This is d most technical aspect of the building. I av to invite a structural engineer to supervise the construction of d staircase of d duplex. The ironbender will completely work under d supervision of d engineer. The staircase will rise from a shootout of d building so d load must be well calculated

Deckwork started yesterday so we are only doing the carpentry work now which will finish tommorrow then the iron bender and electrician will take over

One modification to the plan though is that d duplex for d resident doctor is now 3bedroom. The total spending till date is 1686780 that is one million six hundrend and eigthy six thousand seven hundrend and eighty naira. The carpenter will start form work for d decking on thurs but i will post d different quotations i got for ur perusal |

Certain areas with weakened german floor were done afresh and the german floor for the new walls created were done Like u said, d major advantage is that i am in nigeria and d property is a 2minute walking distance from my present location which incidentally serves as both my residence and hospital. So i can shuttle btwn my hospital and site ten times daily self |

I can remember years back when lawyer start posting information in regard to land and land documents, an average joe in any part of the world learn what we properly never know about lands documents or land transaction in Nigeria, at a point I thought it was an conspiracy from our government to let all this fraudulent OMO O NILE to rob people their hard enarned money especially people in diaspora. This is bad journalism. A white man that has never suffered malaria will tell us to ban chloroquine simply because the so called research was financed mainly big pharmaceutical companies who incidentally produce ACTs and an average nigerian wont ask question. This is why we say doctors should head medical parastatals in nigeria so that we dont just accept every gabbage that the oyinbos pass across. I am consulting now. Ive learnt a lot from building my own house 100times more than what u can learn from others. The most important skill is how to manage fund without waste and without compromising standard. The ist method i adopted is to buy materials myself after getting quotations from 3 people and i usually insist they analyse how they arrived at d quantity. For example, if u want to give me quotation for pillars, u will tell me what length of rod u want to use.since each length is 39, i will divide it myself and arrive at a conclusion then i give u extra. I dont buy materials in excess at ist cos they may steal it if i am not there. If u ask me to give u 30 bags of cement, i give u 20, b4 u finish that 20 it will be clear to all of us wether or not u need more and d exact quantity u will need. I negotiate labour as a contract per phase. For example demolition was to cost me 80k. I gave them 20k to start. I made sure i dont give them more than what they av done per time so that even if u abadon d job i can call somebody else without losing a kobo. So far work has been progressing daily non stop and ive spent at least 950k within one month now while maximising fund wtout incurring waste. I will soon post our expenses so far 2 Likes |

@all. Really appreciate ur contributions. In my generation, people will come for medical tourism in nigeria but the revolution will be done by private practitioners cos our politicians are addicted to oyinbo doctors. It may look like pipe dream now but it will happen. Nollywood is making fame worldwide, dbanj and co are now in d same studio with kanye and one day we will be in the same theatre with d best surgeons in the world right on our soil without bringing any equipment from outside. I am interested in an all inclusive gym where people can lose weight while attending to their medical problems like hypertension, diabetes, atherosclerosis and heart related diseases. Laalamed: The problem is from nma. nma politics is killing doctors. nma and mdcn should have policies on coordinating care between private and public hospitals.i guess u are right but it is more complicated than that. Most doctors in private set up are more loyal to AGPMPN than NMA and most doctors in govy hospital are using the power of number to control NMA. So the harmony is not easy to achieve even though agpmpn is also under NMA. I think we should rotate the presidency of NMA btwn govt and private doctors 1 Like 1 Share |

I didnt register with CAC until one year after setting up d business. The most important registeration is with HEFAMMA at alausa first. Once u get a b place to set up, u will write a letter to d commissioner of health that u need permission to set up at so so place and the processing will start after d permission is granted. Feel free to asl more questions. U dnt need more than business registeration for a start and it cost about 10k plus as at 2011 when i did mine to set |
