uruba23:Yes oo. The government is doing a great job of safe guarding Nigerian livelihood oo. In fact unemployment is raising and we are slipping into more poverty. You speak so much sense ![]() |
uruba23:So laws that are meant for all shouldn’t apply to some people yeah? I hear you. |
uruba23:Lol @ job loss in that sector. Joke of the year. Doyou even know over 25 million people are unemployed in Nigeria. How many people is Dangote employing compared to the cumulative number of people in all the companies that were refused this waiver. Facts and figures. You can see who is biased here lol. By your comments, You are a member of the public supporting the Government’s nepotism, favoritism and the further impoverishment of Nigerians through ill begotten policies. You are worse than a cabinet member in President Buhari's government. |
uruba23:Re-read your own comment. Injustice is happening in front of your very eyes and this all you have to say. Lol @ no evidence, when the policy to cripple peter so paul can run is evidence in itself. ...like i said you have eyes but you have refused to see. God help you. |
uruba23:Interesting I didn’t know export is so good for the economy, if its not favoritism why was every other company not given this waiver . Is it not what this elder stateman is talking about?Joker ![]() |
uruba23:You obviously don’t know anything. What does exchange rate have to do with cement being produced in our own country. If you even taking about exchange rate cement should be the cheapest in Nigeria when you convert each country’s price of cement to Naira. Again People like you are the problem of Nigeria, you have eyes that refuse, yes you refuse to see. You see black and say its white. You better wake up. |
When I say Dangote is bad for Nigeria’s economical progress some people would think it is out of spite. You have no idea how terrible Dangote industry is, it’s bleeding Nigeria (CSR Dangote provides is almost negligible compared to how much he has gained/gaining). Not that his company even pay its Nigerian staff well, it’s pushing our people further into poverty. Cc: Uruba23 |
Amotolongbo:Sister God bless you for this post. Amen. Cc: Uruba23 |
uruba23:The items that were banned, is Dangote (and some other well connected people) not still importing them to run his (their) factories? Has banning them and giving importation rights to Dangote solved our problems, or it just pouring money into one man’s pocket at the expense of all others further dragging the Nation into poverty.
|
uruba23:What is this man writing, is it not artificial high barrier created for him via government policies. So many products that were ban just for Dangote, yes I said it “Just for Dangote”. It would make you wonder how the government is benefiting from Dangote for such to be done for him. Is this what you are supporting, what rubbish business acumen. Like i said it cause of people like you that Nigeria is not progressing. The way US Congress grills Facebook you wouldn’t think that he is committing espionage. That is a country that works, they are doing the same things that made their country to be where they are. When Nigerians are not mindful, little actions like you supporting what should obviously be frowned upon that is what is dragging and would continue to drag us further into mire of backwardness. |
uruba23:You don’t get it, the current existence of Dangote is an irredeemable mistake. If there was no Dangote at all, do you know how many more business would strive. Healthy competition, nature abhors vacuum, so many companies would have sprung up (in their place now we have a single Dangote) cement price for one won’t be this high in Nigeria. How did Dangote industries become so grounded in Nigeria; Political Power which he used shameless against his competitors https://nairametrics.com/2018/08/25/cement-wars-the-battle-for-cement-dominance-between-ibeto-vs-dangote/ If not for Nigeria’s greedy and thieving politicians, it’s the companies that provide the most value to the market (people) that come on top and that is definitely not Dangote! |
onyechez:Don’t waste your time with this guy, it is getting obvious his brain is lacking grey matter |
[s] uruba23:[/s] Is the GDP of Nigeria and Benin republic the same? And how WTF does this rubbish you wrote justify the fact that Dangote has tax holidays and his products are even the most expensive in Nigeria. In a saner climate Dangote would be sanctioned for wicked and terrible business practices. Is he your Uncle? Cuz i see no reason for your to come here and be calling black “white”. |
uruba23:First of all, learn how to read a sentence for better understanding. The word “technically” was there before your eyes, if you don’t know why i used it never mind. Two, it’s obvious you didn’t study Economics or anything related in any level of your education. You guys don’t know anything you just come online and support absolutely nonsense ![]() Dangote is stumbling block to the growth and progress of Nigeria! I don’t even need to explain further to you.
