Www.thenewboston.com learn the basics of Java, you can skip the gui since u are aiming at android. Android java is a bit different from your regular one. U need just a little knowledge on xml to start u off. The drag and drop does most of the xml for u..oh did u say programming with us android phone? We think that it's all about extortion. I once asked a former lecturer why they insist on post ume. He gave his reasons,
1) to get more qualified students, a certain set of people have very low cut off mark, as low as 10 and while other have a cut off mark of about 200. This means that those with 12 from a particular territory will get admission before those with 199.
2) something about resisting quoter system which I don't fully understand.
3) certain people use connection and bribe to get high score in jamb. It is greatly reduced in post ume as they sometimes print the questions on the day of the exam.

I dont know, I guess it is a Nigerian thing. I was using Avast, but due to performance issues - it was killing my android studio, i switched to avast which is easier for me to configure without affecting my performance.

I have used AVG (i will say the best), followed by Avast (second best),
Others like Kapersky, Norton, Windows defenders - I dont like them for personal reasons, so I avoid them.

Lol Nigerian thing, u switched from avast to? My avast was interfering with the AVD of my android studio too. I disabled a certain visual component on d avast setting and d problem went away. You have a good reason for walking away, but many none programmers discourage avast for reasons am still yet to know

I was simply answering a question. If your app does not need to connect to a server, then you dont need PHP at all.

But if you build an app like a chat messenger, facebook app, gmail app, nairaland app ---- it must connect to a server, and such an app will require an API to connect to - which can be in any language at all whether PHP, C++, JSP, NODE.JS etc
