Politics / Re: How Voters Voted For Presidents By Region And State In Nigeria- Statisense by Hidentity(m): 2:02pm On May 04
Jokerman:
Observation

1. Era of PDP result writing favoured OBJ grin

2. Tribal voting did not start today, however it seems Tinubu and his minions have proliferated it, as we can see....

In 1999, all Yoruba voted for Olu Falae, from 2003-2015, all Northerners voted for Buhari head on...

3. It seems SS/SE vote more of competent candidates rather than tribal, as we can see votes to Obasanjo etc..

4. So no core SW gave GEJ 70% šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

It was not competence when others voted their tribesmen, but it is when SE did? Interesting.

It also didn't matter that Tinubu, the CORN man did not get 70% in any State in the SW? Your analysis is flawed and tribally coloured.

However, my post for today is about something different grin grin
I went on excursion to a paramilitary camp in Yakutsk, Russia, (coldest city in the world) to make some video documentaries about some vintage Russian tanks they have there. (I am still editing those documentaries)
.
However, at the end of my shooting (the main video) I decided to do something crazy. Walk up to Russian military (A general and a field soldier). I asked the Russian General to say hello to Nigeria and he gladly did it even with a salute!

I asked the soldier boy to say hello to my favourite Nairalander ( falseprophet1 ). (His funny false prophecies always make my day! Not only that the court lacks jurisdiction.

This is a pre-election matter and according to section 285 of the constitution, all pre-election matter must be filed within 14 days of the event.
This case was filed on the 11th day of May, 2023. Alex Otti emerged as the gubernatorial candidate of labour party for Abia State during the primaries held in June 2022

From a mere look, the case is status bared but the judge who is notorious in bribe taking, must have collected money to give this kangaroo judgement having been previously suspended by the NJC in 2016

Politics / Re: Adeleke Vs Oyetola: Supreme Court Delivers Judgement Today by Hidentity(m): 12:56pm On May 09, 2023
press9jatv:
Supreme Court Queries Oyetola's Counsel On Physical BVAS Machine, Reserves Judgment Till Tomorrow

Supreme Court on Monday reserved judgement on the appeal filed by former governor Gboyega Oyetola against the election of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, just as the Court questioned Counsel to the former governor for his attempts to deceive the court with his silence over importance of physical BVAS machine to the election over and above server report, in line with the electoral act as amended.

Apparently dazed by the question, Oyetola's Counsel stuttered and rigmaroled as he could not proffer any reasonable response to the query which is cardinal for the determination of the appeal.

The proceedings which lasted less than one hour saw the apex Court streamlining all the five appeals into one, basis on which judgement will be delivered.

Counsel to Governor Ademola Adeleke, the PDP as well as INEC, while adopting their separate briefs already with the Court, urged the lord Justices of the apex Court to discountenance attempts by the APC and Governor Gboyega to hijack the popular mandate of the people of Osun State in an election they did not win, describing Oyetola and APC's appeals as tantamount to an unserious hunter looking for the legs of a snake.

The learned counsel wondered why the APC are hell bent in re-writing the law by trying to shift burden of proof of their own allegations on the respondents.

According to them, the new electoral act does not envisage a situation where respondents, particularly in election matters would assume position of discharging burden of proof.

Such a situation, according to the counsel, sounds unreasonable by a desperate thief caught pants down in the very act. Adeleke's counsel therefore entreated the Court to throw away the appeals, saying Oyetola and APC only want to eat a pie in the skye.
No one should rely on your report. It is biased. I was there and INEC did not file any brief in Appeal 508.

wirinet:

You are missing the point people are raising about your bias. You seem to be more sympathetic to the plight of the Ekwerenmadus than that of the boy. You sound more sympathetic to the plight of the rich and privileged than the poor and helpless. There are millions of poor Nigerians dying because of lack of money to buy simple malaria and typhoid drugs costing less than N5000. You think someone that died because of a perforated stomach due to untreated typhoid did not pass through excruciating pain? People like Ekwerenmadu has the power to save the lives of millions of poor Nigerians, but they just don't care. But you expect poor Nigerians to care about their own pains.

People didn't raise anything about my "bias". He is the only one who is angry about what I don't know . I like that you said I "seem to". That's how sensible comments should come because you're not sure that what you thought is actually what obtains.

That dude went all out to call me names without giving me a benefit of doubt. He was so sure of what I think and what I did not. Wisdom starts with question marks and not exclamation marks. He should have sought clarification. Bro, I didn't have to talk about the boy to prove that I feel for him. I even didn't say a thing about him because he is safe.

