1. Herpes
"If a person has a herpes lesion that is on an area of the groin or pelvis that is not covered by the condom, then transmission from that lesion can occur," Sasan explains. 2. HPV
HPV is the most common STI—if you're sexually active, chances are you'll be exposed to it at some point in your life. Some strains can cause genital warts but others don't, which is why many people never know they have it. And even without warts present, HPV can be passed with skin-to-skin contact. Some strains can lead to cervical cancer, and while there's evidence that condom use reduces cervical cancer risk, there isn't direct evidence of its ability to prevent specific HPV strains, both "dangerous" and not.

3. Molluscum
Molluscum is a virus that manifests as tiny little bumps on the skin. It's not a very familiar STI, because it doesn't cause any long-term health problems and is typically asymptomatic other than the appearance of bumps. "It’s a skin condition commonly transmitted between kids, but in adults you usually see it sexually transmitted," Rowen says. Women will typically notice it on the vulva. The small, round bumps can appear anywhere from two to three months after the time of infection, and may itch or feel tender to the touch.

4. Pubic lice (crabs)
"Pubic lice is not super common anymore, since people groom more now," Rowen explains. But if you're rocking a full bush, you do have a chance of catching pubic lice from an infected partner. Since lice lay eggs and live in the hair, a condom will do diddly squat to keep you safe.

5. Syphilis
Syphilis presents as a firm, round, and usually painless sore, called a chancre. "Just like herpes, [a condom] is not going to protect you, depending on where the sore is located," Rowen says. Wearing a condom decreases the likelihood it will spread, and can be effective if the chancre is covered by the condom, but if it is located on a part of the penis that's exposed, it can be transmitted.

Few months ago after having unprotected sex with my fiancee who recently told me that she's being whitish discharge from her p part,I noticed that I started experiencing itches in my right arm and started scratching it. It's often funny how it's easy to put blame on the women when. Situation like this rises. Bro please just like someone said, try to invest more on urself and I pray ur situation changes. I can Neva av roommate again in my life or advise someone to do. I had a roommate in my year one in sku that year. He happened to b a friend we studied together in sec sch, but bcus my admission was delayed he got admission b4 me. So by the time I gained admission, he's one year ahead of me. Then the journey began. At first I thought it was the sec sch vibes we go continue not knowing this guy wan dey form seniority 4 me. He would leave for school very early leaving the chores for me to do. Still on still I would do it cus I hate make room dey scattered yet he took everything I did then as imperfect and painted me black before our Co housemates. ( Though I was victorious, cus everybody later knew the kind of guy he was). The funniest day was the day my then girlfriend came to visit me in the lodge. As a normal guyman wey get OT, I expected him to vacate d room 4 d moment. U won't believe dz guy now started going out and coming in every second. I told him its not proper, he said no b only me get room. Me wey be street boy. Na so me and my girl started kissing intentionally 4 his presence. That was when he now left the room.

But seriously the guy gave me tough time. He can keep malice. There was a day I bought a bag of pure water and as I was taking it inside our housemates asked 4 some which I gave them out and took the remaining ones inside. U won't believe that despite the fact that my roommate saw me taking the pure water inside, he now went to the balcony and started shouting WHO HAS PURE WATER O, HE'S THIRSTY. You've really described my roommate,we went to the same secondary school too,due to my delayed admission he's now in final year and I'm at my penultimate year. He has all the attributes of your roommate. Though our relationship is a win-win relationship. We're studying the same course but a year different level. So l benefit by using his handouts,I rarely buy handouts starting from 100L,and I'm the one clearing room an washing plate. So it's a win-win relationship.
