I am no fan of pdp or Apc but how can anyone look at a discussion that has divided this country into 2 and call it noise,it takes only a man who has no known successful case since he started prosecuting EFCC cases. One day we will even ask how he was offered that job and how many other Nigerians did apply and what his pay is.A man who could present a photocopy as evidence rather than a certified true copy which even a new litigation clerk cannot miss.

I believe if a number of citizens want something, then we should consider it.In a sane society simple things like traffic light I a group wants it at a point, it must be looked into.Doesnt matter how you see the class of persons but you must listen.Just like in Middle belt killings, someone must listen but then its Africa

DonXavi:
Is like buhari dont understand english here!! I read what the former Ministers told buhari but from his response it seems he needs a translator, they never asked him to stop his anti corruption war, they even back him, but warned him to stop unnecessary insult and attack on ex president Jonathan, and they even promised to be ready for probe but that he should treat everybody equally.
My dear I read this reply and and like wow, thats early.
It happens to every Nigerian leader mostly around 2nd year in office, every Nigerian becomes his enemy. His advisors have finally caged him and shut him out.He thinks he in auto drive but doesnt know jack only to wakeup around end of 3rd year. Its what killed all their sound start.
Then I asked even if Shehu didnt read the press statement, how about the 15 advisors? There is a reason every law student admitted passes LSAT and lnat, logic component is vital.Even if these ex officials ever called against corruption war(which would have ended any career they ever dreamed of),how can the office of Mr.President sound this low in less than 6months in office?
I doubt if this statement came from them, sincerely and I will really like these spokes persons to have a medium of releasing statements like the state house site so things don't spread falsely.

The rate of crime in Abuja now is something else.
Everyone should watch out and not let the guilds down.
Watch where you park and atleast park around a populated area and avoid isolated corners.Stop being at busstops at night alone as even drivers will tell you why they run the traffic lights at night as stopping could get you robbed.
Please guys, stay safe and may God preserve and bless our effort at staying alive
TravelRe: Daylight Corruption In Immigration Office, Ibadan by here: 9:02am On Aug 06, 2015
The amount of fraud and sad experience Nigerians are made to pass through at passport offices and no one cares to fix is a practical example of what we have. With that amount you will be sent to the VIP where they have one and you capture and collect same day or next.
The question is why is it so difficult to fix just the suffering Nigerians go through at every instance. there is a queuing system but during every evaluation of service centers the evaluator must grade the effectiveness and then how many hours it takes to be attended. This is the international standard. When you go to the VIP you scan quickly but go to the general and see how persons waste the whole day

when the Police come to arrest you, dont resist, comply, don't try funny things and you won't be dragged on the floor...you all think the Police just got to the guy, pushed him down and started dragging him!??No...let's think beyond what we see...he must hv left him no choice...people tend to misbehave n b disrespectful when a lone policeman comes to enforce d law.
No human deserve this.
Even a convicted murderer takes his bath and is given clean cloths washed by someone to wear to where he is executed.
This is the mentality that we are against, dont worry soon people will find a way to deal with this as you and others feel its right.Sorry about my tune just disappointed you can find a reason to justify this. Do you know why most blacks run from arrest abroad? Not because most are bad, but because there have been stories of evidence being planted. Then imagine what could happen in this part of the world. No police officer in practice effects an arrest in this type of environment we are looking at and more so with a riffle. Care and custody of suspects as taught even in Nigerian police colleges ensures that you cannot even transport a suspect on speed boat handcuffed. His safety is your responsibility.

