debbie: I am not in support of having BAD roads especially when it is owned by the federal government. But i want to ask what the representatives of those areas are doing? is it to just sit and collect allowances? why blame GEJ solely for the state of those bad roads.Remember the fight that resulted in the completion of onitsha- owerri road,owerri-aba road up to owerri-nta. The umuahia/arochukwu road which is owned by the federal govt, was worked on till you get to ohafia..after which the road is terrible.Simply because we have a lousy representative that refused to stand for his people. The owerri/ph road too is in a bad state, yet whom do we blame? I hate it when people only use political stunts to display their level of understanding.Have you asked those you elected to represent you in the house of senate what the are doing?
The president is not everywhere, yet i am not defending him for his inability to work on those roads. So i expect some wise fellows here to use their God-given wisdom. Some federal roads in the east have been worked on,just because the leaders there spoke and fought for it.....Go and ask those representing you..
I agree with you completely. The stretch from Ohafia to Arochukwu is so terrible that i am not certain we can effectively drive through this December. The Airport cab that took me some 2 weeks back regretted that trip and swore never to go back there no matter the amount staked. The irony of it all is that the Director of Programmes during the PTF era when the road from Umuahia to Ohafia was fixed was an Arochukwu man. THere was even another Arochukwu man on the Board of Trustees. In terms of men of calibre, you count them in tens of dozens. All they do is collect money at the top, do nothing on the roads and fly back to the villa using helicopters. Shame to bad people.
If you like fight and rant, unless you hold your leaders responsible all you do here is display of political stunts. DONT QUOTE ME FOR ANY SILLY COMMENT...YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN |

Bale1: Top 5 Universities And Polytechnics In Nigeria By Graduate Quality
I have seen graduates from many schools in nigeria but I can bet you that graduates from the universities listed below always stand out among their peers in terms of excellent and discipline in their work places.
1.UNN 2. UI 3. OAU 4. UNILORIN 5. COVENANT UNIVERSITY
Also for poly I will say there is just one 1. AUCHI poly No Problem. I did not graduate from those Schools mentioned above neither has my Uni been 'recognized' by the OP. One thing is certain, any graduate trainee seeking for a job after graduating from any of those Universities mentioned must first disown the thrash that has been posted there before he can get the shortlist to come for a written test in my organization. We will then know who is who and who has the power. |

My first degree was not in any of these Unis. Cut off for my program was 295. I scored 298. Jamb sent a list of only 40 names. We graduated with a final total list of about 95. After my first degree, i applied for Masters in Unilag, wrote a qualifying test and came second with 68.7%. I daresay i left unilag with a second degree that added no value to my life. And it is still one of the best universities i am told. Anyways it has been said severally that a child who has not ventured any where believes his father has the largest farm. |

saxywale: Are there no customary courts in Ekiti state The customary court bailiffs and police would have ejected the tenant without problems. The baillif will lose his job and pay part of the fine ditto the police. You all believe that this country is lawless. It may be lawless indeed but there are laws in the books and when properly exploited, the errant person will be brought to his knees. Are you aware that the tenant in the extant case can still appeal the judgement which is in his favour only yo ask that the penalty should be higher? By the time she is done with the landlady it might be another 10 to 15 years before she gets her total freedom on the rubbish action taken by her. |

cole265: Those people hailing the tenant and totally condemning the landlord obviously are equally irresponsible as this wicked tenants. It is simply irresponsibility that will make someone not to make the paying of his or her rent a top priority. This is my dad's style. He pays his house rent before even considering paying our school fees. When he lost his job at a point, the land lord was very considerate and did not border us over a period of two years after we overcame the ordeal and eventually ended up collecting just half of the whole amount and extremely commended my dad to be a very responsible man.
Your mum need an agent. A good one. I had a similar problem sometimes ago. All four of my tenants conspired not to pay for two years after the initial payment when they moved in.+ that they were dirty and vandals. When it became obvious I can't get them to pay or move out, I unfortunately had to go through the stress of contacting a lawyer who served them a court summon. The lawyer used his experience to fast track the process, within three months, the court ordered that they be evacuated forcefully and their vital property worth the cost of rent where seized pending when they are able to pay up. Though I parted with some 75k to the lawyer and police, but the tenants were all disgraced. He made sure the evacuation was sudden. Most of their belongings were destroyed in the process, they had no plans of what to do, because it was too sudden. I was thereafter advised to get an agent and since then, I get my rent in due time or notice of inability to meet up + that the property is well taken care of and maintained. So tell your mum to get a good and trusted house agent and save her self from these set of irresponsible human beings. As you can see from this thread, they are numerous. Uncle, the law is clear about how to evict a defaulting tenant and yet recover your outstanding rent which in law is technically known as mesne profits. Taking the laws into your hand because you are the landlord is callous and irresponsible beyond its illegality. I am a landlord and accord tenants their rights at law without prejudice to my legally recognized rights too |

