There is more to this story, will it be resolved, I doubt. A man who showed no sign of depression, forget his family never visited story, they are everywhere in Abj seeking for contracts or hustling the richer ones better hotels and the last 1 year many of them have started leaving the country back to where they came from as those free contracts aren't coming anymore. Back to the story, how can a man who screamed Yeh!!! as though in pain run back to the burning room and he didn't run in but waited till neighbours came to meet him standing? This man was killed or died watching the game with someone and the witnesses or whoever killed this guy setup that fire. Now they say he was burnt beyond recognition because to them it's a closed case. And for those saying his neighbours went to persuade him,let me ask after breaking down a door "they were persuading him?" Have you ever seen such instance where the victim is being persuaded or would have been bundled out?Time shall time, time. |

When GEJ wanted to cripple this forum by splitting it not many understood, and not many could tell why he was bent on destroying an agency ordinarily he would have benefited from. They are the worst thing that ever happened to the nation, can anyone tell me how beneficial this forum is to the states they represent other than threatening the government? Ordinarily one would have seen these governors use this platform for projects negotiation and other developmental policies, no they use it to intimidate government. How can you engage consultants and even agree to pay directly on a money belonging to the state, without the states assemblies voting such expenditure? And if there is a general contribution to this forum by states how many assemblies approved this expenditure in their budgets? Oh so these monies are free flying money every governor feels he can decide how its spent and the anit corruption agency should not ask questions? They can threaten anyone and go free, and yes want the President to call the Head of anti corruption agency to order, imagine! and you want us to give them state police? That will be so wrong. Even if Nigerians dont get to ask, the anti corruption agency with full government shouldnt? One would have expected if they feel they are treated wrong to have atleast had little respect for the anti corruption fight and written to the agency offering to make available every explanation. But no, they are too powerful. I feel so terrible at these guys because I have waited all years hoping to see any usefulness of this body, but no. |
There are certain jobs you do and you're exposed to so much, palmwine cutting is one.For some reason they have been useful when they decide to and security agencies have cracked cases through their help.Exposing this particular source of information is the worst mistake I have seen and highly unprofessional. Now all cutters would become endangered or scared to come forward ;that is if this particular one is not even targeted by groups plying this crime in that territory. This should have been handled properly, what's the rush everytime to add sensation to the news? |
Signs of depression! Germany is led by a woman, tell me the feeling is different there. Refusal of both genders to accept a role and stay responsible for continuous existence is sad, really sad. And Yes a woman trained, maybe fathered and married by a Nigerian man just resumed as 2nd in UN...she is also a woman, a Nigerian woman |
Lack of communication or unhealthy one is key always key I keep telling people. Some would say let what happened in the past remain in the past and they only care about the future that's also perfect but for this case how can this be explained? In relation even if no intimacy but it should be discussed freely and let the partner make his or her choice. Afterall you kissed ;would give room for understanding and issues cared for rather than put a partner in a position to decide if he or she can live with something after full commitment. Not like am advocating putting your story out there. No wonder some partners don't even know about an ailment until almost wedding...not fair...no partner has to bear the burden left by the past if he or she doesn't want to and should be given the chance early to decide. Dear friend,it's your life...sort it out,if you chose to stay make it work. But be sure she is interested in healing,if not you will get frustrated by the time she heals and the circle continues...pain. The thought of this your first time will make you frightened each time you want to ever sleep with her...no male ever pray to. experience what you did...not many males would ever want to be with her intimately because of feeling of pity, but you get to decide how you want it to stay...many will tell you support her but you gauge ur strength and chose what you want to do...would be beautiful if you go through this healing together but both must show desire I repeat...because sometimes rescued partners who played no part seem to wear out the relationship in long run..goodluck with whatever you decide |
Folaroyal:Please help me out here with this example as that's what I like for someone to be clear on. An applicant has 16000CAD equivalent in his account, father second sponsor has an account of 100,000,000 last six months flow and balance of 30,000,000 Naira pledges 5,000,000 per annum=21,000CAD and 42000cad for two years.what will be his available fund? will it be safe to say 58,000CAD? I am trying to understudy a pattern for each application I have read insufficient fund whether there is a relationship to how those columns were filled and majority of those always have filled rooms and board less than 10,000 and others low too. Please when you clear the above I want everyone who has gotten trv to include in the documents submitted, tell this house what you filled in tuition, rooms and board, others and available funds columns. Will appreciate that |
