Senderos is a decent player.
I dunno why people slate him. . . . . He made costly errors in the past but then who hasn't??
There was a time Wes Brown was a complete doofus for Man Utd. . . . Now he is the number one RB in England.
He even got a goal in the last friendly and he has made the RB position his own at Man Utd.
Although, Fergie has confessed he would play Neville in Monaco on Friday.

Senderos benching Nesta. . . . . . Thatz a good CV.
Lets hope Roy Keane buys him in January for that achievement. grin cheesy

@ Debosky,

U made a valid point.

Why push the panic button because a team lost a game!!!!
Eboue was magical on Saturday. He made 2 brilliant runs and even poked shots at the Fulham goal.
The whole team stuttered. . . . .I cannot even blame any individual for what happened.
Wenger should use this defeat to rally his boys back and get back to their winning ways.

Heard Senderos is off to Milan. . . .  grin  Can he bench Nesta? grin cheesy

You are right.

But matches in which a single goal will not do us justice are closer than we are prepared.

Rooney really need to get back his old form and start scoring not only a goal but several goals in matches.
There's nuthing wrong with Rooney. . . . . .The last time i checked, he scored a good goal today only to be ruled as offside.
I need Rooney's energy and determination upfront. . . .We shouldn't be in a haste.
Many proven goalscorers are yet to score. . . . The season has just kicked off. . . Ronaldo didn't score until MATCHDAY 6 last season.

ndumart:
Our performance today was commendable. The lads worked their ass off. However there was no urgency in their play. they were sort of complacent.Especially Tevez, he just kept moving the ball around, Fletcher wasnt too impressive with his final ball. Ando was a handfull considering the fact that he just came back yesternite.

The defence line was water-tight apart from Oshea who gave me some jitters. It was a nice performance considering the absence of notable players.
I agree with u. . . .

Fratton Park is a very difficult place to get a DRAW let alone, VICTORY.
I think today's win is about 6 points cos not too many teams would pick 3 points here.
Tevez was magnificent. . . . .He musta been told to keep possession if he aint sure and he held the ball well with crisp passes.
Fletcher is a slow-thinker. . . .He needs 5 secs extra to make simple decisions. . . .His 1st team action is over now cos Hargo/Nani are ready.

@ Dayokanu,

U need to shut up ur mouth.
Does Rooney play as a centre forward or why is the simplest sentence gets difficult for ur nappy head.
Are u mentally derailed or the symptoms of a MID-LIFE CRISIS. grin

We are heading to the top of the table.

The mid-field and the defense were very good tonight.

These days Patrice Evra is becoming more useful in the front than the back.

Return of Nani will give us more attacking options and every match will be more entertaining.

ROONEY
In my own opinion he is becoming more of a Mid-fielder than a strikers. And talk about a striker, he seem to be playing as a Winger.

He will need some more time to go back to his former attacking role.

What do you guys think about Rooney?
Rooney is our most important player.
His presence is a menace to any defence be it CHELSEA or ARSENAL.
The energy he dissipates alone on movement, tackles and chasing is in MEGA-joules.
We cannot do without Rooney but we can easily do without Ronaldo if we have Nani/Hargo(dead-ball specialists). grin cheesy

Oh!!! you mean you want to watch our backs . . . . yeah we can handle that. .
16th to 5th ? Common man you know it's too early to start rejoicing . . except if you led the table of course. .
Oh sorry I forgot you can't remember what it feels like to top the table umh grin grin
Ya lead is temporary!!!
If i were u, i would kneel down and PRAY!!!
Man Utd is not going to give up and will chase CHELSEA like they did Arsenal last season.
I think Man Utd is better when in pursuit!!!!

vinisky:
Hannibal, we're 5th in the standings? undecided Damn and i thought we would be 3rd. anyways we'll keep on going higher cool
United 4 Laif.
If Rooney's goal had counted(no thanx to a visually-impaired line assistant), we woulda been 3rd.
United is 5th cos of goals difference but we would get there. We need a NANI now and i am confident we would beat Liverpool @ Anfied again. grin

@ Cristalz,

I pity Doyin13. . . . . .
Abuja-Wembley and now Fratton Park??
What is going on??

Possebon played well and fitted well perfectly.
Scholes was given the Barclays BUBBLY as the MOTM.
Way to go. . . . .People!!!!

Yeye pompies. . them no fit score one goal . . Imagine.
Luis Felipe Scolari. . . . . .Watch your BACK!!!!!
From 16th position to 5th position. . . . . .The climb is HUGE.
By the time we play Liverpool and Chelsea in september. . . . We should be knocking doors of the pole position.
That was a very professional performance from the United lads.
This 3 points is worth SIX because not too many teams would pinch a victory at Fratton Park.

P.S. Where is Doyin?? grin grin  We have now beaten Pompey THRICE in a row. grin

@ Cristalz,

Guess what?? Nani has now finished serving his 3-match suspension.
By the time we play our next game mid-september. . . . We would be fielding a bloated team of top draw players.
How's ur assessment of Possebon?? Better than Denilson and Eboue, innit?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 9:48pm On Aug 25, 2008
John O'Shea is a donkey!!!!
I dunno why he gave that freekick away. . . .The Pompey player aint going nowhere. . and he wacked him down outside the box.

The medic guy should stitch Vida's face in time.
Gosh. . . . 3 mins is a tad too long not to have Vidic.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 9:38pm On Aug 25, 2008
Cristalz:
VDS is making some cool saves sha. . . Pompey is yet to give up.
Yikes! Get up Rio!!
Possebon in for Anderson.
This maybe tricky for Pompey. . . . . Possebon is deceptively dangerous.
Ando had to be taken off. . . . .He came back 5pm last night.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 9:27pm On Aug 25, 2008
I just love ANDERSON's energy.
The way he buzzes around the pitch and make timely rackles without using his head is just top draw.
If only we can have TWO of him.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 9:18pm On Aug 25, 2008
@ Nateevs,

Go and sip some dull TEA!!!!

