Rossikk: Illiterate airhead. How many years of independence did it take America to get to this stage? 300 years? 350? Nigeria is 50 years and you're comparing her to America? Where was America at 50 years? Flogging, torturing, lynching, ra.ping, enslaving, and denying education to everyone who looked like you as a matter of state policy. So because in the olden days children must be up to 6 or 7 years old before starting elementary school, your children too must go and queue and slap their hands on their heads if it reaches their ears before they start school. I pity you this is jet age and stop being ignorant of what is happening globally |

grafikii: Nigerians hate the truth yet they want a better life. Some of you would have preferred okupke or abati's liesYour head is too correct. A nation deserves a leader she wants that's is why things are not moving in this country.with these comments from Nigerians on Buhari, people worst than GEJ will continue to rule this country. Why are we all clamouring for good governance when what majority of us shy away from truth. |
Toaskarity: uk!!! wow!! thats amazing! so lagos is doing this good and my two friends there are begging me for dollar, may God punish someoneSo its everybody that is leaving in America that is doing fine. Mugun |
Mad Cow: I AGREE... NURTW is the highest employer of Labour in Yoruba land..While kidnapping and boko haram is an employment in other climes. Isi aki |
Gbawe: Whatever floats your boat. "Opposition types"? Are people like you for real? Anyway, I am coming to accept that talking to most Nairalanders means accepting the premise that conversation will have a flavour of surrealism.Your head is too correct, pls don't mind the mumu. |

NJC is using these guys to save face after its so glaring to the whole world Nigeria judicial system is so corrupt. We expect more of these if they really want to mend their ways. |
You know, the climax of this hypocrisy is that when I demand to know how Fashola spend monthly income of N40b, they will shout me down. All these later day saints are not interested in how OBJ spent the $16b power funds nor how IBB spend the $12b oil wind fall or even how Fani Kayode spent the aviation intervention funds or how much El-Rufai spent on each demolition activity in Abuja or how much Fashola spent on 'cleaning up' Oshodi. The target is clear- shoot the President down because he is not from the axis of power. They forgot to look at the new political map and see how much things have changed. Is this really about accountability or about political gains? Not even the ACN or CPC peeps in the NA are talking about drastic amendment to the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, i urge the President to get the CBN to publish the account statements of the Foreign reserves. I also urge him to push for fast track of the criminal cases in court including the ones against Fani Kayode and El-Rufai. Halliburton scandal should also be reopened. We need to know where this rain started beating us!
Your head is too correct. How many of these fraudulent acts were exposed during OBJ regime. It is only when you fall out with him OBJ that he will use EFCC to nab you. Obj theory then was chop and clean mouth and be smart about it, if you re caught I don't know you. |
Maxymilliano, taharqa, ifihearam You guys can defend GEJ all you want but the facts remain the facts. 1)If OBJ, FFK and El rufai are as corrupt as you people say, why has GEJ not put them in jail? Is fighting corruption not part and parcel of his job? 2)Like OBJ said GEJ is the chief security officer of the country and he takes the blame for their lapses(boko haram, kidnapping). Was OBJ lying? before you tell me OBJ is corrupt read question 1. 3)Dr Oby asked for an account on how GEJ spent certain monies and Abati/Reno/Okupe/Laptops guys have refused to answer the question why? 4)A year after subsidy issue, nothing has been done and you tell me GEJ is working? Do you count sleeping and eating as work? 5) If somebody uses a fake signature to withdraw money from my account, i'd fight the bank and not the person. Using that Analogy why would GEJ, Dieziani and NOI tell me a "cabal" is responsible for the subsidy fraud? Were they jonzing when people brought "fake" documents to register brief case companies and collect cheques without supplying products? [/quote So he will just instruct the igp to put them in jail without police investigation which will take another 20yrs to conclude. And before you know it GeJ will be castigated as a president who does not hve respect for rule of law. One thing I know its not easy to be a leader and uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. All these fraud exposure we see today is an effort to combact corruption which has been the cancerworn that has eaten deep into the fabric of our system. In my own opinion I know and believe we will get to the promised land |
homesteady: are u a learnerHow ![]() ![]() ![]() ? Just wonder why xtian will start behaving like muslims. Our God is too mighty for anybody to fight for Him. He will surely fight for Himself. Its only muslims that fight for their god.And we should realize that our God forgives sin.if He insulted Xt and ask for forgiveness definitely he will be forgiven, so what is the fuse about? |
