European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Kaka: Messi Should Win The Ballon D’or What;s Your Opinion? by Hannibal: 6:55pm On Sep 10, 2008

Messi won Olympic Gold . Just like Ronaldo Lima in 1996 and won. some players won Champions League, Premiership and the European boot + European golden shoe but Ronaldo was considered ahead of them. Why?
This is where i think you are suffering from brain disorder. . . . .Ronaldo Lima didn't win Olympic gold in 1996.

You just said some players won in 1996 but Ronaldo single-handedly won Champions League, Premiership, European golden shoe n boot.
These awards were shared in 1996 but ONE player won everything HIMSELF in 2007.
If there was a player like him in 1996, he would beat Ronaldo Lima hands down.
How many players can lay claim to all the individual awards Ronaldo won last season? It has never happened before.

Zidane was the best player in 2000 which tournament? UCL  he did not play, Scudetto? He did not win, Golden boot? No.
Just because of the Euro 2000 display. So the player of the tournament should win. Then talk about Xavi or Casilass
So if you justify Zidane for winning by the Euro display alone, then I think Ronaldo does not merit the award the it goes to Casilass.
Zidane was the best player in EURO 2000. . . .
The remarkable performance he showed alone in that tournament sending Portugal n Spain home was unequalled.
Besides, there was no single player who won the European double in 2000 PLUS the golden boot in his domestic league, champions league golden boot and scoring the highest league goals in the whole of Europe.
You cannot overlook that achievement or compare it to Casillas or a diminutive Xavi that got trained by Scholes in Nou Camp and OT.

Its like Flogging a dead horse Rooney is very ineffective and every one is getting tired of him. Or why would a club splash that much on Berba if Rooney was delivering. Pundits are already saying that Rooney should drop to the bench
Rooney is too effective for Club. . . . .For country, his team mates don't have QUALITY.
I am yet to see an effective Cristiano Ronaldo without WAYNE ROONEY.
With the number of talented players in the Premiership, it's shocking that Rooney is the 2nd most creative player in the last 2 seasons.
So much for the ineffective Rooney.

Man United brought in Berbatov not because Rooney is ineffective. . . . Your football knowledge is crass.
Rooney was part of the HOLY TRINITY that bagged 80 goals last season despite his limited appearance due to injuries.
He scored 4 goals in the UCL despite starting from wide position.
No ROONEY. . . .No Man Utd.

@H

Dude,''women are generally''?? Seems you keep forgetting you've got a mum. A nice one i'm sure  wink Quit generalizing.  .  .not all women are that petty.

Women have issues, true. Its their level of maturity and self-control when handling these issues that tell you how sensible a woman is.
Quit generalizing?? It's a known fact. . . .

Women don't get along everywhere. . . . .It's no longer a myth.
93% working women detest female bosses. . . . They would rather have a male boss who does not pay ATTENTION TO DETAILS.
Have u encountered a female driver on the road before?? She won't give way even when u beg them to.
Whereas, when they want u to give way. . . . . .They know how to beg with their powdered faces.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Kaka: Messi Should Win The Ballon D’or What;s Your Opinion? by Hannibal: 6:30pm On Sep 10, 2008
Ronaldo de Lima won the world cup in 2002 scoring 8 goals(matching Pele's all time record as his total goals clocked 12).
Besides, u cannot name a better player in that world cup year. Everyone was mediocre at large.

Zidane  also won Euro 2000.
His display earned him the player of the tournament.
It was no brainer, he was the best player in Europe in 2000.

Leo Messi. . . . . He was nowhere to be found last season.
He missed out because of injury and when he came back, he couldn't inspire Barcelona to win any medal.
Was he not on the pitch when a medicore Madrid team spanked them at the Bernabeu?
Olympic Medal?? I doubt that would be favoured ahead of Champions League, Premiership and the European boot + European golden shoe.

CRISTIANO RONALDO all the way.

Lol @ topic.

Honestly i really don't understand why most ladies are like that. As in,when a lady walks into a room all the other women present stare, size her up from head to toe, noting every single thing about her. . .then they relate or don't relate with her based on what they see. Its not uncommon for Susie to beef Amanda because she thinks Amanda's smile is nicer than hers. . .or because Amanda talks with a real British accent. . .or because all the boys seem to like Amanda. . .or for Susie and Amanda to keep malice for 3 months running. . .or any other petty reason they can think of.

Dunno why its hard for most girls to overlook stuff like most guys. . .or help each other out like most guys do. . .or keep from snitching on each other.

Guess its one of those things that can never change, lol.
Just admit women have ISSUES.
That will do for me. . . . . . .It would take 4 years to determine why they do the bitching. . . .
Women are generally spiteful, jealous, envious with ATTITUDE.

The evidence of Rooney's uneffectiveness needs no more validation than UNITED'S splashing of $##m(who knows how much they really bought that thing) on Berbatov. They're desperate and can't give the guy the boots, just like MADRID can't give Raul the boots. Irrational purchases can never replace genuine team planning, policy and implementation like those guys at EMIRATES do.

topup:
Potential causes;

- Bad personal traits (the final deciding factor)
- Poverty
- Greed

- Giving away too much money instead of yourself into the relationship (you freely give, they will freely accept, only some women will reject your abundant gifts and money)

Also, it could be yourself, if you flash your money about, then you may as well be attracting money hungry women, or if you claim to have excess of money all the time, then she may assume that you have plenty to give away to her various 'causes'.

Those 2 factors are the reasons.
All others are purely secondary/tertiary.
Those blood-sucking women in Nigeria don't care whether u flash money about or not. . . . . . .
They were raised in a country where patriarchy reigns supreme. . . . .so what should we expect?
