Peter Obi is good for APC. the people that will vote peter Obi are people that will not have voted for APC and would either have stayed at home or voted for PDP. All Obi does is dilute the Atiku vote. So long as APC get the right VP (IMHO a Muslim) they cant lose.

I don't know why people take the power of media for granted in this election, especially social media. Some people already thinking even maybe Peter Obi has been elected president already right now. Agreed that APC is the ruling party and PDP has been in the political space of Nigeria for a long time. But we are in the era where people like to catch up with the latest trend on media a lot. Who would have believed that EndSARS would produce a massive response like that that would reverberate across the whole world. If the current momentum is sustained for Peter Obi up to the election day, I can assure anyone that no presidential candidate among the top three (LP, APC, PDP) will come a distant close to the votes he will amass in the election.

Any house or office he has in Anambra is a branch of the main one in Lagos.

Realistically speaking and not based on emotions and sentiments, Obi has no chance...simply put!

The structure and machinery of APC and PDP is far reaching. Obi and Labour Party start and end on twitter!

Don't also forget that the rigging mechanism is still very much in place. So even if Obi and Labour Party were able to gather enough votes to earn him 2/3 of the votes in each state (which I strongly doubt), all the cabal have to do is activate this machinery and tilt the rewards towards APC or PDP.

Between APC and PDP, there is the factor of loyalty to either of the parties and what the current (and possibly incoming) big wigs stand to gain depending on who gets in. The case that PDP may have over APC is in Atiku being a northerner. The north typically votes the north. If Tinubu picks a northern muslim as a VP (possibly El-Rufai) then boom! GAME OVER!

All this clamour for Obi is just wishy washy! Tell me a time where Nigerians and Nigerian youths have ever achieved anything from wishing and washing?!

Like the OP said, better lets choose between the lesser of the 2 evils. Obi is is a fair choice but in my opinion, it will take a miracle, something out of space for him to win!
