Sports › Re: Fifa Slams Nigeria's Uche For Homophobia by hardbody: 6:19pm On Jun 30, 2011
Were these girls picked to represent Nigeria on the basis of their individual sexuality? As a person, i dislike same sex relationships, but hey, if they are not affected in delivering results, why should i be bothered about their sexuality. As long as they have not created scenes or embarrassed the country, why should i care? My interest in them is to see them play good football, what they do after and outside the field is absolutely their wahala. They individually have inalienable rights to practise what they think best as long as it doesnt affect my rights as well. Is homosexuality and lesbianism the real issue bedevilling this country? Would you say because bank OLE is sexually straight he is not a criminal? We are always chasing after shadows and leaving the substance behind. Let those gals sleep with themselves till they turn pink, so long as they print the name of Nigeria indelibly in the soccer books of FIFA WOMEN CHAMPIONSHIP. My Opinion anyways

She should go and serve her period in Bornu. Maybe working closely with Boko Haram. After her service she can resume 'ministerialship'. I think there is something called 'Study leave', or better still, 'ministerial leave'. But I do sincerely hope she survives the Bokohites. grin grin grin

Ask your elder sisters about Mills and Boon. The male characters in that series depict your exact heart desires when it comes to finding a man to date. Look beyond the shadow gurl, the substance is the most important.

and BTW, all these other guys that are NOW coming out to identify with this poster, would they claim ignorance of this position that the poster has brought to our attention, or they would rather sheepishly continue to defend the muderous craze of their brethren all in the name of religion. I do not care how literate or educated you all are, as muslims, i have a total hatred for you all, not because you are humans, but because you all are moslems and are trained to believe that human life does not amount to anything. Anything else said by you guys is balderdas.h and simply after the fact.

Beautiful Post, wonderful narration, incisive view point, so when are we eventually going our different ways? That alone is the answer to various other Akaluka sagas that are in the pipe line. I have said it severally that left for me alone, there wouldnt even be a need to separate as a nation, i have never stepped, i will never step and will ensure that non of mine steps their foot in the northern enclave. Okay, I admit i went for a matter twice in Sokoto but that was it, it wount happen again since i have realized that these Northern people (they are not my brothers) are terribly callous and do not value human life. I ask again, WHEN ARE WE GOING OUR SEPARATE WAYS OOOOOOO, I DON TIRE FOR THIS COMPLICATED MARRIAGE

Most of you guys have spoken well. The average black man is just subservient. And as had been observed elsewhere in this post, i have watched with dismay at the airport where fellow black guys were quick to attend to a white fwool and give him recognition ahead of my fellow black men, and this was happening here at the MM International Airport. Individually, those black downtrodden guys in Warri may not be able to take their employers on, but what happened to collective efforts? Could they not agree to go on a rampage against those Pharoahs lording it over them? It is sickening to read such stories and what is more, when it happens in my very presence i get real mad. I recall being caught in traffic someday along Ajose Adeogun, while meandering to find my way onto the major street ( i recall i was coming out from Younis Bashorun), one guy (white) came out of his car to shout at me for 'supposedly' blocking the road. As if that was not enough, he walked back to his car and picked his phone to make a call to whoever in tripple hell he wanted to call, Gawwwd!!!, the scene i created thereafter is still fresh in my mind. I walked over to his car, told him in plain english that he is not just in Nigeria, but in Lagos, and that i had the good mind to beat him black and blue, unfortunately some some area boys were around and dropped some coins for them to molest the guy, he abandoned his car and ran into Zenith Bank building, of course i moved on with regret that if it had happened where we had less prying eyes, i would have racked that guy and obtained him on top. Bottom line, dont be scared by these half baked guys, we are the fully baked and brownish guys, wherever they want it, get down dirty with them and beat the hell out of them, often times, they really have nothing to show beyond their supposed colour advantage whic to me is indeed a disadvantage. What with all those dots that come over their pale flesh as they grow older. Imp-ish Eediets.

