OsunOriginal: Many interesting events are unfolding as the Buhari regime winds down. In his last year in office, Buhari is embarking on 3 resource-intensive and money-gulping activities - general elections, Census, and then Naira redesign. I was initially wondering why Buhari decided to pack all of these programs together for execution in his last year in office. Being an ex-Buharist, I was providing answers to those probing questions that were flowing through my mind. For the census, my answer was maybe he wanted to prepare the ground for the incoming government with up-to-date data for planning. etc.
Today, I regret ever being a Buharist. Our once beloved Buhari has been turned against the country and the people who put in power. As the elections approached, the exchange rate sky-rocketed, pushing the prices of basic commodities beyond the reach of the poor. As if that was not enough, petrol became a very scarce commodity across the country. The Buhari government and the cabal controlling him didn't even deem it necessary to address the country or explain to us why Nigerians are going through hardship and when the hardship will stop.
As this was going on, Buhari and his cabal decided to introduce a currency redesign which initially we thought was good but it is now clear Buhari has a different agenda. Buhari himself may not be aware of this agenda but definitely, the cabal knows what the agenda is, which is to plunge the country into a state of anarchy before the election and probably give this as the reason for postponing the general election. The new naira is not available and the same people who have failed to make the new naira available are threatening to stop recognizing the old naira notes as legal tender. What do we call this?
Today, we don't have fuel, we don't have dollars, and the once valueless Naira is now like gold in the hands of traders and the unscrupulous people managing our banks. What else does anybody need to push people into violent protests? What else, does anybody need to ensure all the planned programs (election, census, naira redesign) fail?
I am beginning to think the cabal around Bahuri is probably planning a tenor elongation. If not, why and when did Tinubu become an enemy of the same government he helped win elections? These people know Tinubu wants to be president and he is not someone that can be pushed around. So, their plan was to get him out of the way at the primaries which unfortunately for them failed. Now, they are coming out with their next strategies which include making life unbearable for Nigerians and hoping it would lead to violent protests across the country.
The issue is, Tinubu may not be their target. Their target is to hold on to power and whoever is doing anything to jeopardize that plan is an enemy.
May Buhari not bring the country to its knees before Feb 25th. DSS will be reaching out to you later tonight. Your location has be mapped. |

tundeabib1: I don't know when some myopic citizens of this country will gather some senses and see beyond their nose. There should be a concerted efforts to restle power from the oligarchy Fulanis who want infinite loop of presidency arrogated to themselves only. Why should the president prefer someone else instead of Tinubu who fought tooth and nail to enthron him. This an absolute act of ingratitude. We all should support Tinubu in this course. What is people's grouse against him self? It is pertinent that he dissociate himself from the current woes we call government of the day. You don't expect him to campaign citing achievements of his party when it is obvious that for better parts of their tenure, he was a persona non grata. They kept him at bay. From the perspective of all 3 prominent gladiators, the best "thief" is still Tinubu. He has the ability to assemble a formidable team to move Nigeria forward or aren't we all tired of this nonsense? I am not an APC member or an ally of anyone who is a member. I am just taking a critical analysis of the precarious situation we are in. As for Obi, he may turn out to be the biggest disappointment. I don't know why the hues and cries about him from some quarters especially the youths. If truly there's someone they think will revolutionize and turn things their way, they should have considered the personalities of Sowore or Adebowle and host of others whom they have relegated to be the third class contestants. Obi is still part of the lugubrios old school. As far as I'm concerned, he's being hyped. I have not seen any plausible antecedence from the quarters he governed. The Igbos or any other tribes did not relocate to Anambra in pursuit of the supposed Eldorado or Oasis he conjured then. Moreso, the same people who applaud him now for being stingy will turn the table against him when contracts are not rolled out their ways. Be wise folks. It is just my own piece of postulations. Even though you weren't making much sense in your narrative, you completely derailed when you asked why Igbos are not relocating to Anambra. Let me ask you, was Abuja this popular before it became the capital? Lagos had been the capital of Nigeria witnessing various tax supports and investments before that Iragbiji old man mounted the stable. Do you expect Anambra to have grown at the same rate as Lagos in just 8 years, Nd don't even feed me that BS about revenue generation, discuss that with Alpha Beta and come back to tell me the owner. The truth is, I agree with you that none of the 3 core candidates really cut it, but outside Obi I think any of the other conte ders might as well take the reins. Certainly neither Atiku nor Bola deserves this. They have stolen enough and committed enough internal crimes against Nigerians. |

FromZeroToHero: According to section 5 subsection 4 of the 1999 constitution as amended.
The vice president should act as the president and senate president when the president and the senate president are not around.
So there was a time Obasanjo travelled with Anyim Pius for an official assignment in London.
So Atiku automatically became the acting President and Senate president.

Othniel4mi: Fellow Nigerians. I need help because I don't want to be terminated from my new job.
I resigned after working for the previous company for 3 years for the following reasons: 1. No benefits except HMO 2. Only your salary 3. Performance commission not paid 4. I was doing job of 4 people without appreciation. I have to do it to keep feeding my family.
I got another job after 7months I have resigned properly from the previous company.
The previous company has sued me to court with my new company. My New company doesn't want to let terminate my employment with them because I am the operations manager and I have the business knowledge.
Myself and 1 Lebanese man started the previous company in 2018 in Nigeria before the company became big. I have full knowledge and my new company is now a big treat to them. I believe because of this they sued us to court.
My new company doesn't have enough money to pay lawyer we consulted.
The previous company said I have signed a letter that stated that I cannot work on same field for 3 years. When I checked their claim, they didn't write that I cannot work on same field for 3 years AFTER TERMINATION (Please check the attached document).
I know if I go to court with them i will win this case. How can a company said i shouldn't use my skills to work in another company.
In the previous company they didn't do any training for me, the only in house training was the onboarding training for 2 days and after that no training cost invested on me and no any form of performance benefits paid.
Now I got another job, the previous company is trenthening my new company to terminate my job. Now we need to go to court and they claimed 20M for damages.
Fellow Nigerians what can I do to this Lebanese company that want to deprive me of my right in my own precious Nigeria where I dey hustle to feed family and make it in life.
Please what can I do 😂.
Kindly check the attached document they said I signed, of which it was signed after like 8months of starting with the previous company.
We didn't have HR when we started in 2018, I was the one that recommended the HR through a friend from my Church. The HR is the one persecuting me and acting as a witness in court against me.
I wish I didn't help her to get the job.
Please help. I did not have the patience to read through your attachment but on the face of it I can assure you that a. This is an agreement in restraint of trade b. The courts will interpret it fairly (you are the weaker party here, trust me) c. Three (3) years in restraint is long, unconscionable and unreasonable. Any and every court will set it aside. d. Try your level best to retain a solicitor, your case will definitely be in your favour. You could also look for something to counter-claim on, so that even when their matter is thrown out, you may end up with damages in your favour. All the best. |

There should be a consequence for wrongdoing in this country. INEC says it's too overwhelmed to punish electoral offenders.