alentyno: I saw this and a kinda agree with it.
No course studied in the higher institution seems easy, but some are brutal and can snuff life outta you. However, don't get afraid of them. They're actually interesting. So grab a packet of popcorn as I take you through them.
1. Engineering: the name of this course speaks for itself already. The dudes that study this course eh.....*winks*. It undeniably houses all heavy weight courses in engine faculty like chemical engineering, mechanical, production, petroleum...etc..any guy you see rushing to lecture hall with a punching calculator, they're engine boys o.
2.Medicine: What makes this course challenging, is because you'll be forced to read(jack) like your life depends on the degree of knowledge you obtain from their heavy an bulky textbooks. Some of them actually do go for thanksgiving, when they pass their MBBS exam, that contains Anatomy, physiology and biochem.
3.Biochemistry: people usually think that it's a combination of biology and chemistry. If you're one of such, abeg, it's a wrong impression. You will actually get familiar with Bio molecules and giant Organic structures, that will choke you up. This course requires much logic. What makes it challenging,is that you'll have to learn a lot within a short duration. Metabolic pathways might seem frustrating atimes...*winks*. Another thing about this course is that their lecturers are always sadists, due to long years of studying brutal carbohydrate and enzyme structures.
4.Chemistry: I call this course the power, because these dudes can mix chemical concoctions of Ammonia and HCL and blow everywhere...chem guys, I dey joke o....Its actually one of the most difficult in physical science, because you'll make friends with differential equation in physical chemistry, which will leave you wondering if you're studying maths or chemical reactions.
5.Pharmacy: Its already obvious.don't know where to begin with this course. It overlaps critical aspect of chemistry. You hear stuffs like pharmacokinetics, drug metabolisms etc.
6.Architecture: the funny thing about this course is that it sounds cool and friendly, but when you get in,you know that not all that glitters are gold. You'll get familiar with geometric drawings, optics and so on, which atimes is usually a pain to the ass.
Source Another silly post. When a guy has never spent hours studying and reading through to understand concepts and their application believes the field that exists is in the sciences. Please before you start writing and believing anything and everything you read or hear try find out what Economics, Accounting and Law Students go through to get a degree. I have said it severally, there is no cheap course. A core science student is comfortable with theories and formulations and formulae. The Art student would rather thumb through pages and volumes, learn cases and their application together with accompanying precedents. Simple question to the OP. What would life be like if all there existed were science and science related activities only. No music, no movies, no courts, judges, accountants, economists even historians. Please desist forthwith from saying things that portray you as a baboon. |

Dt can only happen in naija hence we seek nigerian solution to nigerian problems Bros God bless your thinking. I had a real life experience not quite long ago. As a personal principle, i stay back in the island everyday to wait for traffic to subside before i hit the road either driving alone on fridays or driven by my driver on weekdays. This day i was coming off osborne to hit 3mb and it was past 10pm. The guy ahead of me screeched abruptly and while i was swerving to overtake him, i noticed he had hit a guy and the guy was raised off the floor, tumbled over across his car and fell on my side as i was trying to overtake, instinctively i manouvered the best i could but the the guys legs came under my tyres. Sad to say in that brief second there was no option other than to either crush the guy, who i knew would not survive the fall, hit the kerb and maybe somersault or hit a part of him. In a twinle of an eye, i had run through an extended leg and i moved on. Looking back, i saw the driver ahead of me had parked and those robbers came out and smashed his glasses and were stabbing him all over. I knew instinctively that they were planning to rob him but he had not stopped instead he hit one of them and in anger they were stabbing him all over. I did not need a reason or encouragement to rev up and move on. Did i have to wait, no. I wont be here typing. Should i have stopped at alapere to report, by now i might still be in detention explaining. I rationalized what they were doing on the express at that time of the day. The prinviple is love ur neighbour as urself not more than yourself. Enough said. |

Where is our second Niger bridge? Its not a vibration. The hydraulic joints are the things that move like shock absorbers. It even happens on third mainland bridge when there is heavy traffic. That is not to say that the need for another bridge is jot critical. Meanwhile i have since stopped using that road. I fly to owerri and then move on. The traffic on the stretch is if anything, gruelling. |

ikevin: The world governing body overseeing association football around the world FIFA, has threatened to ban Nigeria from association football until her next congress which would hold next year May. This is as a result of the court verdict last week that ousted the new board of NFF led by Amaju Pinnick, the verdict was pursued by Chris Giwa who seems hell bent on becoming the head of football association in Nigeria. The immediate consequence of this decision is that, Nigeria would not be allowed to play the rest of her matches to contest for slots in the proposed AFCON next year which in itself is having issues due to ebola virus disease. The head of CAF claimed that FIFA almost truncated Nigeria's falcons from playing against Cameroon on saturday which we won, but had to plead with FIFA to allow the game go as scheduled and drop the hammer the incoming week which is today. The court case and decision must be withdrawn today to avoid FIFA's hammer. This gragra don too much. Make dem ban us lets see whether we will die. What nonesense is all this sef? Na only Nigeria waka come FIFA? They should ban us if not shame on them. And even when them ban us, if they unban us, still shame on them. FIFA una papa for dia.. |

Yekini was a good scorer and had a knack for it but he was skill-less and couldn't quite ever work out a goal let alone produce assists. Kanu although he was not knocking in goals scored brilliant goals arising from uncanny sense of ball juggling. Please review his equalizer with brazil during d olympics and notice how he raised the ball in a goal mouth melee before blasting away. As for yekini scoring our first wc goal, even my grandmother will not miss that pin point cross.
He was scoring goals fed him by others. He tried though but was very dumb at constructing a goal. |

However Americans in their radical nomenclature come up with different styles meaning the same thing and that is where you see such things as D.Sc. |

You obtain Doctorate and then over time with serious academic input, you are recognized as a Professor The above leaves us with B.Sc and Ph.d. Master as stated there is not a degree, much as Masters degree exist as Post-graduate degrees, it must be qualified, eg, LL.M, M.Sc, etc In summation, the most critical degree in the write-up is B.Sc. It is a step towards achieving all those other degrees as intended to be communicated by OP. |