|
uruba23:Largest employer of labour?? I have friends in Dangote, low low salaries, poor working conditions, there even things I don’t want to mention. Oga stop encouraging what should be discouraged that is why Nigeria is not progressing. |
MrTAnonymous:Number 2 cannot be louded enough. Some people don’t even know sexual compatibility is a thing. Marry someone with the same sexual energy as you. She/He always making excuses when it comes to sexual leave him/her find your type. These are early warning signs, if you like ignore and take it up a notch to marriage; it would surely end in tears... Devil would punish you when you start beating her because she no give you chop, like you were blind before abi. @Op one cold bottle of stout for you jare. Just ignore the ones that would come and rant nonsense, like they no dey see the way divorce-rate dey sky rocket.
|
uruba23:Osheyy Voltron defender of the rich. It’s cause of people like you that Dangote has leeway to impoverish the people naa. |
TecM0:I have said it time and time again Nigeria’s economy would be far better if we never had Dangote. His impact is so negligible compared to revenue he has been siphoning from Nigeria through political buhaha. Across his African market the price of cement is the highest in Nigeria where he is technically a monopoly. Just wait till he is done with his refinery then you guys would start paying for fuel through your noses. |
ogohiochola:Remind him of the vow “....till death do us part”. Didn’t they have a period of courtship, for him to realize beyond her looks he feels nothing for her ![]() Before you get married to “him” or “her” I’d advise you co-habit for atleast three months. She/he is dirty, she/he is not interesting, she/he is always making excuses not to have sex, you feel nothing for ‘em .... Oga, Madam know so you can leave that relationship! Marriage is a life time commitment.
|
Shortyy:Proverbs 15:1 - "A soft answer turns away wrath...” God knows if a woman has wisdom no man would descend on her. ....Of cause I would be asking the Good Lord for more wisdom. It is the principle thing ![]() |
Shortyy:So the your conclusion is that this particular man is highly irrational and his wife have no fault and she is justified in not performing her wifely duties by always not being in the mood, I hear you ![]() Please remember to pray before you go to bed, ask for wisdom and commit your marriage into God’s hands (that is if you want to get married). |
Shortyy:Where is the place of wisdom and compromise in what you wrote. You are not in the mood (which you concluded yourself without any concern for your husband), fine. I don’t know what actually went down in this incidence but we both would agree this man would be a mad man to beat his wife for being not in mood at one time, just once in years. Let’s take a wild guess. How many times do you think she wasn’t in the mood for this man to lose his cool and descend on her. Again I don’t support wife-beating but its clear this woman is not blameless. If you are not in the mood, what about compromise. There are other ways to appease your husband. Do you think the husband is always in the mood to pay schools, leave money for this and that or do this and that? (Assuming this man does). The same way it goes for a woman not being in the mood, it also applies to a man. Do you know how many men haven’t been in the mood to have sex with their wives for years. How do you think these women feel? Girl: wisdom, understanding and compromise. |
Shortyy:Again for the Umpteen time I don’t support any man beating his wife. It just goes to confirm you say things like communication (cause it sounds nice) while you yourself you don’t listen. You don’t practice what you preach. You were given statistics & religion but you choose the discredit the importance of sex with “sex is not food” its say alot about you. You are intrinsically selfish, marriage is about two people (common interest, compromise) not only yourself. Please don’t consider getting married if you think everything has to be to your timing or at your whine, you would add to the statistics of bad marriage. “Sex is not food” do you know how many women are in sexless marriages, desperate, demoralized and unhappy. Again I am telling you this is not battle of the sexes. Check yourself. |
Shortyy:@Bolded right now you are just being emotional and its affecting your objectivity. First I brought in facts (statistics) and if statistics is not enough for you I also brought in religion. You want to leave God and His word out of this aspect of your life, Fine. However I would advise you to listen to statistics; may it not end in tears. Don’t turn this to the war of the sexes and judge the matter at hand appropriately. He is wrong for beating her but is denying him sex an appropriate action. - - - while I was young no matter what offense you committed, in my house you always get your perfect yummy 3 square meals and even more as you require it. Yes, You would definitely eat it amidst your hot tears; Oneday I committed a notable offense househelp’s judgment was that I wasn’t going to eat, mom got back and was furious. In her words “starving a child should never be considered as a form of punishment”. Apply this analogy. - - - You talk about listening, forgiving, caring and being attentive (to you did the woman practice any of these) If this woman loved her husband like she ought in obedience to God like you are saying would she be denying her husband sex contrary to the words of the same God? |
