A Nigerian man buried his mother in a Hummer Jeep! I still have my mouth open agape! Can't close it! What kind of madness is that? Why would anyone wanna do that? He has too much money to burn right and thought ,how can i impress my neighbours? I will bury my mum in a Hummer jeep! People are just crazy,it;s his money, fine and he can do what he likes with it,but i don't even think this is respecting his mother.I am sure the old woman would have preferred something more dignifying! Maybe somebody will pls come and tell me its a scene from a Nollywwod Movie. Anyway what'd done is done...enjoy the ride to heaven mummy in your Hummer jeep!

Just spoke with my agent now. He says all matters has been resolved, and the new guy should start operations today... I thank God for understanding clients. We hope never to encounter such anymore. Amen |
A great suit doesn't look so great if it doesn't fit. Seven ways to tell if it does. 1. Shoulder pads end with your shoulders. 2. Your flat hand should slip easily into your suit under the lapels when the top (or middle) button is fastened. If you put a fist in, the suit should pull at the button. 3. The top button of a two-button suit — or the middle button of a three-button suit — should not fall below your navel. 4. With your arms at your sides, your knuckles should be even with the bottom of your jacket. 5. Jacket sleeves should fall where the base of your thumb meets your wrist. 6. Between a quarter and a half inch of shirt cuff should be visible. 7. One inch of break.

The federal government will incur tariff losses on goods imported through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, if the threat by importers and exporters, under the aegis of the Lagos State Shippers Association (LSSA) to divert their cargoe to Accra becomes a reality. The planned diversion follows on the heels of the closure of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) and Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) after a faceoff between clearing agents and officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) last two week. The shippers’ sheds at the two cargo handling companies have been short for about 10 days now, with the importers lamenting loss of income to demurrage charges on their imported cargoes. The association’s president, Mr Jonathan Nicol, said his group would direct its members to divert their cargoe to Ghana as the cargo sheds at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, as the agents under the aegis of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) and the Customs refused to shift grounds on their differences. “We are taking this stand because goods stocked in the sheds are attracting huge demurrage and we cannot not quantify how much loss we have been incurring. The shippers are losing so much, especially at this time that we have supply contracts to our various clients,” Nicol said. |