We are Africans,we don't speak against the departed even if we had to make a point we atleast pray for repose of their Souls. These politicians take it personal anytime anyone works against them directly.
Why was Dangote so interested in buying when all years they painted it that those refineries can never work? Why wasnt he given license to build smaller sizes and operate? Every government complains of pressure and consulting widely, even Abacha and confirmed by IIBB,the question is who are these guys who gets to decide everytime and why does everyone keep hidimg their names,I expected obk to have asked him to give him the names of those who pressured him
He didnt even tell the Ex-president's final reply because as always he believes Nigerians are gullible and would buy only his version.
Dangote has cement and till date I wonder where he has the interest of Nigerians based on his prize and allowing of middle men and the alleged policies of him in the past using government to take over factories of competitors like the Koreans story during the same government Obj is complaining. He took over cement factories that would have offered less when completed,he gets government assist more than anyone else and no one asks if all others get same.
Dangote could build power plants too, atleast he was in Lagos to show he can.Why didnt Obj give him that too
Whats about the refinery that is my point

According to one certain HR,

"Most CV envelopes (hard copy), of people that manage to submit in person, or by proxy, are either saturated with Olive oil... or one tiny goodluck charm or the other..." undecided

we now live in the ERA, where people say "Its either I get the job, OR the HR goes blind" grin

These HRs, I feel their pain sha embarassed
Just to ask,how do we then think those in mail rooms of both corporate and NIPOST survive?
Do you know there was a time when you get letter it was garri that was used to seal it?
We have learnt to survive. Do you have any friends in management positions in Nigeria? Ask them their experience, some get to work and find even charms or oil at various places like at doors or even seeds under their table;infact I learnt of one whose tea cup was poisoned.
Welcome to Africa bro, but rather than mourn it we have learnt to live with it.

No sector of the economy grows faster than the other, one must rely on the other.
I asked in this forum the last time and no one answered what is the difference between resume and cv?
From your post you have no business being in HR.just because you helped post and advert and sort CVS you believe you know about recruitment?
What application did you use? Every developed system emplyes applications rather than excel and cheap labour used here and have you noticed placement of add and sorting of CVS is left for interns and associates? Do you know the difference between recruitment officer, compensation and benefits and career development /performance officer in HR?
You cannot define who applies and in a sane society every application deserve a reply whether rejection or acceptance and when rejected the reason.Do you know in Australia even in interview an applicant can reques to see the paper you scribbled anything during the interview and you must show him.
All jobs on monster are also on employer site and union site and other sites and even lower qualified are replied that they will be added to database for future reference. You just paint our backward HR like its ok on how low they are and their process is.Wakeup dear! I really wish can see who gave you that job.How can you give sorting of professionals to such person?Yes I just contacted an HR of a company in Canada for a friend who is a student there and she requested the resume and even informed me when in the year they take student interns and will forward the resume to her executive when its time.Imagine that? I can tell this your opinion is confirmed by the HR you worked with, its sad

But really what edge does he have over you that he treats you with such manner I can feel from miles, is it inter tribal marriage?
I sincerely think the problem is not your inlaw but your husband, trust me your husband. I don't have a suggestion on how to deal with that as I do not have the full story but trust me you need to win you man back and take some woman control(not nag). A man can cheat outside but when his wife has some control he knows his boundries, trust me but it requires wisdom and if you really think he is into you and makes some moves it shows he and your husband shares a lot more than we can see and you really need to be careful healthwise. Take it cool and don't let the annoyance get to you. A spouse can get the road blurred and get dirty, if you can clean him/her up and live with it then its ok if not thread with care and take your decision. Watch your peace of mind, its the most important no matter how this ends.Wish you luck

The court will need to know is it a ptactice for cbn to allow such and has it be done before, the withdrawal I mean if no why is the cbn not being charged alongside?
The the NSAtakr any step yo recover it and how come onr man is charged?
This comes to case of El Rufai under whose watch stories of nysc members being those who received money from sales and rather than take to bank or Institute an automated system for payments, they were storing money in cupboards and non was paid to government and people supported when he was asked how come because in real sense aside negligence what exactly ties him to the loss.

This is like cases of sales girl sent to bank eho claimed was robbed, and is detained to produce the money, aside sentiment how is this her fault. If you have a case take it to court and stop this news papers publications.
PoliticsThe Fraud In Forex( (naira To Usd,euro And GBP) by here(op): 11:09am On Jul 19, 2015
I just completed a transaction and checking online I saw 153 Naira to 1CAD and this made me smile as weeks back it was 164Naira to 1CAD,means it dropped. Then I used a Nigerian Mastercard debit and on completing I was deducted 184Naira to 1 CAD.

