CHM11:
Phillip Effiong, Kaduna nzeogwu etc etc all made their mistakes which cost nzeogwu his life and Phillip effiong his pride as he apologised to gowon when Ojukwu ran away to wherever he ran to after the war.

There is no 'igbo' in my state Delta state. We have ukwanis and some delta ibos who will never agree to be called 'IGBOS'...
The ikwerres don't call themselves igbos

Biafra is a good dream for the igbos, push for it without the Niger Delta. As the Name implies BIAFRA- it also sounds igbotic!...

God bless your country when you have it.
in as much as I don't like this Biafran topic or igbos seceding any time any day, maybe you should do justice in explaining to me where some of these state of Niger delta formerly belong. Again can you tell me why the country was separated into geopolitical zones? Read political history very well. I have met an old man in Bayelsa who said he was a saboteur during the war but gave me reasons why he and so many others had to do that. He has since regretted it though. Had it been the country was on fire during the election period, my brother, who cares if you are pure Ibo or not. I mean, both the Ss and Se would have formed an alliance and fight. But I thank God it never happen and lets build the country together.

Wow! What a nice piece. But what about the African Major Prophet-prophet Benjamin Samson Mustapha. The G.O Resurrection Praise Ministry, satellite town. He also predicted for GEJ as well as for Jimi Agbaje that they will win. He boldly said that. But for now, I can't help myself but keep wondering?

I foresee him to be a very good vice presidential candidate in the future if he wants. He is a good product.

I hope they do, I really want things to change for good. Nobody wey no like better thing but if not, the pendulum shall swing to another side. This election is a great teacher to all politicians that henceforth, they should not take the people for granted if they want to last long in power. I watched the drama in Abia; imagine Theodore Orji who even a blind man knows he failed is now fighting to remain relevant in the state. GEJ bowed out and all man now on his own.

After the failed predictions or maybe prophecies concerning the reelection of President Goodluck by so many "men of God", brothers and sisters in the lord and in Mohammed, " fear don grip me". Since then, I became completely disenchanted because I have read and heard many of them say how they heard God clearly (maybe God changed his plans). But notwithstanding, Ondo people, it seems there is a distinguished prophet in your state. I mean the man who boldly, I MEAN BOLDLY that is B.O.L.D.L.Y spoke in the sun newspaper before the election proper that GEJ will loose, Ambode will win, Fayose will be impeached and Mimiko may be impeached. Please, does any Ondo indigenes on this platform know the address to this mans church, I would love to have an interview with him and maybe for myself undecided who knows undecided . I am still waiting to watching with keen interest to see the fayose impeachment come to pass though I don't pray for such.

PoliticsRe: Dear Oby, A People Have The Right To Choose Their Hero by highmood(m): 11:21am On Apr 04, 2015
What I said in some of my comments. Its the thousand of lives he saved and the war he averted that made him an hero not because he actually lose. Come to think of it, he had the right to display his dissatisfaction over the conduct of the election having received complains about the issue of low distribution of PVC in the south while the north have received thiers, the failure of the card readers, the issue of child voters are issues.
just because he accepted defeat, we all are witness to the fact that economic activities which have been stagnant due to apprehension have started receiving life.
So oby should take a nap. We need to move on as a country.

Good move. TAN really worked for Mr. President. Politics is a game. It all about interest. Its not guaranteed that one must win. I think in future election, I would love them to adopt the method they used. if not for that method, no one would know much or hear much about president Goodluck. So you that is castigating TAN, tell us what they did that was wrong, not just a blank comment.

smile. The village girls are now foolishly wise than the city girls. I can't marry a village girl for any reason. A girl in the city have seen it all and nothing moves her compared to a village girl who is so excited of being married to someone living in the city. I have seen about three of them recently misbehaving. One of them, the husband sent her back to the village with his three children and kept regretting getting married to her. Point of correct, God do not find a wife for someone, you find your wife for yourself and God blesses you and you home.

