You are still showcasing your stupidity, try EXCEL London or NEC Birmingham. You might make some money from it. ASUU added couple of years to your graduation yr. Never in the history of Nigeria has ASUU gone for a strike that lasted more than six/eight months. So if you were suppose to grag at 20 and ASUU made you to grag at after 20 what does that imply. Stop exposing your idiocy by trying to sound intelligent.

16 100 level, 17 200 levels, 18 300 levels. 19 400levels 20 500levels what ever ASUU strike must have added you have no buz staying in the camp more than 1 yr extra (21) unless you are dumb as u have shown.

Do u know why i am challenging you? I KNOW YOU and i KNOW when u entered and when u graduated.
You know me? lol. . .sure you do.
OOOO, look, say whatever you like, I cant come telling the story of my life on NL.
You dense mofo, if you ever passed thru Uni, you'd know that ASUU strikes are frequent and can occur multiple times in one's course. In your mind, you think you're tackling me but you just keep sinking deeper and deeper into your abyssal cesspit.

Wo, I have more important things to do than argue over an igbo thread. So carry on soliloquising. The madman you are should be used to that by now.

one would think the topic was well enough derailed when an ugly Grizzly Bear waded in handling a dated Nokia phone and aping on about some gimmicky face warp thingy.

if you look closely, the topic is about Samsung Omnia, a touchscreen highend phone. Old Symbian phones are better presented in the "fbt" thread with like-minded cretins.

and since you asked, ive had a series of iphones from 2007 to date (including about 3 iphone 3Gs), ive had series of WinMo phones, symbian (i just gave out my N95 last week) etc. ive had the smasung F480 which is just like the Omnia (including the widgets and sluggish interface), and currently i use a BlackBerry while my sis borrowed the stupid 5800 XpressMusic i got last month.judging by the delapidated celing in that picture, i think you're in jail.
@ Ex, am heartbroken! I was gonna get that phone this weekend but you've kinda got me thinking twice.

So, whats to know about the phone? Please tell.

shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked You have shown what you are. Tell that to people like yourself.
With ASUU strike you claimed that led you to Smoking Igbo at old age. The same ASUU strike let you graduate at 19/20 yrs.
You are more stupid than i thought if you feel anybody will buy your lies.
Whatz the minimum age to take JAMB? Somebody should let him know please b4 he shows more stupidity in the name of bragging.
I give up.

NB: Am just picking your flaws so no hard feeling.
Presido of Fools. Let the me break it down to you real good, as I can now see that you are a simpleton.

Since you know the minimum jamb age, what is it? Even after years and years have passed since my jamb, I still know that the brochure says you must be 16 by the time of your admission. So do the maths yourself. Too hard for you? OK, I'll help your slow brain. 16 in 100 level, 17 in 200 and 18 in 300 level. Get it? If not, try going over it again.

Unfortunately, I didnt graduate when I was 20, tho I would have loved to. ASUU added a couple of years to that.

Besides, is this bragging? And why would I brag to faceless people on the internet? Maybe you would, but def not me.

P.S: I have flaws, undoubtedly, but this is def not one of them. Besides, try removing the plantation in your eye before pointing out my speck.

@ Sukkie, right you are! I was chatting to a friend working with KPMG last week, and he was telling me how salaries had been slashed. And this has been done in many banks and blue-chip coys back home. Really, Naija doesnt seem too homely right now.

But anyway, I think at the end of the day, it all still depends on the individual. Weigh your options and decide what is best for you, even if you decide to remain here doing your not-so-perfect job. As long as you it pays your bills, and you can live with it and yourself.

Infact, I dont think I can be with a girl who wouldnt like going with me. Life with her would just get too boring.

Go back and read ma post again. I think the IGBO still clog your brain.
Itz only complex that will drive you to try smoking igbo for the first time at that age dude.
At 300 levels dudes are quitting rugged lyf to face the future while you want to join. shocked shocked shocked
Dont even talk of my school cuz it takes a lot to get the form then. Your old boy can't stand what it takes.
Ma 1st ganja was given to me by military men in uniform, use ur brain now.
You sound even more stupid with each post.

Well, if you must know, instead of smoking igbo in high school, I read my books and passed on time so I was just 18 in my 300 level. And that's a reasonable age for experimenting, IMO.

I dont know why I'm bothering to reply you, you have just proved that you are all brawn (even that is questionable) and ZERO brains.

Dont even bother to reply cos am looking past you now. You wont be able to anyway, cos the cybercafe where you work has prolly closed by now.

@ Hesperus

It's not a matter of razzness dude, My secondary school was sophisticated and people smoked cigarettes, weed, and even some rumours of cocaine. wink

What other remedies for being high are out there? cheesy
@ deboksy, of course I know dat. Boys smoked all dat in my school, dont mean everyone was doin it. I just de tasi presido, dont mind me! tongue
For remedies, sometimes just splashin cold water on the face helps. And then people say groundnuts cure highness, not sure abt that tho.

If u dey shayo u go no say the medicine na soaked garri. Ask people wey dey into it not one drag at Kuramo u wan turn crazy man. Lyt medula.

Oboy ur parents can't near my "public" school. Hope u gat wat i mean.
See dis dundee! Listen to yourself, are you making any sense? I smoked weed in 300 level , thus no mind of my own. Where is the correlation? Abeg go and display your thickness somewhere else! Oponu.

So in your mind you de shayo abi? You be real okpe!

Dude, my parents cant go near your school, and you wanna know why? Cos they prolly never heard of the bush school. Its so obvious even from your yarns that your school get as e be. And for the records, I dont do ashies, dont need them cos my game is tighter than tight. You dig?