I know its the responsibility of the CBN to manage monetary policies and I keep wondering, why are our transactions in the major currencies considering our currency exchange with Rand,UAE and Canada has been stable.Who is benefitting from this knowing shortage in supply could trigger scarcity and pressure yet CBN still went ahead. to reduce supply. If you enter the banking hall more currencies are listed on the board but not available.During Sanusi it was on record that CBN cameout to say they make money from shortfall so why are we suffering from these? The crude being sold in what currency are they selling and if they accept dollars it means we dump dollars so why doesnt it make any impact on naira? We gave license for fuel to only opec countries so how come they pay in dollars and not the currencies of these countries

I mightnt be an economist but I think I deserve better answers.Dont tell me about its equivalent or the gregorian factor.I am saying if we do cad or Rand direct or uae based on volume of transactions with them then who needs us dollars? will the burden still be on naira? At every of their policies its Nigerians who must pay,why is that?
PoliticsRe: Inside Story Of Why Dasuki Is In Trouble by here: 9:08am On Jul 18, 2015
Why does this office NSA exist, can someone please tell me what law established it?
Why and how could anyone accuse it of taking over funds meant for defense when he didnt take the money himself, who was the minister of finance who diverted the money meant for defence to an office not stipulated in the budget approved by National assembly. Did NSA get authority to incure expenditure? why are the finance minister and accountant general's place not invaded too?
Allegged everywhere and you wonder whether these guys just like rumors or feel Nigerians are animals.
In the search aspect, the search warrant usually list and other incriminating evidence just to cover anything that might be found, how is anyone's passport that except maybe to shoe he traveled to some countries they can establish illegal transactions by him or his cronies.
I feel really bad not that this ex NSA is treated this way but the way the whole system still works and leaving it to ridicule because they feel nothing would happen. If an ex official has a case does Nigerians not need to knw why he is harrassed.Except like always Nigerians are regarded as fo-ols except dyrung elections. How can sun carry a news and use "alleged" and expect me to buy their papers?
EducationWhy Is It Difficult To Apply For Transcripts From Public Universities In Nigeria by here(op): 4:14pm On Jul 14, 2015
I really would wish to know why it is difficult to apply for transcript from abroad or your present location and why it is necessary for most schools to require you have to travel down to the school or send someone and infact most cases would require to practically beg or "push" it even after you have paid the required fees for processing and applied.

Does it take more than you make payment in whatever location you are in and fill a form on the website as most schools have websites indicating your details and destination and possible teller or payment details for confirmation on a link that can be provided on the website(since most schools now have),which will give you a reference number and atleast a phone to call after 14days to confirm status? I ask because this is becoming annoying when you cannot just do this thing yourself through any means and have to rely on asking someone to travel miles for you risking their lives.

