Linking me to NDDC contracts is Malicious and Blackmail says Cairo .

Leading Governorship candidate of the All Progressive's Congress in Delta State Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has reacted to a media report that he was awarded an NDDC contract. The former House of Representatives member described the report as malicious and blatant lies from the pit of he'll.

Dr. Cairo Ojougboh in a media statement issued by his campaign Media and Publicity Director Mr. Kenneth Udeh said he had never carried out any contract on behalf of the NDDC and does not harbour any intention to do so even when elected as Governor of the State.

He further stated that that as a former member of the House of Representatives he lived up to his promise to serve only one term and his records are open for all to peruse while also imploring Members of the public to disregard such report .

The full statement read:

We read with utter dismay a spurious and malicious publication by some members of our party, the APC, attempting to associate Dr. Cairo Ojougboh to a purported Contract Award and wish to clearly state that the statement is totally ridiculous, baseless, mischievous and untrue but a calculated ploy by mischief makers to blackmail and smear him.

Facts, they say is sacred but comments are free.There are no iota of truth in that publication.The outright falsehood, blackmail and propaganda contained in it are apparently aimed at maligning the reputation of the leading Governorship aspirant as well as to misinform and mislead the gullible public.

For the umpteenth time and to set the record straight, our principal, Dr Cairo Ojougboh is not a contractor, has not done any contract with NDDC now or in the time past and has no intention of doing any contract with them in the near future.

In summary and for the avoidance of doubts, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has neither been awarded any contract nor executed any at both state and federal levels, rather he's known to have kept a clean slate in all the offices of public trust he has held or occupied .

Finally, these faceless members of our party who are involved in the peddling of these lies and engaging in such jamboree of blackmail had better have a rethink and realize the dwarf implications of their unguarded utterances and excesses of malicious post for our great party, the All Progressive Congress, APC if they really mean well and want the party to grow in Delta State.

Thanks to Orji Kalu for building two stadiums. This does not remove the fact that Ikpeazu is a failed Governor. Abia State remains the most backward state in Nigeria.

Kenneth Okonkwo, popularly known as Andy, is a man loved by all in the south east and among the Igbos.

His popularity came from his role in his debut film 'living in bondage'

I for one prefer watching any film that featured Andy because of his true to life acting as well as the story line of most of his films.

All these popularity and love are gradually coming to an end owing to the support Andy has for President Buhari and his unguarded utterances against his people.

Mr Andy has shown by his words that he is far from his people.

Whoever adviced him to drop Buhari's name in his infamous speech made a very big mistake. It has done an irreparable damage to whatever ambition he has.

Mr Andy seen not to know that the Igbos have suffered greatly under Buhari's government.

Mr Andy insulted the sensibilities of the Igbos when he stated that the Igbos will wander in the wilderness for 8 years if they fail to vote Buhari.

Mr Andy failed to learn from the predicament of former governor of Anambra state Mr Ngige.

Dr. Cairo congratulates Ekiti Governor elect; Dr. Fayemi , insists APC will take over DELTA State.

The frontline Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in DELTA State Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has congratulated Dr. Kayode Fayemi in what he described as a “hard fought victory”. The keenly contested election which was held on Saturday saw the Former Minister emerge as the winner in the state.

Dr. Cairo, stressed that the emergence of Dr. Fayemi as the duly elected Governor shows that the people of Ekiti state like other opposition states in Nigeria particularly “Delta State’’ have seen the development strides of the Buhari led administration and they have realized that the APC is the largest growing party in Nigeria which has the interest of the masses at heart. He assured that the victory of the APC in Ekiti will also be witnessed in DELTA state.

Cairo a former member of the House of Representatives had in an earlier tweet message via his official handle @CairoOjougboh congratulated Dr. Fayemi which read: Congratulations to Dr. Olukayode Fayemi for this victory and also to our party faithfuls and stakeholders. I’m optimistic he will rewrite the wronmgs. It’s a new dawn for the good people of Ekiti State. By God’s grace we shall see a New Delta State come 2019.” The tweet ended.

However, in a statement issued from Abuja by his campaign media assistant Mr. Kenneth Udeh.
Dr. Cairo said “The emergence of Dr. Kayode Fayemi is a true reflection of the choice of people. The victory of Dr. John Kayode fayemi is unprecedented it also sends a very strong signal that Nigerians are better off under the APC. It also shows that the good people of Ekiti State understand the need and benefits of being part of the party at the central.
Despite the challenges we are facing as a nation due to the monumental failure of the last administration Nigerians are beginning to feel the impact of the positive changes that the President and his Team have embarked towards re-writing the wrongs of the past. I have always been of the opinion that it pays more to be part of the center rather than being in “opposition” because this will fast track and attract more developments to the region. The Southwest like every other region plays a very important role in the democracy of our country and it is very pleasing that they are now fully integrated with the APC at the Federal Level. I also want to thank our party stakeholders and leaders for their efforts and dedication towards this historical victory, I urge them to also use the same spirit of commitment to ensure the Delta state is rescued from the corrupt led PDP Government. It is a victory for the people who have said a loud “NO” to years of intimidation, inducement, corruption and economic backwardness in the state. It is also very clear that the good people of Delta state are will also say “NO” to the fraudulent “OKOWA” led administration in DELTA State come 2019. I call on Dr. Fayemi to immediately kick start the restoration process in the state and also channel the state to the numerous development programmes of the Buhari led administration.” The statement ended.
He also commended the President for keep to his words by ensuring that the election process in the state like that of Anambra was not manipulated. He also thanked the people of the state for conducting themselves in an orderly manner towards the success of the peaceful election.
