The hospital side of the building is now completely demarcated away from the residential side using the block wall of the gate house. The roofing will now form letter M. From the back then to the duplex and then down to the gate house. We now have two well defined parking spaces, one for the hospital and the other side residential and each parking space will be serviced by its own gate

These are two frontal pillars created with block wall. They are going all the way up. The POP guy gave me quotation for pillar and windowhood design today. For each of these pillars, he said he will design it with 25K each and each big window for 3K and 2K5 for small window. I am still sampling the market though

Flygeriansteve: There's sth around your mouth. Use your left hand to clean it... Ehn ehn. Good. Now you've wiped all these lies you liedwhich of them is too much for you to believe? For your information, I underestimated most of the figures so that people like you will find it easy to believe yet u still failed despite the fact that I came down to ur level. In terms of my earnings, the figures I actually quoted are far less than what I make. And as per the prudence I used in bringing my family up, I am not exaggerating. |
When I was earning like a 150K, I was wondering what on earth it would feel like to make 500K monthly. When I started earning more than 500K per month, I didn't even realise it early cos dubiously, my responsibility and expenses climbed up too. Now I always earn more than a million naira monthly even when market appear sluggish....guess what? I even contemplated getting a loan. Of course I am not a party type, don't womanise and I only got introduced to alcohol recently which is baileys and I take one bottle once in 3months. So where is the money going to? I don't mean to say my life is not better than b4. Of course it is. I can't remember the last I called a friend or a family that they should borrow me 50k. If I need loan, it is a bank loan and must be in millions to service my business. How does this affect my marriage? Same. We are still living exactly the way we used to live when our salary was around 150K monthly. The only difference is that e are rarely broke now but our taste has not significantly increased. Bottomline; increase in money is not what will make your marriage works...I imbibed in my wife from day one strict financial discipline so she can cook a good food with 500naira only |
eddiebruk: I am sure if you have a Property and one of your Tenants have brought series of people who are criminals into your compound, and even attempted robbery twice, one successful and the other Not, you would go more further than just quitting the tenant, the reason why i have been Lenient for so long is because he happens to be an active friend, but his companies are the criminals + weed smokers, which makes his activities irregular Legally, and he too isnt helping matters. so as it is i have no choice, all i needed is to confirm the terms of quitting him as stated on my original post as being considerate enough.l feel u sir. The moral and legal ground is there for you to evict him and you are justified. But u said the guy is an active friend...the more reason u need to talk to him ist even if u will later get a lawyer to document. Tell him as a friend u want to use your house. Ask him when he feels he can get another accommodation. U are not neccessarily going to accept his terms verbatim. For example, if he says u should give him like 9months, u can say u can't give more than six. Then politely inform him that u will get a lawyer to officially document it. That way, u will preserve your friendship and still make him commit himself. He will be under pressure to move. The momemt u turn everything to legal stuff, you lose ur friendship and he has nothing to lose anyway so he may put u and your other tenants thtough a lot of stress b4 u can evict him. Practically, it is not always straightforward to evict a tenant simply by giving him one month notice because the law says so. |