Please what do you think is the problem and what schools have any form of transcript reprocessing system?
EducationRe: 7 Nigerian Universities With The Strongest Alumni Bodies by here: 4:07pm On Jul 14, 2015
The alumni office in most sane societies aside helping gather ex students to achieve development, runs the scholarship office. They employ staff who makes cold calls and reach former students thereby maintaining statistics of responding, non responding and employment situation of former students also enabling networking, where chief executives who are ex can reach out to school and encourage job seekers to apply for opportunities announced but primarily they run the scholarship from donations received.
I have seen persons donate single handedly equipment and facilities worth millions of dollars just to help their institutions they graduated from many years ago, if you ask me I do not believe based on any familiar contributions of the above named schools that any of them have an organized office aside the websites and cannot award them that "strong" status.
PoliticsRe: Court Papers Reveal That The NIC Never Reinstated Sacked Rivers Chairmen by here: 11:04am On Jul 14, 2015
dekdek:
The AG is just trying to spin this one but he has failed. An incompetent fool that should be sacked by any sane government. No APC lawyer was in court Yesterday yet he failed in his bid.
He approached the Court in Bayelsa asking the court to set aside her earlier judgement in June while parading the High court judgement in court but the NIC refused to do so despite acknowledging that indeed Akanbi made the judgement.
The NIC made no new order neither did she set aside the one she earlier made in June as requested by Aguma the AG. This simply means that the order is still valid and must be respected.
Both the High court and NIC are federal courts with equal powers. Wike cant just agree to obey one and disobey the order. Pending when a superior court (federal appeal court) makes a superior order, the order is valid. The AG should just shut up. He failed in his bid in Beyelsa yesterday and thats the fact.
The elected LG chairmen are expected to resume this morning and i forsee a farcas if those illegal CTC chairmen confront them.
Trying to figure out, what is the position of the law when two courts of equal powers makes opposite declarations on matter of same subject, is there a law covering that or any case by the supreme court or higher court of record? What are duties of both parties in such instance?
Will it be wrong if the party with the earlier judgment files a petition to NJC on the judge who knowing about the earlier judgment delivered another or even knowing the matter was before another court decided to proceed(it can be argued whether any of the parties informed him in the open court)?
Everyday I watch the events of Rivers and I see desperation by both parties and I hold my breath knowing while we take sides, many will suffer and events might not be decent like at the last elections and I wonder, did I do right supporting a party and flaming this fight online?
PoliticsRe: Finance Perm Sec. Ignore Saraki's Invitation by here: 6:44am On Jul 13, 2015
When I see Nigerians disrespect the House by virture of maybe their wrongs I feel funny because not many understand the powers of that house. They have the capacity to grind the executive to a halt(that is the main reason APC would never forgive them, they can derail the government by their activities but that is if the gov't even has one), the PS yes as a public servant has alittle justification as he is bounded by the PS rules but that is not above the constitution which grants powers of oversight to the chambers. Whether it is the Senate president that can write him to come or house committee chairman is another subject and one needs to convince me the house committee chairman doesn't not act on behalf of the senate president(as his powers are delegated) for me to believe the Zamfara man as we wants us to believe. I hope to enjoy this next four years as this fight is healthy for our benefit and its just the judiciary I fear as that one is still under the armpit of the executive (we need to see these issues to understand each party knows their roles as provided in separation of powers). Someday we shall see issues like in the developed countries where the legislators can ban you from your career and even declare you in contempt of the house just by mere attending to an invitation and refuse to answer questions like we saw with Okonjo and many others.

If you refuse to see my point above, let me ask you how can you charge Minister of Petroleum to court without the house committee members who have oversight roles on the ministry? The monitor your roles and whoever feels its not ok can advice their lawyers in the ministry go to court to stop them like we saw in the other administration and you are aware of how the court responded. A mere vote of no confidence of the house as a resolution ought to drive the head of the executive to drive out such person because how can representatives of Nigerians(Millions) say we don't trust a man in a role and his boss will keep him? (as Maku why he had to apologize when he said the resolution of the house does not bind).

Our democracy stops being one the day an arm of government treats the other like its a department under it and by actions or inactions make Nigerians feel its is above the other. The day the chambers' committees can perform 40 of their oversight then we can say our system is making progress

Whenever you find Nigerians suffer or government agency being hard, look closely its same Nigerians rather than define what should be done demand accountability rather result to killing each other.Read the posts inthe pages its about how Wike group did similar and deserve worse or something close, yet it will be Nigerians to suffer as the lga will be paralyzed.
Not single intelligent post like what really happened from those on ground or what one thinks could havr been done to resolve it.
Someone claim pdp supporters invaded council but how can that be when same pdp now has appointees and how come with guns as claimed but no single gun exchange with security forces and how does it translate to all councils.
We always are the ones supporting these government agencies in their high handedness and we are the ones who suffer as we can never come together to ask them justify why our simple affairs should always be tampered with.
Hope we understand pdp vs Apc stand we always take wouldn't move this country forward and the painful part is these foot soldiers have no direct benefits

Permit me sound this way.
I am offended by you taking a decision based on what some faceless persons gave you and just because more of yhem seem to agree. What happened tot he saying that no real man tells his fellow to send away his woman,it tells you the age or mindset of the persons here and considering most people have an history like you who posted you are fond of doing with easy women and eanted real relationship, she atleast deserve to hear you tell her what you saw though was wrong to invade her privacy.
I think you need to sit her down and show her what you saw and let her explain atleast if you still dont feel ok you politely do as you wish.It shoes you have maturity even on the face of betrayal.

