hello guys, i've been trying to add weight for sometime and it's not working. I've tried supplements, i try as much as possible to eat all the time even when i'm not hungry, and i really hate it. I tried calculating my BMI, and it indicates i'm underweight (was'nt surprised). So guys are there some special food i should eat cos my parents think i'm sick. Thanks

I dnt consider myself sickly thin, I av a normal build and a very ok BMI, bt my mum is always worrying I'm nt eating well, tht I shld av gained more wgt wt the little free time I av to myself, she bought expensive suplements wc I neva use anyway. U wld think she tht is complaining is fat too. Same wt dad, and it's nt like I dnt eat, I just dnt seem to get fatter

Don't beat urself up too much over tht. Be comfortable wt ur looks and wear clothes tht suit u so u dnt look awkward. Just ensure u eat healthy and well and sleep and rest adequately. Another method is eat heavy at night and drink lots of water. This doesn't necessarily mean u'll get fat cos ur stature is influenced by genetics, bt at least ur BMI improves. Don't worry after pregnancy and child birth wt peace of mind u'll gain more wgt

Bodysuits - 2k - 2500. Note tht this depends on the quality and effizy u want. It comes in a pack bt don't mind the age range on d pack, d one my baby sis used had six mths written on it bt it didn't quite fit her well at 3mths.


I dnt knw abt 2nd hand products bt I guess it'll depend on grade.


Sleepsuits and pyjamas, I don't think u need to bother abt this just ensure u change the clothes b4 sleeping and dress d baby up as suits d weather.

U can try out linco and Bbenjoy products, they ain't bad. It shld be btw 200- 300 depending on size. Or i can get a baby bottle bank, its abt 2,500 or so wt many bottles of varying sizes and cups, etc

Baby socks depends on quality, u can get 3 fpr 100 bt d quality is poor, 3 for 200-250 isn't bad but cld be costlier depending on quality.
Caps shld be 200- 300

Bibs - 200

Shawl - 600 and above depending on quality and size.
If u want nt so common products u can contact pple tht go shopping frm Dubai and SA bt the products are very costly and personally I dnt see any big deal abt them, compared to normal ones. U can contact a wholesaler for gud prices bt be gud at bargaining (dnt be annoying sha) so they dnt give u high prices altho things are very costly nw. Take care of urself. Hope this helps

U can't get specific prices here, prices differs frm place to place and quality to quality besides things are costlier nw. l advice u go to the market and price the items and bargain of course or ask pple around u abt someone tht sells quality products at reasonable prices.

I think ur wife shld be more understanding tho cos u'll most likely feel anxious wanting to please her and even worsen d situation. Exactly. If OP had the capital tho, u cold look for a location near a hospital or maternity and set up somewhere he can sell baby products, and materials needed for delivery. He cld start out small by getting the list of materials commonly used for delivery, and later add in household utensils, plastics and gift items. In a gud location and wt gud marketing tactics, this isn't bad business. He cold as well learn a skill or go into transport biz, maybe look for a way to get korope to convey passengers ( don't knw much abt it), there are many times I av encountered graduates as korope drivers, it's saddening but what can we do wt this economy, man must survive.

Thank you. Altho I don't mind doing all the cooking and chores , but some men's mentality is very warped, the woman has to do all the house chores, they feel helping her out will make them less of a man but her sharing bills with them doesn't make them less of a man.

I av a Prof in one of the prestigious Unis in Nigerian as a family friend, the wife is also a Prof, he cooks for his family once in a while esp when his wife is tired or sick or travelled, the children sef prefers his cooking cos he doesn't economize ingredients and assortment like his wife.
There are men tht can't even feed their own baby, if the wife dares suggest tht they help out, na trouble. The woman is the one expected to slave around all day and still contribute to the family's finances. An heavily pregnant woman wld be expected to continue cooking for him and his barrage of friends, whether she is sick or healthy she has to cook, if she comes back late from work and tired, she has't cooked, there is trouble, etc . May God help us.