Mikymiko:Sorry for that, I think you should do the following: 1.Order for your file 2.submit back same documents but review your SOP and tie your undergrad to this masters, if possible include the core part of your statement of intent which you submitted to the faculty and indicate that was your statement that was considered for admission in your SOP to embassy. 3. You need to prove the usefulness of this course somehow to your career pursuit, if you can include various job adverts and if you have undertaken any projects even if volunteer. As long as you have even if one year experience on a role, your undergrad can be in any course but I feel any VO would approve your masters in a field you have career progression in. 4. On your fees and available funds; fees=actual tuition, rooms and board make it 10,000, others make it from 6000, I also think your available fund is low(let someone pls comment on the amount you declared) | If you can please ask your sponsor to transfer N5M to your account.| where your sponsor isnt direct family there must be an evidence of real commitment like transfer and not just affidavit(my opinion). Its not easy to think straight at this time but try to look at this case objectively. Try not to attack the VO reading your new SOP but try making it look like you unknowingly didnt supply all the explanation in first application. Please take any review seasoned members of this group will do on my submission. Wish you success N/B: I think this forum has to exhaust a discussion on how to feel that column for funds on application form, because I feel when not properly filled would certainly give insufficient fund even if your account is huge. |
Commendable just like the borrowing to states some months back, but who is always trying to frustrate the effort of the federal government? Because since most states are on loans and any money into their accounts with commercial banks gets deducted first why is the CBN not crediting the accounts for staff owed arrears and those of pensioners? Is someone in CBN and Finance constantly trying to assist banks recover bad loans by abusing his or her position thereby influencing that money be constantly released in a cover for "salary arrears"? Afterall CBN accept mandates why is it hard to accept beneficiaries list and where in doubt forward to EFCC for vetting? Who is making the effort of this government not to have any noticeable effect? |
StOla:Yet they get elected, serve 2 straight tenure. Yet their economy don't collapse like one I know in Africa which did in one year. And somehow yet Americans run to Republicans after your democrates have fixed the economy? Dear you need to understand a people can make a choice and be allowed to live with it.Whether right or wrong it's their choice, constantly judging it might be considered weird because aside the ability to make a choice, what else do they have? How can we claim to know how all humans must live their lives? Denying them the only essential part of live? Just like rather than Nigerians explore means to adopt to this style of governance are busy ranting online daily or wakeup to go to complain on TV,maybe because to blame requires less energy. Pls try to allow America enjoy their new leader, afterall North Koreans do and none of these nairaland self appointed political analysts ever get to review that...why the obsession with America? |
davodyguy:50-2 states award electoral votes on a winner takes all for college votes |
Try to read the provision if both candidates don't make 270,about the provision of who then votes for president and vice....the Senate and House will vote. Last I checked Republicans own both houses. The American people have chosen, wish particularly Nigerians can respect that...even the woman has moved on |

Long overdue, I woke up this morning hoping to create a thread on this. You need to come to these communities hosting marginal fields to see how they are abandoned. Take for instance Rivers State, Oyigbo produces 22,000bpd higher than the quantity of oil Lagos is boasting of and this local government with about 30 oil wells have no roads and housing a high capacity gas plant, typically abandoned and regarded as Igbo extraction while the major tribes hold power in the state and treat these guys like second class. Shell drilling in this LGA with these quantity of oil has no existing MOU and this community has not for once broken any pipe. They deserve their 13% paid directly to them; rather than to state that they will not benefit anything. Worse case, ask these communities to identify projects they want since you have refused giving them even if 5% stake in the oil drilling done on their land, setup a development agency made up of natives and contracts awarded to be reviewed, approved and monitored by the agency.Completion publicized and where there are violence by bad youths let the world know rather than use it as an excuse to eat the disbursed funds and abandon contract and for God's sake there are security agencies to be deployed to contract sites and their allowance can be built in the contract. Do not pay them any more allocation from federation account and watch these communities grow. Yes each contract must employ 80% youths from the area except there is no trained, and where there is none, develop a training program like the gas plant did and shared slots to each community. That will show you have their interest. But as always the government will look the other way. Who is really interested in not developing the oil bearing communities, I ask? |
As much your life doesn't depend on it,port. They attempted it with me last year after using a line for 12years.All you need do is try to register and the moment it's opened port so you maintain your line. If you sue,how can you prove they blocked your line when the technology is with them. A relation was reliably inform that all 0803 has that problem of being updated as they are old lines,so except you want to keep having this problem and complaining online daily, port atleast we all get to have peace. |
Nigerians don't understand, if the governor had allowed this,he would have lost everything. The guys in ropes would never have ever forgiven their own who allowed a senior arrested like a mere thief under his watch as the legal profession has really worked hard to be self regulating. I really pity the can, because this thing will not end well.Previously. agencies of govt has been targeted in courts with judges feeling other arms saying executive think they can intimidate them now it's full blown war.I really pity any govt lawyer going to court this period. Little respect and engagement of the judiciary would have helped as though there are bad eggs they have shown to be treating their corruption unlike the executive n legislatures |