Jimmy Boy: If someone who stole N20b and pleads guilty was allowed to walk away after paying 750k, then I am not going to vote for Jonathan. This is not the fresh air , he promised. So u want GEJ to be the judge abi, now pple will start to say he does not believe in rule of law. Am not a supporter of Jonathan but on this issue all the arms of govt are corrupt |
lynpetra: My only prayer is for GEJ to step down from his Govt.God please, change this man's heart to take this bold decision.Nigerians have really suffered under his leadership. My God if you can't do that for us,atleast don't allow us to suffer yet another four years Biko Nnam no nli igwe.Who do u want to put there for the real and genuine transformation that will not disappoint us again. |
playah P: May justice be done!!By this statement of yours I concur you are a murderer too, people that knows you should be very careful of you. And I pray what befell this boy will befall you one day and it shall be treated in family way. |
Heads may roll after Jonathan’s police college visit Mon Jan 21, 2013 10:48 am SHOCKING discoveries by President Goodluck Jonathan during his unscheduled visit on Friday to the Police College, Ikeja, may lead to a major shake-up in the Nigeria Police Force and the Ministry of Police Affairs, findings by The PUNCH have revealed. A Presidency official, who spoke to one our correspondents in confidence, on Sunday, said, “The picture being painted is that of total neglect of the police training colleges, including the one in Ikeja. “But the fact is that some money was budgeted for those colleges. How has the money been spent? There will be a probe and anybody found wanting will be sacked.” Already, sources said top officials at the Ministry of Police Affairs, the Police Service Commission, and the office of the Inspector-General of Police have been put under scrutiny over the condition of the PCI. It was also gathered that the DIG ‘E’ Department, Mr. Marvel Akpoyibo, who oversees training in the Nigeria Police, might be called upon to give explanations on the “unacceptable magnitude” of rot in the police training schools. Jonathan, who could not hide his anger during the visit to the PCI en route Cote d’Ivoire for the ECOWAS Summit on Mali, said that the rot , being televised as a documentary on a Lagos-based privately-owned Channels Television, was meant to tarnish the image of his administration. The documentary was said to have informed his unscheduled visit to the college. “This is a calculated attempt to damage the image of this government. The Police College, Ikeja, is not the only training institution in Nigeria,” he had said. His questions on who got Channels to film the depreciation in facilities caused by years of sustained decay were not answered by the embattled commandant of the college. A confidant of the President said that Jonathan was of the view that those appointed to occupy sensitive positions had failed to do their jobs. The President’s visit coincided with a wedding reception being held at the Police College. There were fears that the police college had long deviated from the standard norms associated with a police formation . It was learnt that the field of the Police College was being rented out to the public for ceremonies ranging from weddings, funerals and sundry social activities. The proceeds from such rentals hardly appear in the college’s books nor do they reflect in the maintenance of facilities in the school. Also, those in charge of the PCI were alleged to place priority on such rentals at the expense of serious training programmes in the school. The Police Public Relations Officer of the PCI, Mr. Agu Genny, however, said he did not know if money was paid to the college for renting the field as it was not under his responsibility. “I don’t know how much or if money is paid for using the field because it is not my responsibility. That question should be directed to the officer in charge of finance or the commandant of the college”, he said. Like the proceeds from the rentals, monies realised from billboards, including spectacular boards that are rented by advertising agencies, are not accounted for. An officer, who declined to give his name because of the sensitivity of the scandal, said, “Look, for many years outdoor advertising agencies have always erected their spectacular billbords in our premises. http://www.punchng.com/news/heads-may-r ... ege-visit/ |
Oyinlola that was sacked as the governor of Osun state became the secretary of PDP now that court have sacked him from being the secretary. Oni another sacked governor of Ekiti state is been favoured to become the secretary of PDP. Can somebody kindly give me the full definition of PDP? |
okpara ugo: If there exists 800milion tonnes of limestone in Yobe state, why hasn't Nigeria's biggest industrialist opened a cement factory in Yobe state to utilize the depositThank you very much, even Dangote who is from the North refused to set up any worthwhile business venture in the core north |
