I applied for study visa about 2 years ago which wasn't granted. However, I'm about to enter EE pool but not so clear about the question of "have u applied before". Should the answer be "Yes" cos of the study visa or "No" since I haven't applied for FSW before?

I am sure he meant application after ITA.

Is the job still your current job or have you left the job? If you have left the job, you can get the job reference letter even before ITA and it will still be valid. However, if it is your current job and you will be claiming points for it till when you get ITA, it will be better to get the letter within a month before you submit your application.

By app do you mean wen i am applying for my express entry pool or after ive been given an ITA.
Im a bit confuse if i need to submit it now that i want to create an account or later after i get an invitation.

This is not correct. Part time work while studying part time outside Canada will count.Sorry Pardon me,you are right
However, when you are on student visa in Canada, part time work will not count for those that are applying under Canadian Experience Class. Also, experience gained during school internship, which is part of your educational programme will also not count. JesusDway posted a link earlier. @Gymme. Are you saying part-time job before qualification counts or part-time job after qualification? Are you saying if somebody graduated last year from a part-time program in nigeria university though he has been working for the past 6years whilst schooling, he will he get 6years or 1 year working experience for canada express entry?To the best of my knowledge cic only consider post qualification working experience wheather part-time or full time.

I calculated our points to be on 120.

My questions are at what point do we need to do assessment before EOI or after EOI?
You do self & husband's profile assessment using your own information just like the canada CRS then arrive at a cumulative score as you indicated above. if you feel satisfy with your score range then you sign up and begin to fill the online EOI app form.

Also do we need POF if so how much for family of 3?
Make a reasonable budget for your family,POF is not needed for application submission.nevertheless,you may be required to show account balance or statement post ITA before migration.

Pls what about for someone who just graduated without work experience, can he apply.

First,you can but make sure your occupation is listed on the long,short or immediate skills in demand list otherwise you don't stand a chance.

Secondly,since you don't have post graduation experience it will be difficult to get the cumulative point and of course no point for W.E not even a bonus point for number of yrs of W.E

And is there any site for new Zealand permanent residence, because I have searched through but couldn't see.

Hi, pals done my online assessment(110), just got my ielts(r-7,w-7.5,L-7.5,s-7), my profession is quantity surveying(11yrs working experience). i want to start the process but i don't know how to check if my profession is regulated or not, then i'll like to know if anybody who has gone trough the whole process to speak about the total process duration.

From the look of things, i would require CIPS qualification awarded by the United Kingdom to be able to fit into procurement.Go for it man! Your destiny is in your hands.

We would have to work towards my wife sitting for the next diet of their medical examination and hope for the best. Ofcourse that would cost us some money and time, guess thats our best bet.Look beyond what it will cost you if you have the means,it is your future you are about to secure.

I have also tried to secure jobs via the suggested jobsites but they all seem to want a PR or NZ Citizen.Very correct.only a fraction get offers outside NZ.

We would keep looking for other means of getting this done regardless of how long it takes.This is courage.Only losers give up

Lemme share how far i have gone on the process and possibly seek for clarification.

My wife and i took the IELTS test. My wife did well in the test and she would be the principal applicant as her qualification (medicine) is in the Long Term Skill Shortage List. Good

We have both gotten our Pre-assessment done, so we are about filling the form for the expression of interest.Good

Here is my questions sirs,

1. we discovered that on the Long Term Skill Shortage List, http://skillshortages.immigration.govt.nz/assets/uploads/long-term-skill-shortage-list-2015-03-30-.pdf , the requirements shows that she must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand before some points can be claimed. Pls how feasible is that as that would mean she would have to undertake some exams in various levels.

Well! I don't really know if she will sit for standardization test or to simply forward her academic and professional qualifications for assessment.
Immigration authorities often insist that qualifications like medicine earned elsewhere must be subjected to scrutiny.it is a norm with high class profession like Medical practice and others like Engineering,Law etc

Applicants from overseas must have their qualifications assessed to make sure it complies with host country's standard.The only discouraging thing most times is the cost of evaluating such qualifications.

2. Is der any one in the house or that anyone knows who peradventure was selected from the pool with points between 100-135 as it seems as if we are going to fall in that category.Just want to be sure before gambling with $530 dollars or so.
In the EOI pool,140 is an automatic ITA but with 100-135 your chances are slim except you have job offer.

Note also that the points you earn for PAR is for EOI submission only when you finally get an ITA you will process and pay for a full international qualification assessment(IQA) before the full educational qualification points will be awarded.

Please i got a mail from WES that they have sent my document to my school for verification, but my school imo state university and national open university keeps saying they are yet to receive any mail from them.