So in your opinion, it is stubborness to try and protect your business. Thank God u said it is your opinion and that is what it is...a mere opinion. Do u know what it means? If I don't get a place to to move my business to, I should just close it down simply because of a lease agreement and how do you expect me to do that in six months even if the agreement say so? Nobody is talking about rent here. I never owed my landlord but just because of petty jealousy, I am being kicked out of my main source of income and u call it stubborness that I fought back. There is nothing like favourable terms in lease agreement. Being a landlord is a business that must be done with a human face. If I have job b4 and suddenly I am jobless, u mean I must be kicked out once I can't pay because the agreement say so. Even if I must be sent packing, it must be done with patience and human face cos I av a family that I can't raise under the bridge. Agreements are meant to be broken otherwise there will be no courts. It is foolish to assume every agreement must be respected in all circumstances. So my dear, dialogue still remain the best means of ejecting a tenant in lagos and that's how it should be cos one of the basic element of life is accommodation. If u insist that u want to send somebody's family to the streets simply because you are the landlord and because of ur so called favourable agreement without putting a human face, be prepared to take many of your tenants to court over a long period of time without pay. I already have a client base in that area meaning I must get another accommodation in that same area otherwise I am starting afresh. My family resides in the same accommodation meaning I need like 2 to 3 flats at the same time to remain in business and still keep my family yet u expect me to leave in six months even if the agreement say so. I would have wasted my father's school fees on me if I didn't fight back. Give me another opportunity, I will fight back again and again and again jerryben12: Education or enlightenment is not a ground for stubbornness. In my opinion, your lease agreement should be respected. If your leases stipulates the grounds of quit notice and the length of time that should be given, we should al respect it. Going to court or negotiating outside of the court is a sense of not adhering to the agreed upon terms. My advise is for every landlord and tenant to maintain favorable terms in their leases. Additionally, respect each other and deal with each other in sincerity. |
Honestly, ejecting a tenant is more complex than issuing a quit notice wether one month or 6 months especially in lagos and if the tenant is very educated. I got a quit notice from my landlord cos the wife of his son that came to live in the compund started complaining bitterly about our business... She doesn't want a business within the house. That's her choice and I don't blame her but I am not going to abadon a business I built with my sweat unless I am so sure where I am going. By the way, its a hospital and I also live in a flat within the compound so I use multiple flats. All was well till the son of the landlord who wasn't living with us b4 got married and his father renovated one of the flats for him. To cut a long story short, she picked fight with my wife, ordered my nurses to close gates and so many things which I endured at ist. Then his father came and advised we moved the business out which I agreed if they give us time but unfortunately, the son got a lawyer and gave me six month quit notice. That's not acceptable to me cos its my business, my career and no matter how much I hate trouble, I won't sit down and watch my landlord destroy my carrer. For ur information, I am presently building my permanent site which I bought after the quit notice 3minutes away from my present location and so far, I've spent almost 15million on it. The case is in court after one year 7months now and the lawyer that advised them stopped attending court sittings cos I gave them a technical knock out that can get the case stalked in the next 3yrs. Meanwhile, I plan to open my site by january or latest by march by HIS grace. Talk to your tenant. It is easier to eject using dialogue than court. Don't need to tell you that since the case is in court...which I warned them about...I don't pay rent. In lagos, if u try to force out a well enlightened fellow...u may box urself to a corner. Talk to him you want to use your house and he will move in time |