francotorti:Kai,poverty is bad.May God deliver you my brother. Did OP complain to you that he cannot buy? I see ladies load their cloths to their friends who has a machine a weekend to wash, some load drive to market and by the time they are back it's done. Running a home involves reasonable level of responsibility, sometimes expenses are negotiated depends on level of respect. Take for instance, how can you watch your woman even your own blood sister who is a working class travel 6hrs come see you and will cook and wash sometimes 1-2hrs. Why am I reasoning with my small brain?Just maybe the poverty will leave you dear. How can washing of cloth be an issue in a relationship for two adults who are in a relationship and use their time for something useful?Cloth! Seriously? |
They can accuse us till eternity,my brothers will never accept who we are not. How is your problem the name of a people, either you accuse them of becoming a state just so they are not part of your "yeye" struggle in which no development has proved why you wanted succession or you accuse them of taking your houses or changing their names. One thing has been clear, show us a document atleast just one to show Umu and it will help alot but like always nothing rather than online articles that could have been written by anyone. We wouldn't blame you, land grabbing is a trait. How come they don't go for Epeye people too since they are small,no they are like the Ogonis they want Afam atleast there are oil wells and power plant. Then we ask,how can you justify people's origin by their size? Do you know the Oyigbo Bini people of Ondo or the Asa river of Kwara state, that the Oyigbo people of Rivers who are Asa do not lay claims? That the only claim this clan has us a small town in Abia who was said to have left Rivers and settled in Abia and for the lack of records there can never be marriage between them. This same Oyigbo Asa has 14 villages and 1 is from Rumoula. The people of Rivers state whether riverine or upland have their cultures and history is clear as can be proved from generation to generation and no blackmail can make a people lose their true self. Show us there the people from Ikwerre migrated from the East if there is.How come you all run home during census, why dnt those originally from Rivers also return home from East? Finally consider Kalabari and Ijaw, both have oil but each still maintains their salient cultures that differentiate them and a Degema man cannot because he is from Riverine assume an identity of the larger ethnic group just because you want him to. NB: Dnt mind me, angered by the hypocrisy that accompanies this subject anytime it comes up. |
There is this thing called washing machine. It's now cheap, you can buy one, while she is busy in kitchen you can operate it and you both have more time making out or other productive thing.Moreso it doesn't expire so you both might need it once your efforts in making babies yield effort |
Pardon me to say it as it's in my mind. Your Bro is mean, yes. He is the reason most husbands don't let inlaws close and if you don't cage him this guy will give you problems after marriage. How do I feel he knows something about your finances?Whatever growup! Sell that damm car and open something for yourself if you can't bear saying no to him.Something to give you cab money or register it under uber and let uber asign u a driver. He is not under an attack, you are. He is an uber driver with credit of 700000 means he is reliable and wouldn't find it difficult finding a driver job with uber. Why do I feel even if this thread gets to page 80 you will never take any tough decision that for once satisfies you and you alone, that is the reason he has and will always use you. Please don't make this your future husbands burden,it will be unfair. You don't need any elder to decide.I met a 30yr old graduate whose sister has given till Dec to find a job or relocate home after feeding him for 2yrs and he hasn't earned 100naira,this is his younger sister with 2kids paying fees in Abuja and the worst is she is housewife and yet to graduate and the husband is bearing all these alone. I must warn don't tempt a man later with how much he can bear from ur siblings. I wish you luck whatever you decide including babysitting a 29yr old who has vowed to ruin you.Check your blood pressure regularly too |
Do the following, document the job you did and your instruction to the company instructing them to pay this fellow. attach all these and get a law firm to write the efcc, copy attorney general office on mutual legal assistance and ministry of foreign affairs as well as us embassy embassy. Make the efcc understand you assume the doj of usa accepts formal requests through the attorney gen office on mlat and you will like this treated as such. Attach all possible details of this fellow and your communucations and watch bim loose his stay in usa. moreso efcc gets to have a case on him anyday he returns. If you.like copy the nia but more agencies you copy the better as all will treat. Also copy the office of the secretary to government of the federation. But if the money isnt legit pls ignore. These things happen in 80% of the time once your money gets in pockets of persons not directly related who base abroad.Same story.Do not ever let your money enter into the hands of a NIgerian abroad n matter how well he is doing. Thank me later |
Tell her she didn't need to ask. Nature is so beautiful all you have to do is look and you can tell his size and skin texture of even hers. Don't ask me how, look dear closely you will know even when it's rested and max, size it can go when up.I tell you everything is in the open unknowingly to many |
Sir,they will send a politician your way soon and it might even be the vice president. Please I beg you in whatever you believe don't change this decision. Pair with Oliseh and get something outside not Nigerian clubs. The pay is less but steady and you have alot of time to care for your health. This system deals with the brightest and like them cheap while retaining you through cheap blackmail you think it's goodwill. Do they know what's like maintaining sanity with high expectations of Nigerians and in turn no salary to meetup your personal needs?Look at the health of any of our coaches! I shall not mourn you |
This has been my pain. Why so much resources to the region yet nothing to show. Why do the elites of the region so greedy because if they dnt benefit someone would be asking to see the projects. |
