Navigating through this sight has been a wonderful adventure.
For clearer understanding, can the big bosses do some of us a favor and itemize the steps from beginning to end.
I doubt if it will be possible to run a full explanation on how to fill the SMC-EOI online cos of the nature of the application. The point is to start wherever you find difficult at any stage then you can ask questions here for possible answers.

Have you started the online EOI application already?

Anyway,here are few tips.

Create an account via this https://onlineservices.immigration.govt.nz/secure/Login+Skilled+Migrant.htm

When that is done, start filling the application.Make sure the wrong information indentifer is checked.you can check it top leftside of the app page.

Fill in your details accordingly, for every page you completed successfully and validated a yes will appear adjacent to the completed section

Note:any information marked asterix is compulsory of course the indicator will indentify any compulsory field you didn't see or fail to supply the appropriate information.

when you get to the recognised qualification section.

that's where you will have your qualification assessed preliminary using the information you fill in about your qualification.

click on the link for NZQA to explore the link for that.
At the NZQA portal you create and account and follow the registration prompt.when that is done then access your account to apply for PAR
After you are through with filling all the required information you will be required to pay for the assessment at the end of the 4th page/section.

After 20 working days the outcome will be email to you

Return to your online app to fill the REF number of the PAR and your qualification equivalent.

You can fill the entire online form before you do the PAR or You have it done before you proceed on the next section of the application

Point will be awarded base on age, recognised qualification & years of work experience base on your job.If your job is listed in LTSS list bonus point will be awarded if you get an offer of skilled employement.

If successfull in the entire process, the authorities will commence verification of all your claims before an ITA is issued

Thereafter, you will be compel to do the main assessement i.e IQA which cost $746 flat with return courier package you add $44 if it does n't increase

Like I said if you encounter difficulty at any stage feel free to ask questions.

The existing ones are still under funded then creating more will solve the problem of advancing this country.Expand the existing ones, equip them with state of the art infrastructures and technologies, strenghten ASUU,Pay salaries as at when due and allocate the UNESCO recommended 26% funding to education then see if the world will not compete to study here.

hello guys,

Thanks so much for the help you guys are rendering here. Pls I wanted to find out if its only IELTS written in the British council that is accepted for canada immigation. I would like to write the test this month but there is no availability at the British council until july.
Can anyone also give other agencies I can use in writing this test as soon as possible

Your response will be appreciated. Many thanks
IELTS is administered by BC.If you reside in Nigeria,it is the only acceptable test for Canada immigration and it must be the GT module for work related migration.why not choose any convienent date in July to allow time for preparation before the test.

I work with a gud coy &hv a mnthly sal of abt 300k.I know schholing is free 4 my kids to sec sch&there is gud healthcare in canada. I want to ask a few questions &pls i appeal for sincere answers from people who have gone thru d process & are in Canada/or abt to go
1.Do u think i will scale thru d process lookn @ my stats.
2.What chance of success do i stand if i'm eventually successful in getting to Canada.
3.Do u think it is advisable to leave my job here in Naija in case i am successful or do i just send my family & continue working here while comin there 4 short trips.
4.Is there any1 whose case is like mine, can u pls share ur experience.
Pls help a brother.
Family relocation adventure is not easy but it is not entirely impossible.when you begin to struggle to provide all the paper work and pay migration levies/dues for your entire family you will understand.
Sit down and ponder over this very well again because not as bitter kola dey sound for mouth e dey taste.
Don't start and abandon it half way i.e Don't start what you cannot finish.
Think about the up keep of your family when they get separated from you.footing bills here and outside with your salary level
put your wife's work into consideration.
Sch fees for kids are free but when the gain admission into universities it won't be free oo!!
excellent healthcare yes but remember well packaged healthcare insurance bill follows it
About your work,a bird at hand is worth more than 1 milliom in the bush.
often is always good to gather lots of information, make wide consultations,be prepared and get ready with the right documents before venturing
Always stick around here you will surely get to know more as you proceed since you said that you have started.

Hi Hartson,
Thanks for your response:Hubby is
Bachelors Electrical
M.Sc-Oil and gas and yes he's practicing currently works as Maintenance Engineer for a drilling coy.
Pretty good but the fact is that engineering is a regulated profession in Sask so he must be licensed to qualify to apply for Sask PNP.except he will go for a non-regulated engineering occupation. He should look at these nocs on the SINP in-demand occupation list 2232 and 8232.His qualification is well above the nocs,I am only suggesting.

My CRS points today is 1020!

My Saskatschewan nomination gave additional 600 points.

If you can apply to this program, you are home and try for CIC application submission because only Upfront Medical and Police Clearance Cert are the two documents to add.

It very tasking and voluminous especially when you work. They ask for all the docs you'll need for CIC in case get ITA.

Guys, its not been easy. The first thing I (and wifey) did was WES (June, 2015), next we did was IELTS (July), next created EE profile (Sep 2015, CRS 420), and in Jan 2016 applied SAKS Provincial nominee. Nominated this May 2016.

My application has a total of 5 people. This program helped get every documents I'll ever need in place, even the ones I issued abroad I've gotten them all.

Patience is all I need for the next phase (post ITA).

This blog has been very instrumental. I got most of the information I wanted here and I shall continue to give back here.

Thanks y'all
wow!!!Congratulations to you superchi.I pray God Almighty to continue to crown your effort.I also thank you in a special way for your kind advice.Remain blessed.

secondly,I want to be sure of what I am selecting so I don't select a river as city or an island where nobody leaves.lol

must you have employment from a NewZealand employer before applying for there skilled migration.
I stand to object this.the requirement is to get the desire 140 points or more in the SMC assessment grid.
However, offer of employment will boast your selection chances.

Except you talking from experience as a resident or citizen

Welcome bro.
Hello Bro,How are you doing? I hope things are getting on well as planned.

It will interest me to know.was your qualification evaluated by NZQA at international level? On INZ portal, applicants must have their qualification assessed after the initial assessment (PAR) prior to submitting the online EOI.I have seen the amount it costs but I don't know if the IQA applies to only the PA or should PA and partner pay the fee each.I wrote to them to find out tho,am yet to receive their feedback