Shortyy:You talk about communication but if you read my epistle you would see where i mentioned these things: communication, understanding.... it obvious you yourself don’t practice what you are preaching. @FirstBolded. Sister stop assuming, stop jumping into unintelligent conclusions. Did she tell you she tried talking to her husband... Women are so special that with a little wisdom they can subtly control even the crudest man. Sadly many lack wisdom nowadays. @TheSecondBolded: No man should ever raise his hands on his wife. But how do you know this man hasn’t tried to talk sense to his wife. Lets face man beating his wife (which I don’t ever support) is either given to anger or at the end of his wits. World’s statistics tells you sex is the most “importantest” matter, Religion tells you same, yet you choose to downplay it; if it’s not ignorance I don’t know what it is. What you call epistle is essential and the wise would see and adhere. If the bible can dedicate verses upon verses on top the matter don’t you think it would be important or are you wiser than the Spirit of God that inspired these verses. |
nwaezeemmanuel:Nwaeze Emmanuel, most times i think you write to look good in face of the world. You are hardly ever objective. (I don’t even know why someone would put up his first name and surname on a faceless forum to start with). First and foremost. Get this right, I am not in support of the man beating his wife. Secondly, sex is an integral part of marriage. #Fact - Number 1 of top 3 reasons most marriages fail - sex. When you say there is more meaning to life i want to believe you are talking as a single. Even the bible recognizes the sexual needs of a single man: 1 Corinthans 1:7:9 - Man wey no fit hold body, make hin go marry. . Except you are now holier than the holy book I don’t understand the things you are spilling here. As much as I blame the man I also blame the woman for lacking wisdom (well I blame the man for marrying her too - I would get back to this point). She is not blameless, marriage is about understanding, communication and the most underrate - reciprocity. Make exceptions for the one you love, she would not always be in the mood, the man won’t always be in the mood, but with understanding and love each is meant to perform their duty. You form “I am a Christian” and you are not even grounded in your own Christian belief - 1 Corinthians 7:5 - Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. . i know english is hard, so please read as meaning translation as possible. This bible passage talks about denying your spouse sex! You know why people like you would end up in a bad marriage, you ignore things in the guise of being spiritual or whatever is your current state. Marry/Have a relationship with only someone that shares your sexual energy.

jelel6:Just accept it was a silly analogy. If you have made any attempt to found out what speed a falling bullet can hit the ground we won’t be here till now. |
jelel6:Use fact to refute your opponents argument. That’s sound logic. So based on your little research what is the terminal velocity of a bullet from an AK-47 sir? |

Try to do your fact checking before taking a side in a argument. Thats is the terminal velocity of a .3 183 miles per hour is roughly about 294 km per hour (i know you should know how fast when converted to km per hour). If a AK-47’s terminal velocity is half of that (which is even not the case), imagine the outcome if it were a car hitting you at that speed talk less of a small pointed projectile. Get your facts right.
|
jelel6:Why TF are you mentioning rain-drop (a liquid), how does that compare to a metal traveling at more than speed of light into the air then coming back down. If you mentioned hail which by the way reaches no where the speed of a bullet i would have even given you a little credit. At the bolded: all my facts are correct from the weight to the max distance reachable. Google is at your disposal too. Please double check (screenshot attahced: you can see my screenshot even stated a higher number 715m/s). I am beginning you to think you don’t understand terminal velocity (let me help you with a simple definition: Terminal velocity, maximum velocity attainable by an object freely falling through a gas or liquid). I ask you again given that all facts i stated about the bullet checks out, at what speed would it hit the ground all things being equal?
|
jelel6:I like the word high-unlikely. But with a crowd of people, the chances of it happening sky rockets. One of the determining factor for it causing injury is the bullet point. From your talk about terminal velocity do a little math, a small object weighing 0.03kg was fired, it travelled at an average of 1,500 miles per hour (670 meters per second): about double the speed of sound. Knowing that a bullet fired into the air can reach up to 10,000 feet. At what speed would it hit the ground, all things being equal (acceleration due to gravity). If you calculated that then, We have established that while coming down a bullet has more velocity than a stone thrown with human effort haven travelled thousands of miles into the air. Depending of the bullet’s point it more likely to puncture the skin. ...and all know what the bullet point of AK-47s look like. NB: In no civilized country is shooting live ammunition into the air used to dispersed a crowd. They have even stopped using rubber bullets because of injuries, most civilized countries resolve to water tanks or at most tear gas. Get your facts rights.

thebosstrevor1:Yeah it is obvious you are lacking in mental faculty. |
