Or ask your pop guys, if they can make the scaffold, (if they can) they won't charge you that much, after you provide them with woods!

The increase is Frustrating.

How much to pay carpenter for scaffolding? This carpenter is requesting 4500 and he said that he will do 7 scaffolds for 3 rooms... Basically he wants to charge 31,500. Bolu1986 and hamtabfawaz is there no way to create scaffolds that can be moveable?

it's very possible to create movable scaffold, I use movable scaffold for most of my projects!
Negotiate with him, he can still reduce price.

PS: Make Sure your pop guys are there before he creates the scaffold, so they can explain the heights they want.

YES Ooo my brother, the Engineer will spell out everything needed in contract including paint Buckets including line's. They are all yours when they finish. One thing that always leads to argument in contracting job out is inflate the materials needed, even after bringing the materials to your site when the job is done many of them will claim the reaming materials are theirs and will like to take them when they are done. I don't understand that ooo. I think we should have a debate on this issue in order to have better understanding.

If you buy all materials yourself, the workers has no right to take it away from site. once their job is completed, & payment has been received they're to leave the site.

It can only happen, if it's a contract job, where the worker buys all materials.

Filas 17kg @2,500 = 42,500

Binding wires 1roll = 11,000

Concrete nails 2pkts = 1600

G-nut oil 2bottles = 2,000

Joy Soap 2rolls = 2,500

Total cost of material= N213,600

Labour N1,000 sq meter = 54,540


Total = N268,140

PS: He didn't add casting board & Range, does he wants to cast on the floor! Ask him. (Perhaps he'd rent those & still ask you for money).

Please professionals in the house, what could have een the cuase of the appearance and spreadof this black spots which i guess to be fungi on my POP ceiling . There is no water pipe or leakage and this stains is found in most of my POP ceilings.

What can i do to correct or treat this Anyone with solutions or who might have exerienced this and resolved it should please share

High level of Humidity can cause this or during casting process, The oily mixture for removal of pop board can also be the cause, don't Panic! Painting would cover it & you can also have it screeded. ✓
