To a lot of people, it seems to make sense that a wise step in knowing if you are compatible to marry would be to "test run" your relationship by living together first. But, is it really as good of an idea as it seems like it would be?

Why living together before marriage is a bad idea:

1. Those are who live together are least likely to marry each other.

2. You lose the excitement and thrill the honeymoon will bring.

3. While many women look at it as a stepping stone to marriage, most men look at it for convenience and not firm commitment.

4. Those who live together have higher divorce and separation rates.

5. Those who live together do not experience the best sex.

6. Those who live together, have more disagreement, fights and violence.

7. Many times, people who live together before getting married, upset their families or friends who have strict religious beliefs. It can create a rift in the family which can be difficult to repair.

Report reaching us here in UI is that, the management had ordered all students to vacate all Hall of residences and academic activities should be suspended till further notice.
It will be recalled that, Tunji Epketi Micheal, a 500L student of the department of Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Technology and a resident of Independence Hall,was recently rusticated from University of Ibadan for been part of those who protested over light and water issue that occurred on the 18th of November last year, 2015.
Now UI has finally joined the likes of Unilag and OAU, suspending academic activities.

Was Tunji Epketi suspended or expelled because "Rustication" can be used for either of them!!!

Dont mind people..They would be shouting wetin he use he's money do when in essence they did not know what he went through..I know how the issue of he's eye problem started..its being long he's being battling it..For we folks in Ibadan,we know it was just a matter of time before he goes broke..No matter how rich you might be,if you got a health challenge,your whole money might vanish within a twinkle of an eye and you would be at the mercy of people..Opabunmi visited so many places looking for solution,he was even duped countless number of times..

I pray we wont have such..However,i am not saying those who got money should lavish it,however,people do get problem..Opabunmi had one and he seems not to have being able to conquer it

If you remember the time when Mikel was without a club (at a time when Man Utd and Chelsea were battling over him), he was in Naija, training with guys!!! If his career had somehow ended then, would you be using him as an example today? He would also probably be begging today because prior to getting signed to Chelsea, he played for a small club that probably paid little!!!

Opabunmi was a fantastic player who unfortunately had a very unsuccessful career!!! There was not enough to invest with and moreover, the little he had was what went into catering for himself and his family!!! I listened to the story of how he spent all his savings on his eye problem without any positive result!!! It was the same eye problem that made him lose his position in his club and that eventually saw him back in Nigeria!!!

I ask this question as a psychologist and not a priest!!!

I tend to conclude that it is lust and not love!!! After my master's, I practised for about a year and some months as a counselling psychologist. Most couples with marital problems always narrated how they met, emphasizing "love at first sight"

I opened this thread only after much deliberation and fear of being seen as not modest, a quality which all convent members should uphold!!!

It is not a surprise then that it was not difficult picking a motto for this proposed online convent: "Fierce in Modesty"

A total of 8, 567 Nairalanders have pledged to become monks and nuns!!! An additional 3, 695 have shown a resoluteness to become priests and Reverend sisters!!! This figure is exciting because it makes the devil and his angels very sad!!!

Let me mention that this project was tried and proved successful on more than 100 forums all around the world and at least 90 + online convents have been established and are waxing stronger by the day!!!

This report is not a show off but a transparent report on how good daily triumphs over evil!!!
