Its not about being in 9ja or in the western world that matters, truth is information sent into the super highway becomes public information sometime someday. If people are naive to know that, it is perhaps more of exposure and rationality. I had never pretended not to know that it will get to this sooner or later. I have taken precautionary moves which most interpreted to mean being secretive, but i prefer to be secretive than have my dossier accessed by intruders. This is just Facebook that we are borthered about, all those other sites will someday soon, come up with similar sinister initiatives. Recall, at the point of registration, they get to you sign off on all your rights relating to most, if not all legal liabilities and indeed you agree to indemnify them against some other rights and/or obligations which have appeared too lengthy for you to read and comprehend before signing off. What a shame. |
THis is bad news, the helicopter should go up again and complete the mission. At least for the sake of Gbenga ![]() |
Re: Worst Bank In Nigeria « #47 on: Today at 04:53:51 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you bank with GTBank, try using internet banking and token (which goes for N3k), this enables you do most of your banking transactions online saving lots of time and energy. With Internet banking, you may never have to visit a bank branch except if you want to withdraw cash. I concur and this has made my life beautifully wonderful and easy. |
Guys, I am kind of surprised at teh names you guys are mentioning. Are those institutions banks? I will never be found dead (or alive) in any of those institutions (i maintain they are not banks in the strict sense of the word), with the exception of GTB though. GTB sucked me in when they opened my account with no cash deposit and i walked away with their mastercard almost immediately i concluded the account opening process. I think they just got overwhelmed with crowd pull when the rest of the banks (or at least most of them including almight Union) were declared near dead or comatose. I am yetto have a problem with them anyways, and when i do, i trust myself to bring down the branch so fast that they will do the needful. Stanbic, and Stanchart are also good banks. Anyone has a dossier or an experience with Finbank? |
Silly title, bad lie, Never happened, stop posting junk. I.DI.OT. |
@ Biscuite I suspect you. No one should allow you within miles of that boy. You are female by description and male by your pic. where is this confusion coming from? |
Bash Ali did not need to be evacuated, he is in top form and could have jabbed his way out of trouble in Libya and because he is very fit, he will run 'across countries' into Nigeria, maybe we will pick him at Tchad/Bornu border or Sokoto. ![]() |
if that kid was so smart, why would he give out his father's personal details to complete strangers. I would have skinned him alive. But then, its not possible, 'i no fit beget that kind pikin sef' mcheeeeewwwwwwww. |
Lets take whatever stepS needs to be taken to bring our own out of Libya, if that engenders a war, lets send the northerner and the fulanis to og and execute the war and perhaps there will be some spaces in d Nigerian militar foLlowing the killings of Nigierian superior officers so that younger and brighter brains will be recruited into th Nigerian Armys |
This guy wowo no be small. See the dark mark on his forehead where he has been bangin' the hard concrete at least 5 times a day. I am sure they will pay something substantial for his release and they will announce to the public that they negotiated his freedom without paying a dime, and yes, the payment will be made with government money, i assure you. |
Re: Rats: How Do I Get Rid Of These Rats! « #38 on: Today at 12:32:33 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What about the option of not having to buy meat, chicken or fish again, and eating your uninvited visitors, all in the name of bushmeat !!!! Yum Yum Yum !!! Lol. Indocid really works and is not poisonous to humans. The only challenge is that after a while, those rats get the sense that their meals are being poisoned and they will start avoiding your indocid. And i have heard that they crowd out cats when they have grown big and more numerous. Generally, i do not envy your situation, the Lord is your strength. ![]() |
@Herach That comment is ridiculously funny and rather shallow. Travelling to the west either because you wish to go on vacation or perhaps your company is sponsoring a training programme are basically enough exposures if you were willing to have a first hand knowledge of what good infrastructure and perhaps good governance entails. I think the reasoning here is permanent relocation against staying back in Nigeria and salvaging Her. My views remain sacrosanct. I stay here and make my living here. Nigeria is my comfort zone, i admit. I do not begrudge or blame whosoever decides to relocate permanently, but let us respect each other's views and perceptions. My first UK visa ever was for 2 years. I applied because people were making it sound like an impossibility to obtain, when i got it, i let it lie in my drawer in the office until it expired. I reapplied when i was told the British will not accede me that 'favour' anymore. I got another 2 years and had since been using and renewing that, plus US Visa which i felt was an icing. My point? when people choose to stay here (at least some peole), it is not out of an inability to travel out and stay out, it may perhaps be a choice that is being exercised, let's just respect it. When those of you who are making the mega bucks from 'away' come back, we all seat around and compare notes and when the dust settles finally, we always end up standing toe to toe both in achievements and the strength of the pocket. Enough said!!! |
