this is what I was explaining to some fools yesterday. Twitter doesn't care much about who's involved, if they cared Donald trump won't have gotten such treatment. Somehow the educated(read uneducated) fools in Nigeria feel twitter supports Nnamdi Kanu and his rhetorics when they haven't even reported him.

what you're saying actually makes no sense and the comparison to China is also senseless.

Firstly, why was twitter banned? Simply because of Buhari's bruised ego. What brought about his ego? He threatened war on a region(threat of violence is against their TOS). Twitter wasn't banned because of IPOB or anyother person spreading supposedly violent message but rather a product of Buhari's threat of violence. If Buhari's administration feels someone is using Twitter to spread violence (terrorism whatsoever) they could get twitter to act delete such tweets, that is if Twitter feels the tweets are against their TOS. You can't just sit in your bedroom and make up facts that don't exist. If anybody feels Nnamdi Kanu is spreading hate on Twitter they have the right to report his account and if Twitter deems it appropriate to be suspended, it would act accordingly.

If you want to know why Twitter is not in China, you should do yourself a favour and research on the topic.