U still don't understand the condition under which an average doctor works in nigeria. Diathermy is a luxury in most theatres and nigerian doctors still use different methods available to control bleeding. Diathermy is only one of the many ways u can control bleeding. So if diathermy stop working the doctor still works deols: good questions..what if it is a surgery requiring diathermy? |
Hello.....doctors went on strike because of poor working condition, nigerians said they are always on strike. Now a pix surface online of doctors operating with rechargeable, u are saying they are practising with human lives. Na wah oh. What happened here is a common scenario. PHCN takes light, while waiting for the generator man to put on the generator, u put on a temporary light. It still happened to me today...infact in the last 30minutes, I was operating a woman with abdominal sepsis secondary to septic abortion and PHCN took light. Of course we put on our nokia phones torch light for two minutes while waiting for the generator to come. For your information, this patient is yet to deposit a kobo so u can start hurling insult at me that I should have bought a UPS inverter. I am doing my best in my liTtle way to help my countrymen and if u think I am practising with people's life, that's your opinion |

My question is this...when do u plaster with this product? Is it after everything? Cos if we plaster and then do the tiles, will the plaster paint not get stained? If we do the compound flooring after plastering the outside, won't it get stained? What of ceiling works etc. So, with this plaster paint, when is the appropriate time to do it? |
I sent u mail @ugorosis@gmail.com So reply with the pix to my mail |
I am already getting quotations for plastering but I don't know about ur product. If only I can get a good pix of ur product in nigeria then I can make up my mind. |
Somalia Al-Shabab claims Nairobi Westgate Kenya attack 5 minutes ago Play Footage from inside the mall shows the aftermath of the shootout A senior figure in the Somali militant group al-Shabab has told the BBC it carried out a deadly attack on a shopping centre in neighbouring Kenya. Al-Shabab, which has links to al-Qaeda, said the attack was in response to Kenya's presence in Somalia, where its troops have been fighting the militants since 2011. A senior Kenyan security official has put the death toll at 11. However, the Red Cross says at least 30 people were killed and dozens injured. On its Twitter feed, al-Shabab, which has links to al-Qaeda, said it was behind what it called the "Westgate spectacle". The attackers entered the Westgate centre at about 12:00 local time (09:00 GMT), throwing grenades and firing automatic weapons. Dozens of shoppers fled; many were trapped inside. Officers have been going shop to shop to secure the area. Al-Shabab also said on Twitter that its fighters were still battling Kenyan security forces inside the Westgate centre, some seven hours after the assault began. A security source told the AFP news agency police and soldiers had finally "pinned down" the gunmen in one corner of the shopping centre after several hours of fighting. One gunman was arrested and died of his wounds, Kenyan officials told the BBC. Four other gunmen were arrested. Al-Shabab has claimed on its Twitter account that the Kenyan government wants to negotiate an end to the Westgate attack, but officials have told the BBC they intend to hunt the gunmen down. Some witnesses said Muslims were told to leave and that non-Muslims would be targeted. http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-24191606 |
The most important thing I noticed is that RVP didn't say Pssquare from nigeria...which means he assumed people should know and he wasn't talking to an african audience...that to me is a big achievement to those guys |
Well if you don't have an idea how BIG the Nigerian entertainment industry is, then here is a new yard-stick for you, during a chat with football legend Paddy Crerand, Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie talked about playing for the English club, working with Sir Alex Ferguson and much more. When asked what he does off the pitch, like what kind of music he listens to, RVP said: "I like to listen to music. ..all sorts honestly. I can listen to dutch songs, English songs..whatever...if the tune is good I like it." When asked who in particular he likes, he replied "Michael Jackson, Usher, P-Square...all sorts honestly. Yes, argubly the world's best soccer striker mentioned Nigeria's duo P-Square as one of his best musicians. Enough of the talking, watch video below.. NOTE: Van Persie started talking about the music part from the 4:30mark... at Monday, September 16, 2013 Share Source: http://www.nigerianeye.com/2013/09/watch-video-man-utd-striker-robin-van.html?m=1 |

Pastor Kun: Why are you always quick to defend anything wrong going on in the churchon the contrary why are always quick to condemn anything xtian despite the fact that u called urself pastor KUN? Something is foundationally wrong with the kind of xtianity you and frosbel practise. For ur information, u don't know pastors as much as I do. I know a pastor that usually bring women for HIV test in my clinic before sleeping with them. I know a pastor that brought a 15yr old to my clinic for scan and afterwards started begging me for abortion and I refused to do it. I know a pastor that told me he would do a charm for me so that I can attract patient to my hospital. I know their secret cos of the nature of my work. Pastors will not lie to doctors...my conclusion is that no man of God is an angel. They are first of all human before they are pastors. And the meaning is that even you pastor KUN wil likely do what u condemn others of if given the chance. Critics are the worst performers. I won't be surprised to find out u are probably condeming oyedepo while you are sleeping with a prostitute in a hotel...cos u are first of all human. Despite my exposure to pastors secret, I don't generalise. I don't assume that if pastor A is doing it then pastor B is guilty. You are human, oyedepo is human and paul the apostle is human. That's why paul the apostle talked about his weakness that God refused to remove. The weakness will not disappear because u are annointed and the annoiting won't diappear cos of ur weakness. So pastor KUN...if u want to do something BIG in life, u can't afford to be a pathological critic. It is an exclusive reserve of people that have failed!!! Now u can throw ur usual insult at me. But be sure I won't reply!!! |

No true christian would cover up wrong doing. What is wrong is wrong and should be condemned no matter whoose ox is gored.
