I have told Nigerian celebrities to stop flaunting their private lives on social media but they refused because they want to copy the americans. You have forgotten that there are no witches in America.

I have not seen a marriage that was flaunted on social media that stood the test of time.. Even some wedding preparations that were flaunted on social media ended up not holding.. REASON being that the witches in their villages are now on Facebook, twitter and instagram so they don't need to be flying up and down monitoring you, all they need is to subscribe BIS/data.

Our female celebrities publicize everything "baby bump, baby shower, bla bla bla".. Organizing parties for an unborn baby.

When Tiwa gave birth she posted only the hand of the baby and there was no serious noise unlike when she was pregnant.

Today I saw a headline "Pictured~ TIWA SAVAGE's husband steps out with their new baby".. I was so excited hoping to see a complete baby. All I saw was her husband covering the baby and he brought out the hand again.

Chai!! Na by force to flaunt pikin?

Mrs Tiwa, if you are not proud of your baby, pls tell your husband to stop posting anything about him on social media and ignore journalists asking for pictures..

The horrific accident happened this afternoon in front of interland containers near ABC terminal in Amuwo Odofin. An Okada rider carrying a passenger collided with a truck. JAMB registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde is being paid to selectively divert candidates to private universities against the wish of applicants, Dotun Sodunke, the President of the Association of Tutorial Center Operators (ATCO), has alleged.


"A series of frauds have been going on in JAMB, and this is the right time to end it because I trust President Muhammadu Buhari to do justice to this," he said at a protest in UNILAG.

The tutor alleged that the board has deceived and defrauded candidates of the JAMB examination for several years.

The selling of "Change of Institutions and Courses" forms is a particularly questionable practice, Mr. Sodunke said. "Since JAMB knew it would still randomly allocate the candidates to institutions by its own discretion, why did it in the first place sell forms for them to change their choices, [only] to later allocate them at will to non-chosen institutions?" he posed.

A horde of post-JAMB candidates and some parents also came to the UNILAG campus, protesting decisions of the board to change their institutions, which they said they did not choose.

A PDP chieftain in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers state, Mr. Alala Osondu, has been killed. According to reports, he was assassinated close to his home in the Ada-George area in Port Harcourt at about 12.30am today July 21st.

He was said to be returning from a political meeting when he was attacked by people who trailed him. The Rivers state police commissioner, Chris Ezike while confirming the incident, said further investigation into the matter is ongoing.

The Head coach of Kano Pillar football club has been sacked by the club's management. A statement made available by the club's spokesman Idris Malikawa today, says the newly constituted Pillars Football board headed by Kabiru Baita approved Emordi’s dismissal.

Mr Emordi was dropped following what the club described as a "string of poor results" under him. Only recently, he led his team mates to a 3-3 draw against Lobi Stars in Makurdi. Pillars are ninth on the table with 27 points, nine points behind leaders Sunshine Stars and Enyimba.

For Goodness sake, why should they shoot at someone who was unarmed and raised his hands. This same man had a similar experience last two December where some guys stopped him and he stopped and they shot at him, luckily for him he survived that by God's Grace and now this. I really won't want this case swept under the carpet, The Nigerian Police has done more harm than good to its Citizens.

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos south west Nigeria today ordered the Nigerian Police Force to pay N100 million compensation to the family of a female lawyer Patricia Onyeabo who died in Police custody due to lack of medical care.



The judgement of the court was sequel to the N1billion suit filed by Patricia’s daughter, Miss Amaka Onyeabo, also a lawyer, against the Inspector-General of Police,(IGP).

Late Mrs. Onyeabo, before her death on 16 May 16 2014, was the Legal Adviser/Secretary to the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC.

Joined as co- respondents in the suit were the Lagos state Commissioner of Police and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Nigerian Railway Corporation headquarters.

Amaka in an affidavit filed by her Lawyer, Chief Anthony Idigbe, SAN asked for declarations that the unsubstantiated indictment in a letter, leading to the harassment, detention, intimidation, humiliation and restriction of movement of her late mother since April 25, 2014, until her death on May 16, 2014, by the respondents was frivolous, vindictive, wicked, smacked of gross impunity, and was unlawful, unconstitutional and a breach of the fundamental rights of the deceased. ‬

She asked for an order of the court directing the respondents to tender an unreserved apology to her and her entire family in any two Daily newspapers circulating within Nigeria.

She also prayed the court to grant an order directing the respondents to pay her family the sum of N1billion, being general and aggravated damage for unlawful detention, harassment and intimidation of her late mother in breach of her fundamental rights that eventually led to her painful and premature death.
‪
The applicant averred that her deceased mother received a letter on April 25, 2014, signed by the Nigerian Railway Corporation’s managing Director, Engr. Adeseyi Sijuwade, accusing her to have conspired with 69 other staff of the Corporation to embezzle over N1.5 billion between 2011 to 2013, before her retirement from the Corporation in February 2014.

Amaka averred further that in the shocking letter received by her late mother, she was informed that the sum of N16.5 million over the period of three years (2011-2013), had been traced directly to her personal accounts as proceeds of the alleged conspiracy to defraud the Corporation of N1.5 billion of pension funds and her purported benefit in the alleged embezzlement conspiracy.‬

She also averred that deceased was arrested and detained at the different formations of the Nigerian police in Lagos and Abuja between May 2, 2014, on the basis of a warrant of arrest and detained till when she died on May 16, 2014. She said all efforts by the deceased lawyer to secure her bail, so that she could get adequate medical care was rebuffed by the police authorities, and that during her detention, the deceased suffered stroke and she eventually died on May 16,2014.‬

Amaka also averred that the alleged petition, harassment, and threats of arrest by the police were made in bad faith, calculated to blackmail, exploit, embarrass, stripe her late mother of any iota of dignity and that same as completely rubbished her late mother’s reputation and family name built up over several decades of meritorious service and exposed her late mother’s entire family including herself to the most humiliating form of ostracism, isolation, finger pointing, community jeers, public indictment without any form of fair hearing or opportunity for the deceased and her entire family to clear the deeply tarnished name and dignity of her entire family.‬

However, the respondent in a counter affidavit filed and argued before the court contended that Miss Amaka has no locus standi to institute the action on behalf of her mother.

Justice Mohammed Idris while citing series of authorities said:

“ I held that the Nigerian Police have failed in their responsibility. The applicant has liberty to life while in the custody of the Nigerian Police but was denied, thereby leading to her life being terminated.If she had access to hospital she would not have died. But the police deprived her the right to visit hospital to treat her ailment. Therefore,the applicant is entitled to general damages in the sum of N100 million.

Citing the Supreme court authority in the case of Bello versus attorney General of Oyo state delivered by the late Justice Kayode Eso,to the effect that we should be our brothers keepers, Justice Idris disagreed with the submission of the Nigerian Police that the applicant has no legal right to institute the legal action on behalf of her late mother.

This 14 year old girl named Chiawolam Comfort Umeh (pictured above) committed suicide on July 7th after she was gruesomely gang-raped by 3 men on June 28th at Iyienyi Village, near Okwoyi Community, in Isieke, Ibeku, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State. Chiawolam was a virgin before she was defiled by the vile men.
