FEGEITOK: I got it for a steal, it cost me 40k, but don't expect to get it at that price, because they guy seriously wanted to offload it, he has had it on his shelf for longer than he cares to remember.
There are three types: 1. electric 2. pneumatic 3. battery powered
gigdfhjjhvc: Good morning bosses, abeg my guy advised me to use polystyrene pop that it cheaper than the normal pop. Is this polystyrene gud to use? Any fault with it?
FEGEITOK: Today I bought an 18 guage brad nailer locally while also placing an order for the 23 gauge pin nailer from overseas.
The sellers say these are low demand products in Nigerian so those who sell, don't stock it again or plan to restock if the current stock is exhausted.
I know that there are people who have and use these equipment, but the average carpenter in Nigeria can't be bothered, and it shows in the finishing of their work.
sethtsadopp: Abeg make una use experienced eye take access this my POP guys work. I as tired of going through online pictures and finally gave them the liberty to just come up with their own designs on the fly. Just gave an idea of what I want. I think i really like them but also help me check them. 1. Parlour 2. Still Parlour Area 3. Dinning 4. Kitchen
Looks Nice...
From the design! You definitely love lighting , the concept of the design is to house different led light display.
coldcandy: I told my plumber not to channel hot water to any of my hand wash basins. He was looking at me like I was from d moon. He said supposed it's cold and there's need to use hot water.. I asked him if he has ever used hot water to brush or wash hands in Abuja. He said no. I told him if he use my pipes to send hot water to the basins, I will remove the cost of the pipes and mixer taps from his workmanship money. He grudgingly did wht I wanted.
We had similar arguments on chamberless waste piping. Now all his works are chamberless.
“Thier is one day that I am dressing this woman just batch in into my room without fear , looking at my penis ...I was so ashame of my self ....I don't want to chase her away ....and I haven't report to my wife this issue”
Brother! The way you put this story, it sounds like you're somewhat interested in your mother in law Already. Make Sure you don't fall into that trap of having something with her, it's an abomination you will regret for the rest of your life.
Tell her, if she tries to seduce you again! That you will have to report her to some elders in the family & her daughter too! Stand firm on your words, if you have to disrespect her to make sure she doesn't seduce you, please do.
redgem: Good morning Sir. I have paid for some bags but left them at the sellers shop. Please help me confirm the total sqm and how many bags of POP cement, sponge and materials will I need for the building.

Amin, God bless you too & Goodspeed on your Project.
The building before this project sharing a fence has thier generator house attached to the fence and somewhat disfigures the entrance, also I would like to do an electric fence all round.
How does one go about this? Is the owner of the building supposed to adjust the cover and limit it to inside his compound or there’s nothing we can do since we met them there ?
Also, please note that this generator house is at the backyard of the building. That is; mine is facing the opposite direction.
Your inputs will be appreciated.
Good afternoon Sir.
I hope this doesn't sound weird, I'd suggest you build your own fence, to align with the marked pillar of your gate, to avoid unnecessary fuss.
MrOkenwa: Thank you sir. He took 1.6m based on some mutual agreements, including this 30% chance that you mentioned.
Yes, different discouraging stories everywhere.
Update I did this one yesterday evening. None of the drillers that I contacted gave me any assurance beyond "we will do our best". The one that took the job insisted that I provide a representative that knows about borehole drilling. Should things go the way I don't like, this person will bear him witness. There was about 40 meters overburden. They struck water at around 110 meters and they terminated the drilling at around 120meters. 26 pcs of thick Lombardy casing pipes used. I'm awaiting the installation of the pumping machine today.
diordaves, folmus. Thank you for your response and advice.
MMotimo: If an independent contractor presents themselves as an expert, they should not need supervision. If the client could do it himself/herself, they would not have hired him in the first place. How can you pay a professional and still be expected to supervise him?
If a trades person needs supervision, they shouldn’t be out there taking work that they are not competent to do. Instead, they should be working under a supervisor aka Oga.
My church mind is telling me not to announce that the latest iPhone has just arrived
dapotemi: Halleluyah, Jehovah, which of your mercy will I deny... Today, i am a beneficiary of your love and mercy... The building collapse at sanfill yesterday affected my office... It was expected, every thing about that construction, from my layman's view is just wrong. We talked about it, we joke about it.. They keep adding one floor almost every other month.. Workers always fighting on site.. At a point, they were constituting nuisance and disturbing us.. Look at the end, so pathetic..
sonnie10: Thanks. I was considering between wooden tiles and brick for the marked area. Now, I do think this reflective tile might even be better. How much per square meter?
Olumighty123: In a case of having a ceiling installed already, is there any way one can redesign to that design you sent, I want a different look of ceiling from the regular square or rectangular look.
yeah, it's achievable ......
I get you want something different from the regular ceiling.
I’ve just completed the roofing , Everything cost me around 3.3m plus or minus .
I spent 840k for woods ( ayin ), nails, chemical for spraying , knapsack , transportation and workmanship .. I spent 1.9m naira for 390 sqm of stone coated black Milano plus accessories, transportation and workmanship I spent 460k for the parapet and workmanship ( these guys did a great job ) .
While the roofing was going on , I felt like I wasted money ( spent around 3.3m to roof 3bedroom ( two sitting room) flat). I Thought I shoulda added small change and buy correct lexus .. But when it completed omo I’m really really satisfied .. as in I love it so so much . So beautiful .
Another downside is that the area is not yet developed to what I’m used to and it looks odd, bush bush everywhere ., but I don do am I don do am. Tbh na force dem force me o
Once again , thank you and God bless everyone of us . Amen..
chingynas: Please, is calculating POP square meter different from calculating screeding square meter I need answers please peeps
Pop sqm, the measurements is based on ceiling while Screeding measurements is based on wall. But if you intend to screed the ceiling, then the Sqm is the same
