The 1.5mm is okay but my concern is the 2.5mm that is 18-Red 18-Black. Is he using 2.5mm for AC ? Let me come up with my own assumption. Not 100% correct anyway because i don't know how the electrician fix the pipe.

DUPLEX
1.5mm
Red 9-coils
Black 8-coils
Green 2-coils (for 2-way switching if provided

2.5mm and water heater
Red 5-coils
Black 5-coil
1.5mm green 5-coil (Earth cable)

4mm for AC, Cooker unit
Red 4-coil
Black 4-coil
2.5mm green 4-coil (Earth cable)

2-BEDROOM FLAT
1.5mm
Red 11-coils
Black 9-coils
Green 4-coils (for 2-way switching if provided

2.5mm socket and water heater
Red 8-coils
Black 8-coil
1.5mm green 8-coil (Earth cable)

4mm for AC, Cooker unit
Red 5-coil
Black 5-coil
2.5mm green 5-coil (Earth cable)

Above is for a standard piping.

That's an excellent architect. Attention to details. There is too much cut and paste in the industry. In most cases, no trouble shooting of design concepts before delivering to clients.

I'm of the opinion professionals should not be lazy. There is again too much finish and go mentality in construction. Cool down, check and check again before delivering your work to clients. Architecture is not only about bling, bling 3D rendition, but functionality is key.

I wanted to ask the same question when I saw the work, but you beat me to it.

somehow:
2003 was better than 2007
2007 better than 2011
2011 better than 2015
2015 better than 2019
2019 better than now.

Who on earth thinks 2023 is going to be better than all these years?

Reality is no Hollywood.

The above is not just in Nigeria, every country is feeling it abeit differently.

It's too small a job for the heavy hitters that we have on here.

After staying in several serviced apartments and hotels, I've come to the perfect conclusion that simplicity (perfectly done) is the true luxury, it is not about those golden chairs (taste different sha) and those plump rock standard Chandelier (that you will get tired of seeing after 1 year) or those Italian golden POP.

Just a well done Simple finishing by a good and creative interior designer and I am good to go.

If you know LOCKS&SWITCHES at Onikan you can branch there and price their fittings, that's where he bought all the accessories, and light. They also sell door locks

There is a chandelier of 850k, 1.05m, it depends on your pocket .spend heavily to meet their taste.

I'm privy to a house like that in Ibadan where the owner went all out. I can see, touch and feel the quality within. Turning on the light is a soothing experience. The switch mechanism is different.

Here is the thing, I don't intend to touch any switch in my house in the future.