pls stop dignifying such pettiness
what pettiness? If he had considered the way the core north voted for him and decided to ignore them in the scheme of things, I believe hell would have been let loose. Notwithstanding how much he tried pleasing you guys, GEJ never had peace abit right before he was sworn in, till the day of the election when all your governors, ministers and even elite turned against him. It was the yorubas i know GEJ would have done a bit more for in terms of appointment, The position giving to sanusi, Tambuwal, Justice minister would have been giving to them but he Fck up. But notwithstanding that, they tried to rescue him during the election but it was too late- you can see that in the way the votes was divided in lagos, ogun, oyo, ekiti, and ondo. please compare that to the north he almost bowed down to. Buhari is the incoming president, if he likes he should administer based on the way the vote was casted, who give a hoot. An igbo man remains who he is, he survives in any type of situation.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Group Urges Buhari To Fulfill Promise To South East by highmood(m): 10:10pm On Apr 03, 2015
Smile. Well the igbos have the right to demand because the resources of the country is meant to go round. Again if some people are poisoning his thought base on the fact that the region didn't vote in masse for him, are they trying to tell us that had it been GEJ had won, he should neglect the north who also voted in masse for Buhari and concentrate in the SS and SE alone where he got block votes? Or whosover in the future that wins should neglect any region who never voted for him or her?
PoliticsRe: Why We Gave Jonathan Nearly 1 Million Votes — Akpabio by highmood(m):
Ok. Well this is loyalty to the core. I believe in future elections, many political leaders who are seeking to be reelected or vying for a post will seek such loyalty displayed by the people of the SS and SE for Mr. President and the love and believe the north have for thier own- Buhari.
And for those who think the SE and SS will not benefit from the incoming administration because of the display of loyalty during this election, I would want them to imagine if Goodluck had won, would he have neglected the North who also voted in masse for Buhari?
people say Rigging, what would you say of kastina, Kano, etc where there were cases of child voters and no rejected vote and no rancor. Are they telling people the election is perfect?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Not A Hero – Oby Ezekwesili by highmood(m): 8:06pm On Apr 03, 2015
symbianDON:
and what is heroic about accepting defeat? Nigerians have so soon forgotten all the antics Jonathan and his cohorts played in the name of politics! never in the history of the country had politics been so played in a dirty manner as Jonathan played his. so much mud slinging and misinformation all in a bid to win the elections at all cost. Jonathan never paved any way for anyone to win except himself. if he had his way he would gladly have loved to cling unto power. him and his garrulous wife.
obj did it for his second term but he failed, so because GEJ did it for the his second term, its now a crime? All these are politics-its a game. But what makes his accepting defeating heroic is that many lives and property would have been destroyed and even you may not have that time to type, you might have been running up and down or worrying about a loved one had it been he never accepted. Again, hardly will you see any African president do so. Ivory coast, liberia, Libya, Sudan and some other African countries are boiling because of politicians in positions. He is a hero because he has tried to avert the prediction of the U.S that Nigeria will disintegrate by 2015. So better accept the fact.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Not A Hero – Oby Ezekwesili by highmood(m): 7:45pm On Apr 03, 2015
Madam Oby, maybe you should take a nap. Whether he caused a damage or not, those that have preceded him caused so much damages than he has done. I would loved you to point fingers starting from those people even your former boss. Good luck have done well Madam Oby, whether you like it or not. His accepting defeat saved lives and properties that would have been destroyed in the north and even in the east as well as in the south south. Everyday you scream bring back our girls without including many other young children, women and men that have been taken away. Are those lives and those that would have been lost had GEJ not accepted defeat not important too?
are the school girls the only ones that have been taken away?
if you think it's only the north that are poor and Goodluck have not done much for them and the nation, I would request you travel to the riverine areas of Niger delta And ask about fishing port, where women take their children for fishing and in those places, there are no schools for the children and even teachers dislike going into those communities because there is no light, no road, the boat ride coat hell. I even wonder how some of those ppl will benefit from government power program. Imagine poor ppl in the ND buying water for #10 or they drink a salty water which is already polluted with crude oil, defecation because they do all in thier water.
Go and see the oil spill and you will weep for these region who you think is rich but yet everyday thier poor people cry. I have lived with these people in that place and I knew what I passed through and thier pain. They sometimes expect you to give them because they don't have yet they sleep, eat and drink on wealth which is been taking to develop other regions.
GEJ has done well. Please accept it and if you have any grudge against him, please just go and settle it.

