Gerrard59: It's actually good men are setting standards. After the reign of online feminazism and a harsh economy, men are demanding more than just being a "woman". Whether this online rhetoric applies in real life, I don't know.
Sure, an adult female, just like every adult, should be able to cater for the basics of life's necessities. However, women still bill. It's innate in them. If I may ask, when did this feminism become popular in Nigerian social media? I guess it's recently. |

Gerrard59: Why do some of our men have this belief that a lady who isn't broke won't be demanding or bill you?
Being a demanding or billing babe has nothing to do with a woman's financial status. Women are generally billiers. I classify them as an expense. The thing is men are now setting standards for themselves just like women. It is very good. Women in their teens will all tell you they wanna marry a rich man. It is with time and after experiencing harsh reality they begin to lower the bar. I know most women bill, but there are some kind of billings I hate to entertain. Billings like airtime, sanitary pads, food e.tc. An adult female should be able to cater for such personal bills else she is not worthy to be in a relationship. |

is having "a lot of influence on children" the same thing as "raising a child"?
how does community having influence on children because they interact with the community mean that the community raises children? I am done explaining to you. If you still don't get it,just rest. |

1. Trust nobody 2. You are all you have got when the chips are down. 3. Humans wear masks, nobody is entirely genuine. 4. People worship money. 5. Be selfish,be ruthless,be firm. 6. It's a crime to care too much or love too much and you would be punished for it. 7. Betrayal comes from people close to you, people you call friends. 8. Do not keep friends, keep disposable pieces. 9. Every relationship or interaction is transactional.make sure you are benefitting or cut it lose. 10. A man is only valued by what he provides. So before you provide make sure it's truly worth it. 11. Your colleagues in the office are not your friends. Do your job,get paid and go home. 12. All Women are natural manipulators,be cautious when dealing with them. 13. Sometimes, the major breakthrough you need will come from a place you least expect it, possibly from strangers. |

lexy2014: how does community having influence on children because they interact with the community mean that the community raises children? "it takes a village to raise a child". This statement means alot. Parents are not with their kids 247 so the rest time kids spend with their peers,in school,in church,in libraries, sports teams e.t.c is the the time they are getting raised by the community. |

lexy2014: how does community having influence on children because they interact with the community mean that the community raises children? yes, they interact with the community so to an extent the community shapes and mold them. Compare two persons, one raised in northern Nigeria, second in southern Nigeria. You would notice the difference in their thought process simply because of the environment they grew up in. |

occfx: Your narrative is wrong... Imagine been raised by a single mother.
Biology is nature at work and you cant defeat it.
The problem with marriage is culture, tradition and rules. Remove these three things, you will see like minds cohabit peacefully with each other. Goto university hostels... Some people are living happily with themselves like husband and wife but immediately society is informed, problem starts.
There is a reason why poor people last in marriage than rich and enlightened people. Funny thing is you see the poor man and his miserable wife having 7 to 9 kids in peace. That's the level of connection they have with constant intimacy... The only problem those kind of people have is food. Not gender equality or any nonsense. Imagine if economy is good and they feed well, they will likely have a happier home than most elites.
Human beings should emulate animals... Simple and short. I like your point....we don't need to emulate animals,we are animals already.it is too many rules, societal and religious pressure that is causing most problems in marriage. |

Fuckinecng: KEEP DEFENDING RUBBISH............WITH...... 30K MONTHLY STIPEND WHILE YOUR MASTER ARE LIVING LARGE WITH THIER FAMILIES WHILE YOU ENJOYING UR CRUMB in pieces.....also is 100k in 2006 cannot buy what 8k can buy in 1987.
In1990, a 50k bag of rice cost N350.
In 2006, a 50kg bag of rice in Nigeria cost ₦6,000.
In 2025,a 50k bag of rice cost N70,000. Let us do the maths. .
6000 divided by 350 gives ~ 17.
70,000 divided by 6000 gives ~ 11.6= 12(approx)
Comparing the two with the space of 16 and 19 years,Tinubu has done better because price went up 17 times in 1990 (space of 16 years to 2006) even with the fraudulent Fuel Subsidy.
In 2025,with the removal of the fraudulent Fuel Subsidy, price only went up approximately,12 times (and things are still coming down exponentially, we pray)
Kudos to President Tinubu for having gotten the gut to make these hard decisions that brings prosperity to Nigerians soonest.. KEEP DEFENDING RUBBISH... lol...inside 30k stipend, atleast 20k go enter data....only data self fit finish that 30k in a month if he is not careful. |

shortgun: Marrying Into a Family that's richer than you? Think Twice, Brother. That guy just made the biggest mistake of his life.
No matter how nice they smile, he’ll never be truly respected in that family. To them, he’s not the man their daughter should have married he’s the one she settled for. Behind closed doors, her parents are quietly disappointed and her father probably mocking him in silence.
The ugly truth is, when a man marries "up," he often sacrifices his dignity for comfort. Every small disagreement becomes a reminder of what he didn’t bring to the table. The power dynamic is off from day one.
My advice to men: Never marry into wealth thinking it’s a win. It often comes at the cost of your pride.
A man is nothing without his dignity and respect. Never trade that for fancy dinner tables and empty smiles. who no go no know. Na only movie this kind thing Dey go well. Real life scenario go humble person. |

Total emasculation of the male gender is the goal of the 21st century feminists and their feminised male supporters aka simps. Serious research works are currently ongoing in laboratories in developed countries on how to transfer the role of bearing pregnancy to men and how to impregnate men to women. Brace up for some crazy 21st century gender roles reversals! You are a wiseman. Flesh and blood did not reveal this to to you.