Properties › Re: The Real Cost Of Building A Six Bedroom Duplex by hardbody: 11:05am On Jun 20, 2011
Hey guys,

I have a bit of an issue on the way forward on teh attached plans. the ground plan was already made and i brought in another architect who prepared this reworked plan. His argument is that the corridor through the middle porch is rather wide and he could take off some portion from the living room and come up with a visitors toilet. Secondly, he has tried severally to convince me that the toilet upstairs should align with the one he wants to create downstairs. my challenge is that the deck has already been concluded and buying into his argument will mean demolishing aspects of my structure and re-piping the electricals. However, i want the best for the house although i will very likely use it once in a year. can someone tell me whether the suggestions make sense or should i just stick to the original plan?

Politics › Re: Bankole And Nafada Granted Bail In The Sum Of N500m by hardbody: 1:29pm On Jun 17, 2011
Hey Guys,

This is a country of rule of law. The offence for which the man is being suspected to have committed is a bailable offence and all he need prove (through his lawyer) is that he will not jump bail and will not jeopardize the course of investigation, he should not be denied bail thereafter. Shoudn't the state on the other hand have contested vigourously that bail should not be granted him as he is likely to do all the above and more? It is not the judiciary that you guys should blame, all rulings and judgments of the courts are grounded on the laws of these country made in the first place by the legislature and not the judges.

Having said that, i think we should take a social approach to deal with these guys that are fleecing us daily. THey will always find a loophole in the law to escape, (in recent times it is plea bargain) so why dont we deal with them the way they deal with thiefs in the rural communities. I am not suggesting jungle justice ooo wink
Properties › Re: Is It Financially Wise To Have Your Own Home? by hardbody: 1:43pm On Jun 16, 2011
@ Poster

The answer to this poser is too basic and elementary. assume for purposes of discussion that you built your home for N10m (land inclusive), if you were paying N500k flat on the same property per annum to a landlord, it will take 20yrs to pay down. Meanwhile, after the property is erected, every money that should have gone towards accommodation gets saved up or invested, assume u save the same amount of N500k per annum, u would have your N10m back in 20 yrs plus peace of mind, plus the property that could then be sold at about N100m, plus interests arising from savings or profits coming in from investing and do not forget, landlords increase rents virtually every year so the calculations here may not even hold as this is done in straight line basis. Paying of out-goings like rates are no big deals after all even as a tenant you pay tenement rates, water and light bills. These, in addition to points earlier made about eventualities are more than enough proof that ownership of a personal house is non-negotiable. Lastline, build where u stay and make money before building another one in your village.

They should argue from the equitable position that you cannot approbate and reprobate. The US government cannot blow hot and cold the same time. They have been made to change their positions by the preliminary announcement and communication that they have won the lottery. Consequent upon this, they resigned their lucrative jobs, sold their houses and cars and took all other necessary steps preparatory to leaving their shores and the sudden change in deceision has brought them so much untold hardship and they seek for specific performance. This is an open and close case, they will all be called in again for the interview. AND THEN THEY WILL ALL FAIL TO BE SELECTED. Case closed.
Politics › Re: CBN May Liquidate Some of These Banks By September: What To Do? by hardbody: 6:02pm On Jun 09, 2011
I think i am losing it, wasnt there this story i read about Capital Alliance Nigeria Limited (Private equity investors) having bought over Union Bank? As for the rest of the mentioned banks, their unstability had never been in doubt. I recall that when their sole administrators were first appointed (or whatever in double hell they call their salvaging MDs), those guys (and the lady)ies)) amongst them commenced another round of spending spree until somwone somewhere squawked.

As i speak i dont really know what their states are, but one thing is certain, they are all struggling and any purported turn around is basically what it is- paper profit.

As for me ooo, na only one bank i believe in, but i no go mention them name here. My savings, current, Dom, Corporate, etc na them get am for now.

Just a puzzling thought though, are these guys still preaching 'the heavenly bound hope'? if yes, are they planning on jetting to heaven and taking all these glitz with them shocked. What was it again about building up treasures in heaven where whatever it is cannot eat them up. Me i no sabi book ooo, but something tells me that being stupe.ndously rich amidst abject poverty would not depict what Jesus would have done. Paul teh apostle did not spend all his time acquiring wealth, when last i checked, he dropped off from making mega bucks as a lawyer trained under Gamaliel to make three horrible trips in the course of saving souls and the holy books says he was a tent weaver with Acquilah and Priscilla.

However, Na dem sabi. If them see my N1.00 make them sabi say i be craze man. The rest, i leave for history and those who are led and will further be led by the nose. hbabe, i no mention ya name ooo tongue