@POSTER This is a faulty generalization. Some years back, i thought up the idea of relocating and had done so much with the Immigration office in Ghana (for Canada), but i changed my mind subsequently. Truth is, apart from better infrastructure and good governance, there is no reason under the sun why i would want to leave the comfort of this country i have known all my life. There is crime everywhere, Lagos, SA, US, UK, its all about your God and you taking necessary precautionary measures (one of our own in this NL was recently shot and killed and that happened outside Nigeria), there is unemployment in both climes (9ja and the western world), avarice, cupidity name them, all of these cut across all the continents. One thing i find difficult to sacrifice, is the fact that i know these grounds so very much and can tap into opportunities as they come up. Having said that, i appreciate that some people might not just be able to make it here, so they opt to find greener foliage outside the shores of our land, i also wish them well. As for me and my household, i buy my house for us, regulate my light with gensets and inverters, i provide my water via my borehole, i cant do much about the traffic situation and our roads, but dude, I stay HERE. Ocassionally when i think it has become necessary, i come over to you guys and spend some 2 weeks, thereafter i am back to where i know how best to survive, Lagos in Nigeria. One thing though, when the kids wanna have a choice of to be here or not to be here, be assured that they will get massive support to go wherever they choose to, until then, please note that NOT everybody in Nigeria wants to travel out. No. |
O ma ga oooo. I do not believe this poster. He/She is only trying to 'finger' people's brain, and honestly to that extent, He/she has succeeded massively. Guys keep on writing in, He/she is having a ball on your lil' brains. |
I just looked at the pic attached, that hotel does not appear to befit decent people (going by what i have just seen from the pic). It is a step i take whenever i am staying in any of these hotels to ensure that the level of security, environment and all other trappings do not expose me to neighbourhood hoodlums. As a personal principle, i dont stay un any hotel outside V/I. It may not be robbery-proof, but its still the safest part of town, of course aside my house where i provide my personal security outfit. She should be advised to step up, if she claims to be a celeb, then she should toe steps befitting that status. joints in dark neighbourhoods dont show that she is indeed a celeb, besides, words could easily go round in such close neighbourhoods that 'cash madam' has arrived and its a matter of minutes before the attack plan is concluded against an H-Hour. Still a pity though. I liked her Jenifa film, it was a great comic relief when i watched it. |
@aboly You pair me on 19th. buzz me up on hard_body99@yahoo.com (mail addy and messenger id) |
@Winners, 2 things You are supposedly in far away Kaduna, i need to make contact with whoever i am dealing with. I reside here in the west. Secondly, u left no contact number, would you rather call me? |
Nice one. My take on these issues is just that if you have enough money, best to buy a completed property and move in immediately to secure your possession. reading all these things are really scary, i am thankful to God that i did not experience any of these while i was fixing my bricks and mortar, to think that the land was fallow for upwards of 3years while i was away. In addition to what the poster said, nothing works like neighbourhood search in addition to the other steps he outlined. Independent enquiries from neighbours in and around the land reveals a lot especially when u coduct that search in cognito. |
Am proud to be the only 19th March. Not a very popular date btw, I havent seen any other person of that date. Am i not very special. Love u all. |
Lol, I will have to re-engage with my folks to confirm my 19th March date. I seem to be the only one born on that date, I hope they are right sha, after all, i have no other way of verifying independently. Anyhow, am good to go with all other March folks, and am up for any get togethers of zodiac like minds. BTW ma mail addy remains hard_body99 at yahoo dot com . Same goes for ma chat addy. |
Peeps, I am not so keen on this online businesses, i guess because i am not exactly what you might call 'internet savvy'. However, i am interested in learning how to do this airtime (recharge card) printing business. I do have the capital to purchase the machines and set up the structure, i just need to know where i can go and learn the job and perhaps the dynamics that go with it. Any one with an idea should buzz me up. Needless to say, I am a hard-nosed business minded person, so charlatans seeking for a window to dupe or scam need not waste their time on me. I however appreciate all genuine help. |

Does any one has any insight as to how good and proficient this Academy is on the training of Customer Service Executives. Besides, is their certification recognized by employers within the country? I am interested and would love a feed back. |
This is really sad and unfortunate. I strongly believe the Government should help them, but, if i may ask, were the adults paying tax? otherwise where would government be getting the help money from? just an innocent question. |