If u are watching this game, u would know Crouch/Defoe partnership is not working.
This is a team without Giggs, Ronaldo, Nani and Hargreaves.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 9:04pm On Aug 25, 2008
Cristalz:
@nateevs
For the love of soccer, use your head unbiasedly!!!

Compare the way Pompey's playing now to the way they played against Chelsea. At SB they didn't even play at all!! They were just running around in confused circles. Now they're playing with a good measure of zeal, especially now that they're at home with their fans giving 'em the necessary support.

They had good chances too,but Crouch messed 'em up. Dude, are you really watching,or you're just following some live commentary online from some very biased commentator?? cheesy grin
Nateevs is a wind-up merchant!!!

He is just doing this to rile us up but i can't be fazed.
Chelsea know a victory for United today blows out their title hopes in shreds.
By the time we play our next game, every injured player should be back plus the possibilty of Ronaldo return.
Scolari should better start praying. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:55pm On Aug 25, 2008
@ Coded Guy,

Evra RAIDS. . . . . . .He is the modern day left back. . . .He loves going forward
Thats one thing Chelsea don't have until recently when they signed Bosingwa.
Besides, the right side of the formation is wacky, Brown ain't gold going forward and Fletcher keeps drifting to the centre.
Where's Luiz Nani when u need him??  Nani should better give a virtuoso performance in Monaco on friday. . . .or else?? ??

@ Nateevs,

Shush. . . . . .
Chelsea won because Pompey didn't turn up. . . .
How many shots(off/on) target did they cop at SB. . . . . Are u that good defensively?
We saw how Wigan outplayed and outthunk Scolari yesterday and he had no clue. . . . .
If only they had a Torres upfront and Cech's brilliant saves. . . . .Defeat was on the cards for the BLUES.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:51pm On Aug 25, 2008
nateevs:
Portsmouth did not turn up. .
They are just allowing Manure play.
U must be watching from a Black n White TV with distorted signals.
Pompey didn't TURN UP??
If they played against y'all this way. . . . .Chelsea woulda conceded 3 goals.
Let it be known we are playing em at HOME!!!! None of the BIG 4 won at Fratton Park last season. tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:44pm On Aug 25, 2008
What a miss again from Rooney but that was a good move!!!
Wazza is too gifted. . . . .Just look at the way he turned Distin to set himself perfectly on goal.
Anderson's pass to Rooney was top draw.
Can we stick Ando in the central midfield please. . . . .He is the new Dinho. grin cheesy

@ Coded Guy,

You can't blame Wazza for that chance. . . .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:40pm On Aug 25, 2008
@ Cristalz,

That was FLETCHER'S GOAL. . . . . .The ball was going IN anyways, Distin just helped it in.
The direction of the ball was goal-bound so it was Fletcher's goal.
We need to silence the Pompey crowd now with a 2nd goal.

We should plan anutha left RAID.
Anutha miss from Rooney. . . .
What is wrong with this Croxeth lad?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:34pm On Aug 25, 2008
FLETCHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

THIS IS A GOOD GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

One thing i love about Evra is the way he RAIDS.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:32pm On Aug 25, 2008
@ Cristalz,

Scholes is doing okay in the midfield but O'Shea is a donkey.
Anderson should play alongside Scholesy so the attack can function very well.
Nani is a bastard for that red card he copped last season. . . . .We dont have a natural left winger at all.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 8:22pm On Aug 25, 2008
What a freekick from SCHOLES.

Rooney should keep a kool head and place shots where it would be difficult for the keeper to catch.
This is where Ruud, Ronaldo and Solskjaer are dangerous.
He just goes for power and not PLACING!!!!
SportsRe: Premier League: Portsmouth (0) Vs Manchester United (1): 25 August, 8pm by Hannibal: 8:00pm On Aug 25, 2008
@ Doyin13,

Anderson will make sure the 3 points go to the REDS.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Hannibal: 7:54pm On Aug 25, 2008
@ Folahann,

We don't change things around like Wenger. . . . .

Fergie belives in consistency.
Brown was part of the rear guard that conceded just 22 league goals last season.
Neville will have to work his way up the ladder. . . . . . .

What is O'Shea doing in the starting line up when we have Possebon on the bench?
The Brazilian twins(Rafael/Fabio) would have suited me ass better.
I hope the Arrow doesn't make any serious goof tonight.
Just gimme 3 points and letz go take the UEFA supercup on Friday.

I serious hope that Man. United beat those gays from the southcoast(Pompey)

One thing that disgusts me about South england is their shameless homosexualism.

@ Wormedup,

I think u have downed several bottles of STAR today. . . .

U have just re-affirmed what i was trying to tell u.
Ronaldo never really stayed on the flanks throughout last season. . . .He was not a conventional winger last season.
Rooney(striker) had more assists than Ronaldo so that should tell u the roles have been reversed.
All i am saying is. . . . . Strikers are judged by goals but midfielders shouldn't be judged by goals(scoring goals is only a bonus).
Makelele is arguably the best midfielder in the world. . . . . .How many goals did he score at Chelsea compared to Lampard or Essien??

That prediction was made ONE FULL MONTH before the season kicked off.
Even Nostradamus had flaws in his works so don't hate on JACKSTRADAMUS.
The single most important factor was predicting the EPL winner which i got SPOT ON.
