Aloy+Emeka:

True talk. I am sure she is planning to leave anyway because Turai will not be satisfied with firing her alone; She will want a pound of flesh from her. Something like framing her up and sending her to Alagbon so she can be giving Bode George morning BJ.

LMAO! See where your mind don reach? Nice one though! grin

did you at least enjoy the company of whoever you went to the movies with?!

@post
what about reviewing THE BOOK OF ELI?

For me, Book of Eli was far less than what I expected, and that seems to be happening alot with movies these days. D only surprise was finding out he was blind at the end.

I saw a pre-screening of The Wolfman last night, total crap! I was so disappointed in Anthony Hopkins.
Politics / Re: p[p by Hesperus(m): 11:07pm On Jan 06, 2010
You are so off point.

Granted, some Nigerians (majority, TBH) cannot afford trips abroad. However, some hard-working Nigerians have good-paying jobs and can spare some cash for such. Should they now be punished as well because of the sins of a select few?

Reason.
Politics / Re: Senate Gives Obama's Admin 7-day Utimatum To Remove Nigeria From The Black List by Hesperus(m): 10:57pm On Jan 06, 2010
I think this is going too far. I am not in any way supporting the Naija senators or anything, but if this can be done to them, imagine what is in store for the common man.

To me, what America is doing is nothing short of profiling/bullying. When the shoe bomber issue arose, I don't recall Britain being put on a terrorist nation list, neither were any Britons barred. Now it is a developing nation, and they are flexing muscles.

The sauce for the goose is supposed to be that of the gander.

Politics / Re: Breaking News: CIA, FBI storm Nigeria; quiz Muttalab snr. by Hesperus(m): 11:45pm On Jan 01, 2010
The truth of the matter is that this is infact, trespassing! Their investigations are supposed to be carried out in conjunction with Naija officials. If things were the other way round and Naija did same to them, they will raise one hell of a storm!

Unfortunately, in a country like Naija, those in power will just fold their arms and watch. Afterall, it saves them the stress of having to do the work themselves.
Politics / Re: Conflicting Photo Representation Of Umar Farouk Mutallab by Hesperus(m): 10:51pm On Jan 01, 2010
I just watched news on AIT Intl, and they are still showing the 2nd picture as that of Farouk.

I am surprised that a whole AIT cannot get their facts right, and are spreading false information. I feel for the guy in question; being wrongfully labelled a terrorist is no joke!

OAM4J:

may be the guy was tired of the evil look around him, then decided to lock himself in the toilet.

It will be difficult travelling as a black man this days. I actually pity the guy.

Or maybe the guy ate some crappy, unhygienic meal on the plane, had a runny stomach and decided to lock himself there to have some privacy for proper purging! Abi to shit for plane toilet don become crime again?
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Another Nigerian Arrested On Same Detroit Route! by Hesperus(m): 9:17pm On Dec 27, 2009
I believe what happened is that the guy was unnecessarily questioned for being in the toilet, and then he lost his head. Granted, he should have understood that in the light of recent developments, security measures will be stepped up. But still, these white guys can seriously take the piss! I can imagine how they would have gone about it, making him look like a criminal even before finding anything suspicious. That alone is enough to make a man go mad.

Now it is all over the news, another Naija guy. And BBC just reported that having gone through all the luggage, NO explosives were found. Abeg make dem go siddon jare!

No where was it said he was nigerian
Haba! tongue

You might want to check on that again! I'm flipping between Fox, Sky and CNN News and they are all saying the same thing.
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Another Nigerian Arrested On Same Detroit Route! by Hesperus(m): 8:48pm On Dec 27, 2009
According to sources, he "barricaded" himself in the toilet for about an hour, and security had to break the door down!

Me, I doubt how true that is. I think the full story is not being said.
Politics / Re: Nigerian Man Attempts To Detonate Explosive On Delta Flight In US by Hesperus(m): 8:46pm On Dec 27, 2009
Na wa o! Another Naija dude again, what is going on? According to sources, he barricaded himself in the toilet for about an hour, and security had to break the door down. Same flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.

This is a nightmare!

Romance / Re: Long Distance Relationships Good Or Bad by Hesperus(m): 11:11pm On Dec 24, 2009
I am in one at the moment, and I must say it aint easy @ all! Haven't seen her for over a year now and the way things are going, it will prolly be till late next year before I see her again.

It's very tasking, but at the same time very doable. As long as both parties are really into each other, it can be done. And if it leads to the ultimate, then it even makes the story sweeter!

It's obvious mugsmasher is just seeking attention, and you guys are playing right into his hands! No right-thinking dude thinks that way.

HOW ? Olly was obviously struggling with the notes, Joe is a natural.
Ebonyeyes:

I agree Joe sounds amazing. But if he wins, he will be another Leon i.e will be dropped before the ist quarter of 2011 cry

Impossicant! Joe is the male version of Leona.
TV/Movies / Re: X-factor (Who's Watching) by Hesperus(m): 9:29pm On Dec 13, 2009
This is where we always catch Olly, when he sings slow songs. He is better at fast-paced songs.

Now, watch Joe kill the song!!!

Princek12:

Even though a lot of females will deny reality and attack me for expressing this, I will nevertheless say it. The nicer you treat a lot of women, the more they lose interest in you. We all know that it is elementary to say that nice guys finish last, and, sadly, women flock to you when you are arrogant and self-serving; it's just life. That is to say, if he was a bonafide player who played games and had a cauldron of women, the atmosphere of competition with other females may motivate her to stay. Also, if her boyfriend divided his attention among other females, the speculation about the reasons for not wholeheartedly focusing on her may also drive her to desire him more.

No, nice guys finish in the shower! Seriously tho, I totally agree with your point. I know boys who are downright mean to chicks, yet they still run to them in droves.
TV/Movies / Re: X-factor (Who's Watching) by Hesperus(m): 9:02pm On Dec 13, 2009
For God's sake! Who wants to deny that Joe is OBVIOUSLY better I mean, listen to that performance. Abeg let's call a spade a spade jo!

Hmmm. . .somehow, I have a feeling Olly will nick it this year. Joe is my favourite but from experience, the best doesn't always get it.
