN grin
You honestly just made my day with this post walahi. Lets keep our fingers crossed and above all mobilize people around us to vote out PDP.
PDP WILL FAIL

I want GEJ out of the race although not as much as i want Atiku out.  I will need Atiku to get GEJ out so that Atiku can be outrightly defeated by the workings of a good opposition.

that way, PDP can be  foregone
Exactly, The only way Nigeria can go forward is by doing away with PDP and getting serious minded people to lead this country. What else do we want? PDP has been there since 1999 and the poverty level isn't any better, education sector is still bad, power sector despite billions of dollars invested is getting worse. Who is GEJ to change the ideology of those old thieves that make up PDP.

Hamid, what is your yardstick for measusring sincerity? That Ribadu was used to deal with Obasonjo political enemies make him a sincere and able person? Why did he not arrest and prosecute other governors and politicians? That was because they were all in the good books of ObJ.That he was used by OBJ after his political foes does not make him qualify to head the office of the president of this country. He should first and foremost go and be the chairman of his local government first or a legislature in the house of reps, alternatively let him first go and learn how to be a deputy governor,Governor, vice president like GEJ and Learn the intrigues that is involve which is everywhere in the World, including America,Britain,Australia etc. Then he can start talking of coming to be president after such experience. When you talk of budget implementation, what exactly are you talking about? Please dont just read and quote from ill informed politicians like Atiku. You should be armed with information before saying anything.Learn what a budget is and the formulation and then go to the office of the minister of finance to get your facts right insted of shooting from the dark like ATIKU
What the hell are you talking about? Are you in Nigeria at all, I don't need to go to the Finance Minister's office to get my facts right about budget implementation. The finance minister was invited to the Senate to tell them why most part of the budget has not been implemented, the guy was giving lame excuses. I'm sure you didn't even know about that.
Talking about Ribadu, you think the EFFC will just jump on a governor without facts. Maybe you should tell me one governor indicted by the EFFC during Ribadu that was innocent, whether he/she is Obasanjo's enemy or nothuh?? Because a governor is Obasanjo's enemy, he shouldn't be touched right. Why not check how much is left in our foreign reserves now and get back to me before shouting or don't you know how to search for factshuhhuh?

You guys make me laugh! What are Nuhu Ribadu credentials? That he was used by a Government to fight those who were stubborn to OBJ? What are his experience in governance? Will Jay-Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo be very good president of Nigeria because they played soccer well in their days? Will Pastor Adeboye be a better president because he is a respcted man of God?You guys just talk without knowing that it takes more than one person to rule in a democracy. What can Nuhu Ribadu,Buhari or Gej do if the national assembly set out to frustrate them? As far as I am concerned, there is no way you can compare a man like Ribadu who has not experince what it means to govern a LG with somebody like GEJ.All over the world,President climb the ladder of political offices to be president. They just dont fall from the sky like Ribadu and say they want to be president. The only problem GEJ seems to be having with shallow minded people is because of his humility and the fact that he has not expressed any dictotorial tendencies.People want to see a Dictator in Civilian clothings rule us like OBJ.But this is a new Nigeria and JONATHAN is that face of a new Nigeria,PERIOD!
Let me first say you are the shallow minded one here. The national assembly will just set out to frustrate them for no reason right, what are you talking about? Your comparisons are out of point, you don't compare Ribadu who you claimed was used by Obj to Okocha and Kanu because Ribadu was in the political scene and dealt directly with corrupt politician.
Clear your mind of any believe of some form of mysterious cloud covering the office of the president of this country, what experience does GEJ have? In 2003 when he was picked as Late Yar'adua's vice, there were people that have spent years as governor looking for the same post, didn't they have far more experience than GEJ? That's to tell you that it goes beyond experience my brother.
A nation like Nigeria with huge human and natural resources needs sincere people to govern us. Sincerity alone from our leaders will take us places.
We are in November 2010 already and most part of 2009(not even 2010) budget has not been implemented. I really see no reason why you think GEJ is different, our power generation hasn't even increased. GEJ has been given more than enough time to prove his capabilities as a leader of which he hasn't impressed most Nigerians.

I'll rather you say PDP has two choices as listed above.
Nigeria has a lot of very good choices in RIBADU, FASHOLA and even Utomi. NOTHING GOOD CAN EVER COME FROM PDP, NOT EVEN GEJ
