Hello professionals in the house. I'm here to seek the advice of the professionals here concerning my family's new house project.

It's a four bedroom pent house.

Here are my questions;
1) what are the step by step stages of building the house from scratch to finishing?
2) is it adviceable to keep materials such as tiles, wc etc after fixing window and exit doors.
3) concrete or iron water tank, which is the best for a small family?
4) do we need to plaster the inside of the building before fixing pop and windows?
5) we are thinking of using roofing sheets to do the parapet instead of concrete. I hope that is a good idea.

It's not a dicey situation. I am telling you how I have been operating. There are things which are not the norm but because clients allowed it not having any need for such.
You see those paint buckets I keep some back and give some to the painter because I use the empty buckets in place for headpans during concrete works.

Let me ask you a question if there was a left over of 4 full buckets of paints will you say the painter owns them all ?

Begging is not a crime stealing is. We all have our down moments at least your client is focused. He begged in 2013 but today a landowner who is able to afford your service. Do you mock such person or you celebrate him.

The 20k he gave you initially wasn't from his heart as he told you to hold on. That money was given to you to save his neck from "evil" person due to your many threats but I assure you if he was indeed a bad person as you allege he'll call your bluff and tell you to go to hell.

In igbo parlance there's a saying that " ojiri gi ogu jiri kwa gi ofo. Meaning haven't given you the money he has raised the deities of justice against you.

If you see anyone offering to do architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural design for 50k you better run faraway.
Most are just charlatans looking for next daily bread and what you'll get would be almost useless and won't stand scrutiny.

In your case, you probably engaged a top firm and most likely your scale of work was larger and perhaps supervision was included.

I'd also be wary of architects who draw structural designs.

I'd also be wary of people who go about swearing, cussing and cursing.
