Hi, pals done my online assessment(110), just got my ielts(r-7,w-7.5,L-7.5,s-7), my profession is quantity surveying(11yrs working experience). i want to start the process but i don't know how to check if my profession is regulated or not, then i'll like to know if anybody who has gone trough the whole process to speak about the total process duration.

From the look of things, i would require CIPS qualification awarded by the United Kingdom to be able to fit into procurement.Go for it man! Your destiny is in your hands.

We would have to work towards my wife sitting for the next diet of their medical examination and hope for the best. Ofcourse that would cost us some money and time, guess thats our best bet.Look beyond what it will cost you if you have the means,it is your future you are about to secure.

I have also tried to secure jobs via the suggested jobsites but they all seem to want a PR or NZ Citizen.Very correct.only a fraction get offers outside NZ.

We would keep looking for other means of getting this done regardless of how long it takes.This is courage.Only losers give up

Lemme share how far i have gone on the process and possibly seek for clarification.

My wife and i took the IELTS test. My wife did well in the test and she would be the principal applicant as her qualification (medicine) is in the Long Term Skill Shortage List. Good

We have both gotten our Pre-assessment done, so we are about filling the form for the expression of interest.Good

Here is my questions sirs,

1. we discovered that on the Long Term Skill Shortage List, http://skillshortages.immigration.govt.nz/assets/uploads/long-term-skill-shortage-list-2015-03-30-.pdf , the requirements shows that she must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand before some points can be claimed. Pls how feasible is that as that would mean she would have to undertake some exams in various levels.

Well! I don't really know if she will sit for standardization test or to simply forward her academic and professional qualifications for assessment.
Immigration authorities often insist that qualifications like medicine earned elsewhere must be subjected to scrutiny.it is a norm with high class profession like Medical practice and others like Engineering,Law etc

Applicants from overseas must have their qualifications assessed to make sure it complies with host country's standard.The only discouraging thing most times is the cost of evaluating such qualifications.

2. Is der any one in the house or that anyone knows who peradventure was selected from the pool with points between 100-135 as it seems as if we are going to fall in that category.Just want to be sure before gambling with $530 dollars or so.
In the EOI pool,140 is an automatic ITA but with 100-135 your chances are slim except you have job offer.

Note also that the points you earn for PAR is for EOI submission only when you finally get an ITA you will process and pay for a full international qualification assessment(IQA) before the full educational qualification points will be awarded.

Please i got a mail from WES that they have sent my document to my school for verification, but my school imo state university and national open university keeps saying they are yet to receive any mail from them.

Please proceed by applying into the express entry pool, your application will cover you and your family as you must declare them. However, if you need additional points in the pool, you will have to encourage your hubby to sit the IELTS and get his credentials evaluated.

Good morning people, so good to be here for the very first time. Please i am applying for immigration (skill worker program) hoping to travel with my husband but he is currently out of the country. I am the principal applicant. I have written my ielts exams and done wes evaluation... I hope my documentation covers for my(Your husband will still provide his own test result report & ECA to qualify,your documents alone wont work.

Pls does anyone knows how to hasten credential assessment by WES? we've been on it for some time now.It varies base on certain factors-How fast you are able to prepare and send your transcript by courier or snail mail to and from WES.Secondly does anybody have an idea of how long it takes from when application is submitted after ITA and eventual nomination by Manitoba?

Hello house. Did anyone succeed in submitting their application to the Quebec Express Entry before it got filled? I had a hard luck as it reached the max 5000 before it got to my turn in the waiting room. Painful. I entered the waiting room 1:25pm as i was denied access 1:20pm,yet i was like 86437 in the waiting room. People wan really go this Canada oo

D crazy thing is d organisation is a multinational.Its even d European HR Centre dat is forming jackie chan for me.Dey even said dey wont include d salary details in the letter but I will include my offer letter,salary increase letters and previous payslips.

Sofar they accepted to draft it. Please let them write it in whatever form they like.your duty is to attach all relevant documents for clarifications.Also know that If CIC did not conduct background check about your past jobs prior to ITA then a prospective employer in Canada may want to check who knows ??let your employer write it as it pleases them so they will attest to it if either called by CIC or a future employer.Thank you

Funny Naija employers! Pls it should be addressed to 'To Whom It May Concern' and not IRCC (not RCIC, as hartson typed).Hey,Get my message clear.The acceptable format is To Whomever It May Concern but the dude complained that his employer turned down his appeal to address it as stated above therefore he has no option than to find an address to give to the employer.
Besides, which address would one use for IRCC? Canada, Nigeria or where?I have misplaced the paper where I wrote FSW immigration Addresses.I know one of the address is at Nova Scotia.

Bro Powermike, pls try to 'convince' whoever is in charge of drafting the letter that this is the standard and no address should be on the letter.It seems he has done but no way.
