I love the grandfather clocks and telephones. They look very majestic and exotic in houses where they are kept as evidence that the owners were once very well to do. Second point of note for me is that someday in the future, the gadgets we are using today will be referred to as 'Appliances from the Past'

The only permanent thing is change.
Romance › Re: Can You Take A Bullet For Your Girlfriend? by hardbody: 7:08pm On Oct 14, 2014
There will be no need to take a bullet for her. Literally, she is not a robber so no bullet is coming. She won't slap a bus conductor or a taxi driver, that will be both rude and uncouth, We never will be in a situation where non decent people parade. As an example, have you seen two corporate dudes having a misunderstanding over who hit whom on third mainland bridge, they come down, discuss calmly, exchange notes and phone numbers and drive off. You attract who you are. Agbero chick will always find an agbero guy to complement. Even in a club, do the club where bouncers allow no such thing and if a situation is getting messy, crowd your babe away. People die in street fights and i have seen several. Beyond the deaths and injuries, there is an image to protect

Superstar007, try this nd u will see u will be able to reply me even though we arent following each other
You are dead right. Indeed i have received and replied mails even on yahoo email. However, even if what the OP said were to be true, it is sickening and childish. That is why it is called PM. Seeking for cheap attention is to say the least very demeaning. To make matters worse, the OP looks cheap and fugly, so what is the idea?

The funniest part is that when there is a close down, many inmates will suffer & die of hardship & hunger
WTF inmates dey use generator set, fridge, gas cooker, oven 4 de kirikiri hell?
The solution is simple. Transfer them to maximum security.

You just reminded me of a culture in my village. If a man cheats on his wife it has no side effect but if a woman cheats (sleeps with another man) then she is as good as dead if she doesn't confess and have the necessary sacrifice done. She go just die like chicken.

We all are hoping and praying for the best sha, nobody wants a cheating partner.
Just like mine. The man immediately starts a downhill slide to put him on enquiry so that the woman is dealt with. But if he the man turns a blind eye, his fortunes will close down and he will die mysteriously. Little wonder some of our ladies forbid to marry from home and we the guys think twice before marrying a non indigene. And yes i am from Arochukwu kingdom.

FrancisTony: Medicine, Pharmacy, Enginneering etc deserves and worth to be over-rated.

But, Law and Economics is fùcking crap. A course that you'll graduate from, and still be living in penury if you want to practise the profession.

Mass Communication/Communication and Language Art still stand out against Law, IMHO.

Smh
Bros your honest opinion is warped. Grow up and you will realize that you should be a lawyer or marry one. I am one and will remain eternally grateful to God for seeing me through and my folks for training me. As for living in penury or affluence, lets leave that for posterity to judge. Suffice it to say that i compete and compare with my contemporaries who are professionals in other spheres.

frankmoney: I.T.k ....there is a course like integrated science education
LOl. OK Sir.

In my academic sojourn, i never saw that course of study. However, it does not in any way change my summation of the efficacy of a first degree.
Education › Re: Most Underrated Courses In Nigerian Universities by hardbody: 6:29pm On Oct 02, 2014
zappyj: How can someone study Integrated science for 4 years in a university?
There is no course or programme of study called 'Integrated Science' in the University. That name is used to amalgamate the basic sciences...Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Agricultural Science....to give fresh students in the Secondary School a general overview of the Sciences to enable them make an informed decision about what science courses they may choose as they progress in their academic sojourn. Students later settle down to a combination of any number of science subjects that lead them into studying courses like Pharmacy, Medicine, Agric Engineering, and all those other Science based courses.

Meanwhile i have said it severally, all degree courses are first steps to greatness. No course is cheap or should be underestimated. The medical student will at some point sweat in the class of History or English Language major. Even the brightest student will need to study hard to pass sociology. More importantly, hardwork and good fortune can place the supposed cheap and underrated graduate several steps ahead of you...

I ask again, how many Bank MDs/CEOs studied banking and finance as a course? it is still all these science related courses that most of them studied, and after passing competitive examinations for all students meant to streamline, they found themselves doing better than some of their contemporaries.

Go to school and put in your best to become the best you can. Simple

Fogman: At the end of the second round of voting, Delta FC chairman Amaju Pinnick has been elected as the new president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

In the first round, Pinnick took the lead with 25 votes, while Taiwo Ogunjobi from Osun polled 9 votes. Dominic Iorfa from Benue State was able to get 6 votes. while Shehu Diko from Kaduna had 4 votes. Amanze Uchegbulam, Imo and Mike Umeh Anambra had no vote.

Pinnick, Iorfa and Ogunjobi then went head-to-head in the second round, to determine the winner of the election via simple majority.

After the second round, Pinnick polled 32 votes, Iorfa got 8 votes, while Ogunjobi had 4 votes.

http://dailypost.ng/2014/09/30/breaking-amaju-pinnick-elected-new-nff-president/
For those that had no votes, does it mean they had no confidence even in themselves to have at least voted themselves? In that case they will have at least a vote each.

Anyways, i do not even know how that shiite works.

Meanwhile another round of wastage and foolery commences shortly.

Shameless country

pelusi: Pls what again should i do to stop my Wife from telling lies?,I need a serious advice pls.I somehow noticed this attitude during the short time we dated before marriage, thinking she will change with time.First year in marriage to second to third, now to our six year, the marriage is still facing lack of trust from my wife. This is somebody that can never tell you the truth no matter how you asked her, unless she noticed that i am 200% sure/ have proof of what i am asking her, then she has no option than to agree. If i start narrating all shocking lies she has exhibited since i got married to her,it will take several pages of this forum.I have sat her down several times and begged her to stop telling lies, she may agree at that moment that she will stop, but not to be.Last time i invited a man of God in house and complained this kind of challenge to him in the presence of my Wife, the man of God counselled us on it,which she accepted that she will work on it and make an amends, yet till today, she is still telling lies.It makes me feel angry and has drastically reduced my love over her.The one she acted yesterday made me to get much annoyed that i told her that since she has made me to loose trust on her since i married her, that today(yesterday),she MUST take an oath for me by holding an object and say some words on it,that ever since she got married to me,that she has NEVER slept with other men.She say she is a Christian and can not swear such. Please what should i do to make my wife to desist from telling lies?,Everybody knows the effect of lack of trust in marriage.Advise Pls!.
The fact she even 'married' you is a lie. You will soon realize she did not marry you in reality. I pity your sorry state

NJUWithOfego: See What A Teacher Is Teaching Kids Because Of The Nigerian Government
--------------- ------------

I was going to see a friend one tuesday morning. Passing by a primary school, I overheard a teacher in a class asking the children, what is 1+1? The children said; ''8''. The teacher said; "Correct". I was amazed at this and stopped. I asked myself, does this teacher know what he is teaching?
