Those tht av seen the rigors of polygamy wld''t wish it for their worst enemy, u think polygamy is just to be able to sleep wt different women? Think again. I know a man nw in old age, who said if he cld turn back the hands of time, he wld never av ventured into polygamy. He knew what he saw. Now, he is a strong advocate against any of his sons marrying more than a wife. I av pple who av all the resources to marry more wives bt decided nt to cos they av seen things, tht pleasure u're seeking from being able to sleep wt different women wld be minute when reality sets in.

Some men are lucky enof to be able to manage the home well, but most don't av the ability to. The annoying part is u'll find men who can barely manage just a wife also venturing into polygamy.


And no, polygamy doesn't curb a cheating soul, there wld always be another lady out there more sexy to him than the wives at home, a man wt no self control can't regain it thru polygamy. When men learn to put themselves in their women's shoes, tht is when sanity can come in. I can imagine how men wld be so happy sharing their wives wt other men if polyandry is to come in. They will boldly talk abt how women are polygamous in nature and shld be allowed to Bleep around, while the guy looks the other way and even av to be nice or pretend to be nice to his rival. This wld be so wonderful. Men ain't emotional afterall, they can only go mad if a man looks longer than necessary at their wives talk more sleep wt them, but the female super-humans av no right to be emotional abt having their loved one sleep around.




Enof of my ramblings, I pray I wnt av a man such as 'these' as a husband. Ladies there are gud, worthy men out there, but when u're unlucky to av one wt no self control abeg carry face and face ur career and children and find ways to protect urself so he doesn't come and infect u wt something, no man is worth one's unhappiness, or landing in Aro for . If u can't handle it, let no one tell u not to divorce, divorce is always an option.

Wow! This is so deep. I can see lots of pple can relate to this. My advice is get something doing no matter how small, av a skill, service u can render to pple and get paid. Even right from sch probably during holidays one shld find time to learn a skill, Nigeria is no longer abt, I av my certificate so employment is sure, the struggle is real. If it's a barbing saloon one wld open, in a gud location, it's money, fashion designing, private lessons, IT stuffs, catering services, trading, transport biz, etc, just don't sit around at home till tht dream job comes.

Still some remarks aren't ignorable. There are folks here whose sole mission is to mislead and misguide alot of vulnerable young people.

They have a political and social crusade and revolutionary call. I do not spare any of those if I can spot them and single them out.

Social media has a certain disinhibition at one level and yet a pulling force of human connectivity at the other end.

When one sits behind a screen and keyboard and types away, he doesn't get to see the effect of his words on the faces and body language of those he communicates with. All he relies for a feedback are digital prints which are inadequate in conveying emotional responses.

So sometimes, hurtful words are hurled by actually good people who have no idea the effect of their words. But these words are actually as effective as if they were spoken in the flesh.

Now the point is if social media can evoke such pain and hurt, then it also has the power to connect and bond people in an equally compelling degree as well.

Social media is taking a whole lot of new meaning today and you're right; you can touch and impact lives positively here as much as you can dampen the joy and enthusiasm of life as well.

The rift that divides the virtual and physical world has almost been replaced completely by the bridge built by the very essense and core of humanity: We cannot destroy it anymore than we can destroy our perpetual search for a better way of living.

Weirdly, I seem to find the banters amusing and funny cos I don't just seem to get the point. But I react to things according to my mood.

I try as much as I can to bring others up and make them feel good about themselves in my environment and online cos you never know what they are going through physically and emotionally, some people are so sensitive those hurtful words one didn't count or just feeling fly about might be the trigger they need to dark actions , so I'm sure trolling won't suit me (too nice, if cld say so myself), but I can be confrontational cos hypocrisy and some stereotypes irritates me, and sometimes I just can't help myself.

I do find trolling entertaining; the skilfully, witty ones laced with facts and imaginative depths that is. Social media comes more alive. I find constrained and false gentility as dry as a December leaf.