sometimes you guys comment like aliens. What is the relation between your comment and what the man said? He commended the effort of GEJ and also pointed out his failure. He is advising Buhari to fulfill the promise on power and corruption. Is he asking for appointments, or if the power sector get improved upon in Buhari's time will it favour the southeast alone? Sometimes you guys commenting before reasoning. An average Ibo man care less of government contracts or appointments, let the enabling environment for them to thrive be, and you see them shine. Wetin concern Ibo and contract or big government portfolios. I wonder why ppl de bother themselves on what Buhari will do for the igbos or what he would not do. Meanwhile, watch the pattern of the votes casted. Are you now telling me that, had it been GEJ had won, he should abandon the entire north because they all voted for APC? So, if Buhari likes he should be partial or impartial, the post cannot be thiers for ever, it will definitely rotate and the southeast and southsouth will be sought after during election. Let him do what seems best for him.

No problem. If that is the case, it is wrong. For me, the north simply betrayed GEJ including the umpire. The southwest couldn't do enough to help since it was already late and the change slogan has taken over them. As a woman, she may want to fight for the post having considered what she will be missing. Politics is a game, no one wants to loose. PoliticsRe: Five Reasons Why Jonathan Lost- BBC by highmood(m): 7:04pm On Apr 02, 2015

You are sensible, absolutely on point!

GEJ was always confused. It always took him too long to make a simple decision. You sack a minister and it takes you 6months to replace, setting up useless committees here and there on issues where he needed to be decisive.

He barely had a mind of his own, always wants to consult and listen to everyone. He listens to too many opinions and wants to please everyone when its not possible. Even the people he tried to please the most are the same people that detested and betrayed him the most despite the fact that his best performances were around their region- the north, viz-a-viz the agricultural and rail transport revolution, almajiri schools, but these people have a herd mentality and followership....such a pity.

Goodluck remains however the best president this country has ever had, if not for anything, Nigeria practiced true democracy under him where votes counted, freedom of speech and expression , passing of the FOI bill amongst others.

A very meek and humble man, always calm even n the face of daunting challenges, his personality trait is exemplary.
nice point brother. We only pray for the incoming president. I hope he would dispel the fear people have about and make every one including those that never voted him finally believe he deserves the it.