Billyonaire: He should shut the heck up and do his job, what is he a governor for? Why is he praising himself as if the N127m is his personal funds. The monthly allocation is from Federal Government and its meant for development of the people and their communities. Thanks but no thanks to a wife who praises herself after cooking evening food for the kids after receiving money from husband. If he refuses to spend it judiciously like many PDP governors would you hve killed or hanged him. Pls get a better understanding of what is being discussed here. |
Prof Corruption: GEJ is a professional mourner for sure.He bleeps corruption and corruption born am |
I drive with my shoe on but just of recent I found out the hill of all my right leg shoes are bent. I looking towards another option that will not affect my shoes. |
trillville: Now what gej needs to do is to fire employees at FCDA responsible for this. He is the president after all and the buck stops at his table.Thank you but it is not easy to fire civil servants like that. Investigation will take place, civil service commission will step into it and all this bureaucratic stuffs. One thing I found out is that without civil servants its difficult for politicians to be fraudulent. So who do we blame. For somebody that is a civil servant to open his mouth and call 9b naira like a chicken money, there is problem somewhere. But my annoyance to people is that they are vexing their anger wrongly. Nothing concerns Gej on this issue and he has moved appropriately by wading into it. Let wait and see |
With this thread, it is very easy for me to deduce that most of nairalanders are half baked educated people. People that will refuse to follow events and alway love to comment foolishly. These are the future leaders of this country. I keep on wondering, what is really wrong with this country? |
sanusi muslim: I don't have any thing to say again but what I believe is that both Mr Gej,the senate and Mr sambo are all foolish and basterd people of nigerian. I believe if Yaradua is alife he would never tolerate this kind of corruption and selfishness people calling them self our leaders. Olori buruku ni gbogbo won. God will punished themBut it was yaradua that approved the first 7b, the problem now is that the civil servants handling the project FCDA requested for more 9b that was when alarm was raised. |
onatisi: i think you are wrong in this area, the fg prepares the budgets ,the presidents present the budget to the senate and reps for debate and approval , it is after this the amended budget proposal is not sent back to the president to sign which then makes it legal , so gej must have had time to deliberate about this 16billion naira project for his vp.what must have happened was that they wold have thought that Nigerians wont react the way they are reactingYou are wrong brother on this issue, this is how it is. 7b was approved during yaradua's tenure as president for the construction of vp house, the money was budgeted for. When senate committee on Federal capital territory was performing their oversight function they found out that the project have not been completed. Smart Adeyemi asked the minister why it has not been completed the minister had to. Beckoned to the FCDA secretary and then announced another 9b will be needed to complete the project because they need to put funiture, security and other things. That was when Smart raised alarm. This is the real story I don't know what concerns Gej on this issue. But they say unesy lies the head that wears the crown. |
[s][/s] Raw-bish. You're a f00l if you think GEJ is Ignorant
So u know everything about how Nigeria is governed, even in your local government how many things do u know there. You re one of those scoring that cheap political points. So Gej must be everywhere what is the essence of having lieutenants? |
Somebody want to live in a 16b house while our roads are death trap, no security for the masses, health care delivery is zero, good food is out of the reach of the masses. When their plane starts to crash now they will say people are rejoicing in their misfortune but its God that is fighting them. He will continue to fight them untill we have leaders that will have the love of the people at heart. How. Can the people be suffering in the presence of plenty. I weep for this country |
How silly Of President Jonathan To Go On His Knees At Redeemed Camp Again I am watching Channels TV News@10 and the sight before me is highly disappointing!!!!! After waving and smiling sheepishly to the crowd and delivering his score-card speech, the shoeless fool once again knelt down with all of his Presidential anointing in PUBLIC before Pastor Adeboye. VERY DISGUSTING!!!!!! Does this man knows the implication of that singular action on the psyche of the 150M Nigerians, many of whom are muslims and men of other faith, whose sovereignty he holds for them in trust? This man is truly very foolish and a clown[/quote love-vendor Lucifer or what do you call your self. What is wrong for a president to kneel before God. You just hate this man unjustly. Why can't you be focused may be one day you too will become a counsellor in your ward and see how tedious and frustrating it is to rule. Wonder how far you will go in life if you continue like this. This is a whole president of Nigeria you are talking to like this. As small as GGhana is I never saw any citizen of that country talking dis respectively about their president like this. Poor you |