You cannot take away the place of fore.play with one you love and if you want a qui.ckie then do what it is and do not complain.
I heard someone complain of samething and I asked when he doesn't last do you atleast play with him rather than put up a face and feel he bleeped.up? and the answer was as expected; if you have a man who is early person then rather than ask him to selfser.vice get on with it and when he does in same mood play him back up and trust me the second pen.etration would last more than you. Its about self confidence and anything that takes that away can make him always run. It was meant to be fun and both parties must work for each others satisfaction, anything less is unacceptable. Imagine he is the normal person who can go 20mins after penetration, if you get overwhelmed and comes before him(many factors can make her come too early), you would also expect he should minimize pene.tration as it hurts her and no more fun and both parties must workout how to end that session happily for both.

I understand there is much frustration these days like traffic, cash, children, rent, work and all but I expect when couples get into the mood whether at office for a quick, car, kitchen, sofa or even bed each should have fun and not express disappointments at each others shortcomings(which can even be overcome when they work together).

Rather than blame a male for quick one, one needs to ask what have you done to help him,you are stuck with him and just some creativity on your path can make you live forever in heaven here on earth as you deserve.

LeOstrich:
You are indeed a slowpoke.

A Sniper covers from a "bird" location where he can have a complete aerial view from where he provides rear cover and recon to troops engaged in the battle zone.
Its sad when you find some logistical and operational errors in these photos and you are like, maybe they think viewers are naive or their commanders really lack training themselves. How can a sniper riffle be used in this case and he is the point man not the assist or cover? Then I remember you have soldiers at the front from pics we have seen with no bulletproof and in some cases where they manage to wear shortgun resistant in a front that requires riffle resistant and then no headgear and am like, what the hell is wrong with these guys? How can you send a soldier to the front with just riffles and no shortguns as backup, except for special forces I saw bearing a pistol. I can tell they are always proud with riffles but what is the flexibility to fire at random targets at close range? Yes we agree AK has least chance of jamming compared to those new guns of special forces in a sandy desert but it sure does and when it happens what becomes of a man who risks his life to keep me safe?
These guys needs to know what pictures they release to us sometimes, its not funny looking at such little things even a police on patrol or responding to an incident in low countries like Mauritius (not to mention better countries) wouldnt be seen doing

You guys don't get it. It might be true but when you look closely you will be decieved, hence rather than do some recoveries which they have no power or means to they rely on raising alarm. The NNPC has been two things, one of the many cash tunnels of every government like the cbn such that the government doesnt even know how much they have and that's my problem with when they requested to be independent.Aside having nice nice pay package operationally the place is emanced in corruption with an average manager approval limit about 3million and he can approve more than 20 in one year.
These are agencies that are not monitored and an average depore manager owns more than 3 filling stations. The CCB is sleeping and doesnt even ask assets declarations and every staff of more than 3years has his house or own more than 2 plots in Abuja if serving here but their salary couldnt have built that.
If you go there like pwc to probe, they will give you rooms filled with papers and no one has asked why have they refused to use SAP deployed. From fictitious contracts to those to families, that contracts sometimes even having been done are reawarded or amount inflated to hide unspent funds.
The president must look at NNPC,CBN and Customs and show us reforms and catch people, openup the contract process there and let Nigerians get when they apply rather than few who know thwir way around.Go there and see how contractors follow them up,averagely the building receive over 4000 visitors daily, until then disolving alone is waste as it wasnt about last administrations but how every Nigerian wants to eat all he can if he has the chance because he is afraid poor life and not sure he can benefit doing right

Its a normal thing for some its safer than having someone looking over the details of your work, only in Nigerian airports everyone is so stiff and forming one kind of class(infact looked at as the elites).