One igbo guy told me that they are intentionally manipulating BokoHaram to ensure that they continue killing pple in the North to reduce their Numbers; voters. Are the truly innocent Northerners being massacred not Nigerians? Did they tell GOD that they wanted to be born in the Northern? Those born as igbos, did they tell GOD that they wanted to be born into igbo family? I wonder why igbos are so SENSELESSLY Myopic! I was so negatively wowed that I couldn't close my mouth for a while. So, they encouraged and ensured the lackadaisical and lassivaire tackling of BokoHaram then, to encourage the killing of Northerners just to perpetuate their stealing is not corruption? Also, they were controlling the military and making so much Blood Money by ensuring that enormous money and massive security votes are constantly being chunked out by the Govt. igbos controlled the military then and were profiting so much from BokoHaram slaughtering of innocent pple; GOD shall judge all of u making blood money.
Suddenly just before election and because they wanted to convince Nigerians, they started defeating the hitherto "invincible" BokoHaram and taking back territories. I've always wondered why the mighty Nigerian Military has pretended to be unable to crush the Boko boys all THESE WHILE. Simple, igbo are the most evil pole on planet earth!
I hate insults else I would have. Read what gov. Shetima said and read what someone analyzed above about all the regions. Now you turned it to an hate statement and insult. U claimed the igbos killed, how many Igbos have been caught in the fight against the sect. How many times have you heard shekau mentioned ibos in thier affair rather you hear then say things about destroying the country, giving GEJ troubles, building an islamic caliphate etc. And even if you claim such, are the north or Muslims so foolish to take up harms and cause havoc for many years against there own people? As a SW, if a MB comes to you and ask you to destroy your people because of money will you do it? Mr. Man park one corner maybe beside ogun river and think properly. Let the peace we are enjoying in this country now be sustained. We need no war.
PoliticsRe: How The Igbos Worked For Buhari's Victory -shettima by highmood(m): 8:57am On Apr 02, 2015
One thing I want governor shettima and the noth to understand is that the ibos are honest, believes in the rule of law and wants a peaceful, progressive country. The ibos want transparency, free and fair election which the north failed to display starting from the issuance of the PVC which Jega compromised to the votes counted in Kano, Kaduna, Kastina where they want us to believe that the election was near excellent without any child voters or rancor. Where no votes was rejected. Now even after the election, the ibos held thier peace. I hope they would do as much as possible to be fair in thier administration and address some problem confronting the north and the Niger delta as well as other regions. They should make people irrespective of tribes or religion believe they are better than the PDP.

I need to share this information l got from a reliable source.
We should thank God for using Kofi Anan, General Abubakar and Thabo
Mbeki of South Africa to persuade Jonathan to concede defeat on time
& shut down hawks around him who would have Nigeria burn down instead of allowing Buhari to take over.
The gentlemen were at Hilton hotel and General Abubakar instructed
some one at the collating center to inform him when it is mathematically impossible for Jonathan to win. And so, the moment Delta state was announced the man called General Abubakar who swiftly moved to Aso Rock with the two other men, and they
persuaded Jonathan that since it was impossible for him to win now, he should please call Buhari to congratulate him for the sake of peace in Nigeria.
The moment Patience Jonathan heard that she started shouting that
Jonathan should not do it, that how can dey hand over to Almanjiri
people? At that point Kofi Anan begged her and Jonathan went on to call Buhari, and they quickly leaked it out to the Press.
lt was revealed that it was Patience Jonathan that sent Orubebe to
scatter the Collation Centre!
May God deliver us from bad spouses
as I read, I went back to see what your name sounds like. I am not surprise at the type of information you are giving out. The so called person that gave out that rubbish information was among those that betrayed Goodluck -he or she is a sycophant.
Meanwhile, why did he involve PEJ, was he or she in the bedroom or sitting room with them watching the telecast?
How did he know PEJ sent orubebe to do a one man show without many others to accompany him to do what you accused her her of?
Why do you want to make the woman seem like Jezebel who controlled Ahab because the likes of you just hated her.
This write up is a show of hate towards Patience Jonathan. it doesn't make any meaning. Thank God it's even an Hausa man that will take over, had it not been....I just can't imagine the display of hate other regions would have seen.
PoliticsRe: 5 Major Reasons That Made GEJ Loose - UK Guardian by highmood(m): 7:22am On Apr 02, 2015
1. Jonathan relied solely on the north but they ended up betraying him.
2. Jonathan never used the EFCC effectively. He didn't bark at, neither did he bit any corrupt official to serve as a deterrent to others.
3. Jonathan received false information about the improvement in the power sector. A single agenda that would have won him millions of votes.
4. Jonathan failed to check the activities of jega. He so much trusted him that he crafted what destroyed him. Some ministers he later appointed never helped at all.
5. Jonathan was scared and was intimidated by the propaganda of the opposition
6. The advisers both from the north and south never did much for him. They gave him wrong feedbacks.
7. Jonathan failed to meet the masses to hear from them. If he had spent at least one day in every month in a town hall meeting in every state of the federation, he would have gotten a firsthand information about the true state of affairs. But of recent, we noticed he has not flown out but has been visiting states. Its too late and quite unfortunate