I've been on this platform for years and my comments and posts are here. Not many people are as critical as the political class as I am. I've even mocked and rebuked the same Ekweremadu when he was sent away at one event in Enugu and when he was beaten in Germany. Does his daughter now deserve such emotional trauma with that health? No. Nobody deserves that except it is proven that such person has put others through same. She didn't choose her dad, it happened by an accident of fate. As much as I detest Buhari and his government, I won't wish evil upon his children, except they participate in the rot.

My comment was not informed by his status, it was informed by the girl's situation. I would have said the same if they were a poor family or an average one.

The other dude seems to think people don't deserve goodwill because they're rich and they err on the side of law. I won't be a party to mental jungle justice as it will erode my own humanity.

Furthermore, he is here to judge where I stand by an isolated and harmless comments? Has this dude committed his life to half of what I have committed for the downtrodden, professionally and financially? Even when I'm an average Nigerian myself.

I maintain my ground that he's grossly lacking in understanding. If he cannot show instance where I've made comments making light of ill health of anyone- rich or poor or instances where I spoke in favour of any politician, then that tick should get off my comment and get a life.

Iā€™m not like you! Sonia is a British citizen, and in the UK like everywhere else, thereā€™s an organ donation list. Why couldnā€™t she wait till it gets to her turn? She was already on the list. Of course youā€™d feel for the rich lady who agreed and accepted to illegally secure an organ but not the poor barely literate boy whoā€™s organ was to be stolen.

Nigerians are bad people but youā€™re a terrible person.

You should seek quality education. You should also seek understanding and wisdom. The trio are lacking in your comment. I've never said anything against the poor boy. My remark about the lady was due to her health situation. I don't know Ekweremadu or anyone related to him and I didn't excuse what they allegedly did. I've seen people suffering the kind of thing she suffers and it will humble anyone. I guess her offence, to you, is being born into privilege. Purge yourself of low self esteem and hate. Don't lose your humanity because you think someone has a life you should have or even better.

I've had to be at the vanguard of raising funds for a lecturer on dialysis. We lost him. It was not easy for him or his family. He had to keep lecturing via audio calls even during dialysis session.

I never said justice shouldn't be done or that the family is innocent.

For calling me terrible, I have no doubt in my mind that wisdom is a luxury that you can't afford.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Previous Company Sued Me To Court After I Got Another Job With A Company. by Hidentity(m): 3:39pm On Jan 27, 2023

Fellow Nigerians. I need help because I don't want to be terminated from my new job.

I resigned after working for the previous company for 3 years for the following reasons:
1. No benefits except HMO
2. Only your salary
3. Performance commission not paid
4. I was doing job of 4 people without appreciation. I have to do it to keep feeding my family.

I got another job after 7months I have resigned properly from the previous company.

The previous company has sued me to court with my new company. My New company doesn't want to let terminate my employment with them because I am the operations manager and I have the business knowledge.

Myself and 1 Lebanese man started the previous company in 2018 in Nigeria before the company became big. I have full knowledge and my new company is now a big treat to them. I believe because of this they sued us to court.

My new company doesn't have enough money to pay lawyer we consulted.

The previous company said I have signed a letter that stated that I cannot work on same field for 3 years. When I checked their claim, they didn't write that I cannot work on same field for 3 years AFTER TERMINATION (Please check the attached document).

I know if I go to court with them i will win this case. How can a company said i shouldn't use my skills to work in another company.

In the previous company they didn't do any training for me, the only in house training was the onboarding training for 2 days and after that no training cost invested on me and no any form of performance benefits paid.

Now I got another job, the previous company is trenthening my new company to terminate my job. Now we need to go to court and they claimed 20M for damages.

Fellow Nigerians what can I do to this Lebanese company that want to deprive me of my right in my own precious Nigeria where I dey hustle to feed family and make it in life.

Please what can I do šŸ˜‚.

Kindly check the attached document they said I signed, of which it was signed after like 8months of starting with the previous company.

We didn't have HR when we started in 2018, I was the one that recommended the HR through a friend from my Church. The HR is the one persecuting me and acting as a witness in court against me.

I wish I didn't help her to get the job.

Please help.

Where are you based?

Great Post, but the former employee part does not always work.

For instance, someone reached out to me through LinkedIn to ask about a particular place I worked, with a view to knowing certain things. I gave her a general answer of "It is like any other entity with its peculiarities".

Meanwhile, I won't recommend that place for anyone. However, I bet you don't expect me to start raising the issue of toxic environment and others with a stranger who is looking at working there.

This is inaccurate. You can't sell a property when your tenant occupies it and his rent subsist within telling him. The new owner can throw him out and he would sue you and win. You must tell him and tell the user to allow him exhaust his current term and they can decide new term on fresh conditions after that if they wish.
