Knowall Lagos state has a limited budget, its partners are ready to work with it on the Lagos Badagry road, a road that is different from the Oshodi Apapa one, let the FG take one while Fashola takes the other shikena. |
We all know that Beaf is an intelligent poster with a warped idea of what a good government is, GEJ is the most clueless of the lot, I can not believe that we can even see something good in Yar Adua when compared to GEJ. Nigerians should just be patient, we have not seen anything yet, we still have 3 years of clueless leadership to go through. |
Sanusi must be giving some people nightmares, I hope some people will not develop high BP because of this Islamic banking, if Sanusi is trying to empower the Northern people in the banking sector, let Southerners tell their bankers to stop putting their hands in the till, they should run banks in the proper manner. |
I wonder why people are complaining, it is simple logic, if your responsibilities increase, you will need to cut waste, infact, you will need to forego some things, Fashola is saying and doing the right things, let GEJ emulate him by reducing waste at the federal level. |
Happy Birthday to a Nigerian who does not care whose ox is gored as long as the right thing is done, you will know those who are working when they look older than their ages due to the burden they carry, may God give us more of Sanusi in other spheres of our lives ( and less of GEJ). |
Eko Ile tell them o, the FG takes over 50% of the allocations and yet is not living up to its responsibilities. |
Enyo, A lot of people down south have made up their minds on Sanusi, nothing you say will make them change it, if all these policies were being done by a southerner, he will be hailed to high heavens, I just like Sanusi because he is not afraid to leave the job. Soludo mentioned Shariah more than twenty times yet no one is shouting about that, Sanusi is implementing policies people are shouting, El Rufai once said if he is given the reins of Lagos, even omo oniles will not be able to live in the state. |
Thanks for the response @paddy and Dis guy. |
The question I have is if $37 billion is a good debt, why did we rush to pay when we had about $32billion? Sanusi just needs to do his Phd at ABU and he will be respected, he might need to change religion as well (but he has three wives sha). |
We need all the help we can get, CIA, FBI, MOSSAD, we just enter into agreements with our eyes open. |
This should not even be about Jonathan and I am sure Bakare wanted people to know the hypocrisy of our religious leaders, GEJ is free to associate with anybody he deems fit, all we ask for is good governance. |
As it is in the public sector, so it is in the private sector, our banks could have asked for guarantees but, they are always quick money schemes, they do not know the meaning of patience, deals that would have paid them in the long run are usually done with selfish interests behind them. |
Bros tone down the grammar, great things in life are simple. |
I thank God for my wife, infact, I over thank him, if this story is true, this man has really really suffered, kai it is not easy o. |
All these Akingbola and ibru agents on Nairaland, you guys can shout from now till tomorrow, Islamic banks are here to stay. |
Naijaway has got it right |
Why is the government afraid to deregulate and liberalize the power sector, why are they pushing privatisation, selling PHCN will only create a monopoly and we will suffer for it. |
I only rate Ezekwesili out of them, Nnaji is too focused on selling PHCN ( he should push for deregulation and liberalization), Okonjo Iweala will probably pay her bosses the debt we are owing them, Soludo will look the other way when guys are acting dubious, Dora is a chameleon who is only concerned about political survival and Aganga is a nonentity. They are all brilliant individuals sha o. |
I am not a great fan of Okonjo Iweala, but, she should be provided all the security she needs and whoever is behind the threats should be fished out and prosecuted. |
She works for the world bank -60 in my estimation, she paid her employers when she was finance minister, another minus 10, she needs to prove that she is coming to work for Nigerians and not her employers, by the way, she is complaining of recurrent expenditure, why did she not forfeit her salary afterall, she can never be poor again. |
People are blinded by religious bigotry, I used to think that Christians were above the my religion is better than yours, Nairaland has sadly changed that belief, some people can not stand muslims or people of other faiths excelling in their chosen field, Okonjo Iweala is lauded for debt relief (something I do not support, she only made sure her employers were paid) while the planning guy who played a major role was not even acknowledged, remember that the southern press is Christian dominated so some of the news we get to hear are slanted. |
How many Islamic radio stations have been licensed, how many mosques are there in Owerri ( I know of only one), let Christians push for Christian banking principles, I am still waiting for our MOGs to start their own banks based on their religious beliefs. |
What the woman did was wrong, she should be made to pay the bill and she should be sent back to Nigeria when the kids are fit enough to travel, her support circle is her husband who is in Nigeria, when I went to Dubai and fell ill, I went to the hospital, was treated and had to pay before leaving the hospital. |
