My brother for security reasons live where you can easily blend. If you build in such a place you will be like a goldfish. I have seen quite a lot of people that built to taste in such places but couldn't live there. Build and use the rent to pay in a saner environment. |

U self go de ashamed we do share bills but I only concentrate on feeding totally which you know it's expensive. What is good man does it mean if I am not working he will not do these things? I want him to grow up and learn how to do things like a man should do. He has a lot of misplaced priorities which is making me do too much that I forget to take care of my personal needs. I have talked for over ten years and decided to start acting. For the first time we couldn't pay rent at the right time because he was waiting for rent from me as usual while he has been sending bulk of his money to his people instead of thinking of rent. I have over tried and made him too nonchalant. |

My story is similar to yours. The truth is when you start assisting them financially they leave everything to you and concentrate on their family in my own case he is the last born but likes to break his neck for his family. Some times it's even my money that he sends to them while he is the only tenant among them. This year I decided to start investing and saving for myself. Let him do most of those things and assist only when you can. Do you know that it got to a point that he doesn't know our children's school fees. I just had to withdraw and let him do his thing. |

I followed such advice and now regretting. If am giving a second chance I'll rather not marry at all than to marry because of tribal difference. When you truly fall in love with someone and didn't mutually stop the relationship based on any
issue between you then you may never fall in love with someone else no matter how good the person is. When you stay for sometime and show lack of interest in getting married they will allow you marry the person you like. Please follow your heart all they do is to dance and leave you to your fate |

We didn't have sex until we were married. I never knew he was like this. Men must understand that based on a woman's monthly cycle there some days that sex is just the last thing a woman will want to do especially close to monthly flow. |

akaahs: U actually spot the main issue in her story. The man need to draw the line between his family needs and his need and that of his girlfriend. I wonder why he feels with out him, they exist or feed, the truth if he dies today, their lives ll surely continue. IYANGBALI: really?who assigned those roles? You want to rub shoulders with men, see yourselves being equal, treated with respect, want to be on top during lsex, but you want to shy away from sharing financial burden. Real girls no longer reason that way except stingy and selfish ones like you. Wake up from your slumber and face reality, this is 21st century and not the days of Adam and Eve
Dominique will never reason the way you do, that I know for sure why the insults. Have you read where I said I am married, working and contributing financially to my family well being I have paid fees, rent and other things so whats the stiginess about. Hope you know a lot of women are doing wonderfully to support their husband but want to shy away from the truth except if you are the type of man in question. So are you saying men no longer know their responsibility again? You are getting aggressive and childish and I have seen that you have a mindset already, so I rest my case. Wil not reply you again. |

Nairalandmonika: Women are just confuse abeg, una nor know watin una want.
So if I say a woman's duty is in the kitchen and the other room, u will be cool with that? a woman is suppose to be a homemaker first even if she is working she has to find a balance and I say yes the main duty of the woman is kitchen and other room. Any woman that does not meet up with such will be pushing her man away |

IYANGBALI: oiiiiin. Wake up. This is 21st century and stop living in the past. Now, real girls share the bills with men when they are taken out on a date there is nothing like the 21st century. There's a role assigned to each gender and each gender should do his responsibility accordingly and as I said anything you do aside your role should be extra and not entitlement. So are you okay with the fact that this OP is automatically the bread winner even before marriage. Mind you am married over 10yrs and working as well and contribute financially for the well being of my family. But I cannot advise my younger sister to marry such a man. Thanks |

Don't ever marry a man that financially depends on you. It will continue and get worse and you will start disliking him until you fall out of love. Men should for self respect not be asking for money from their gal friends or wife |

Convid80: Just saw this now and I am like Lord help me. I am a pastor and I have had this case on my table for many years now. I have this friend who was dating my sister from primary till University. He was sent to UK after school and they both lost contacts.
My people it's been 8 years now they are still digging on each other.. He has 2 boys and still married while my sister has 4 children still married. As I am writing this now they are kin on leaving thier marriages to start a new one together. I don talk I don pray. Family members have said thier own and it's not working. I cant give them my support even though I know they will be happy together. He is waiting for her to divorce her husband so he will divorce his own wife.. Is this not madness?
Would you support them for any reason I forgot to mention that she has been pregnant for him for more than 3 times now and she had an abortion. You can't blame them. They are meant for each other, this true love is only meant for one person |