How can u learn how to use left hand at old age? You don't have a mind of your own dude.

I started topping up right from JSS. If u wanna feel normal after the first wrap, just keep garri and water by ur side, if u feel like tboy and Hesperus just pour the water inside the garri and drink it, u will be back to yourself. Thatz the popory.

Anyway IGBO, WEED, JAMBA,GANJA is NOT GOOD for your health. Thank God I stopped.
So because unlike you, I didnt go to a razz public secondary school, I didnt indulge when I was much younger, and my parents could afford to give me good food (not garri and water), I dont have a mind of my own? You make me laugh!
CultureRe: Do You Smoke Igbo? (Marijuana Or Weed) by Hesperus(m): 12:25am On Mar 12, 2009
Yeah, I went thru a phase in my life when I smoked it, thanks to one long ASUU strike when I was in my third year.

Anyway, my first experience was quite similar to tboy, prolly worse though cos it was at the Lagos branch of Sodom and Gomorrah (Kuramo Beach). I swear, I thot I was already mad and was thinking of how I'd break the news to my mother. Kai, igbo de do person strong thing o!
Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye(redeemed Church) Acquires N4bn Aircraft by Hesperus(m): 12:15am On Mar 11, 2009
theteacher:
Dear Hesperus,
What if, for the sake of argument, He doesn't know better?

What if this difference which you speak of is one that we ourselves make up; holding people to standards they do not even measure themselves by?

The point I was trying to make is that we are not as harsh at criticizing ourselves as we are at criticizing others.

We let ourselves off easy when we falter; but tend to scream "off with their heads!" when it's someone else.

When we sin, "it's part of being human", when others sin, "it is an outrage!"

Such situations as this by Adeboye should cause us to introspect, not pass judgements we are hardly qualified to render.

P.S. He doesn't wear a crown; at least not yet! lol
I totally get your point. And mind you, they do measure themselves with the same standards we do. Thats prolly part of the problem, these pastors now see themselves as semi-gods and think others are there to do their bidding. They have completely shunned their true purpose, if they really ever had one in the first place.
Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye(redeemed Church) Acquires N4bn Aircraft by Hesperus(m): 9:53pm On Mar 10, 2009
theteacher:
@all

You know its really interesting reading the reactions to this new acquisition by the RCCG.

I am particularly intrigued by our disgust, because it is, as far as I see, an addmission on our part of an ideal that is apparently beyond the subject matter's ability to attain (thus the failure on "his' part to measure up)

While this purchase has sealed Adeboye's fate as "one of us"; as one who is not as transcendent as we had "hoped"; as one who may have taken us for a ride-since he had made us believe that he is beyond flaw; as one who is, afterall just "a man", I think it would make sense for us to look inward and ask ourselves, "what would we do if we were adeboye?"

If we were to take this case before Jesus, would he not also ask those of us "without sin to cast the first stone?".

Are we really better off than this man who as some say "ignores" poor parishioners only to recline in the lap of luxury?

Social activism is great; but social activism is greatest when we examine our "internal society"- our personal struggle with sin, with always coming short when we are needed to stand tall etc.

the point I am trying to make is that as much as it is fun to point out the shortcomings of others and in this case Adeboye's, it is important to know that sometimes "WE ARE WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD" so CHANGE MUST BEGIN WITH US.
@ theteacher, well said.

But let me just point out here that the difference between Daddy G.O and us is that we do not have a congregation. Leadership by example is what should be, thats why not everyone gets the calling to pastor. If he got the calling as he so claims, then he should know better. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye(redeemed Church) Acquires N4bn Aircraft by Hesperus(m): 3:38pm On Mar 10, 2009
What is all this about someone asking if our money is missing?
A pastor who is supposed to be leading by example goes to buy a 4 billion naira aircraft in these times and you say there is nothing wrong? That jet was bought by him with church members offering money, afterall i dont think there was any special collection for "daddy's aircraft". Besides, we havent even started talkin about the extra expenses involved - parking and landing fees, crew salaries, maintenance costs, etc. From where is that money also coming?

To me all this is totally irrelevant. How many times will that jet ever be used, compared to the cost of acquisition? If he wants to fly around in style, there's always 1st class tickets, and they are always available.

Now I read somewhere dat Oyedepo who already has one, plans to buy one even bigger than Adeboye's. Na competition now abi?

May God help us!
RomanceRe: Should I Wait For Her? by Hesperus(m): 3:23pm On Mar 10, 2009
Guy, I think if you both are ready, then go for it.

As for the issue of her getting pregnant in school, there are ways to get around that so just be careful. And if indeed she does fall pregnant, nothing spoil. In my uni days, a coursemate got pregnant, she kept attending school till she was heavy and only took some months off. She lost a year no doubt, but I still dont think she did badly. And na Enginerring we do.

So my broda, have no fear. I wish you well.

So do I. In these times, churches should be more concerned with matters of salvation and how to uplift those who need help.
I must say I expected more from RCCG.

RomanceRe: Why Do Women Love Hard by Hesperus(m): 11:27am On Mar 05, 2009
There are so many factors that come into play. Sometimes it may be the stigma of being exposed, sometimes "love", and sometimes just plain foolishness.

I knew someone in Naija who was continually beating his wife. Anytime it happened, she would leave and go back to her parents' but they would keep encouraging her to return, "afterall he is still your husband".

Guess what happened eventually? One day he was beating her as usual, and in the process threw her off the balcony. Na so she take die for love matter. The guy was arrested but while being detained, escaped custody and fled the country.
