Good morning everyone.

I was here on this platform in 2019 seeking for advice concerning Transportation business.
I eventually went into the business and it was a sad experience. You can read my previous threads for more information on the business.

After the collapsed of the transportation business, I venture into money lending business.

I lend money to people with the hope to get a refund with interests.

Since 2019 I went into the business, I have lent money to over 20 people and only 5 have refund the money.

Those 5 people who refunded the money, it was a fight before the refund. Obviously is police has no right to arrest over debt incurred, then, people should think twice before giving out your hard earned money to people.

Before I lend money to people, I make them sign T & C documents.
Some signed the hard copy others signed the softcopy.

When it is time to pay off, they refuse to pay. I have called them severally. At a point I told them to pay only the capitals and forget about the interests.

At a point some will make statements like "Don't disturb me. Even Federal Government owes. It is debt not stealing".

I had made arrangement that this December I will arrest some of them.

But recently I read on this platform that the police has no right to arrest anyone over debt.

Please how can I get them refund my money without involving the police?

That is God's way of compensating you for being at the right place at the right time.

Except you have more than you'd ever need or the money you picked has a tracker on it, there is no moral justification whatsoever to return it. TO SOMEWHAT I THINK I AGREED WITH YOU ON THIS. BUT THE WHITE SGOULD HAVE BEEN LINIENT A BIT IN THEIR JUDGEMENT.

My first gold necklace was one I picked up at Onu-Asata in the late eighties. I'd later sell this necklace to afford money to take my ex-boss's classy wife on a date and blow her mind when she came visiting Nigeria several years later.
This lady will eventually connect me to the people who transformed and made me fortunate in this life.

So please, where would I have been today if I had not picked up that gold necklace at Onu-Asata?
Where would I have been if I had let morals stop me from leaving a legacy in that married woman's kpekus?

Would there have been a triumphant entry into Jerusalem if Jesus had not picked and ridden a colt that was not his?

I hope this story serves as a lesson for those who pray to God to order their steps and would still walk past their blessings because they don't want to offend God.

The moment we realize that God's ways are not our ways and we can never fathom them, that is when we'd realize that nothing should separate us from God's love which is in Christ Jesus.

No matter how much money you pick up today, it will still finish one day, so why mortgage your forever because of the satisfaction of today?

But before you answer that stupid question, remember that your forever is threatened if you can not satisfy your today by any means necessary.

Am a 24 years medical student in my fourth year of the university I meet her when we where in our second year I never knew she was even in our class until our second year at first we where only saying hello to each other than some school stuff brought us together in our third year ever since we became close as friends and now I am realizing that I really like her and I want more than just being normal friends with her.

Okay now let’s agree for the sake of argument that everyone who joins the army later in life do so due to job or frustration.

When they want to join that army later in life, they have to lobby and seek for connection, beg people, network, and etc.

I know lot of my friends that love the army and indicated their interest about joining after getting their B.tech. Most of them are part of the Man’o War in school and some of them are currently in the army as we speak. So that argument that only job frustration lead people to join the army might not be factually correct. You are mostly correct. sentimetal apart, or those that are genuinely interested and not through use of forcing nor denying them of their pay and perhaps a year or 2 year courses in the NDA NOT RECRUIT STATUS

If NYSC can give them some opportunities to have that link to join the military without much hassle, then I see nothing bad in it.

It's the Nigerian milieu that has made us reason that school doesn't help anyone. In developed European countries, everyone gets a job irrespective of the courses they study.

Besides, not everyone was meant to be an entrepreneur. Some get it better by working for others. There's nothing wrong there. Bill Gates, and pretty much everyone on Forbes 100 got their by having people work for them. There's also a high chance that those who worked for them would never have made it if they were entrepreneurs.

I'm 29 and a very handsome man. I have a young family with a beautiful wife that I don't even think I deserve because she is an Angel and I have 2 beautiful girls that means everything to me.

I lost my Job during the pandemic last year and it has been hard getting another Job and it's even harder watching my kids starve and my beautiful wife cry at night

I know my responsibility as a man and top most is me providing for my girl's and their Mom.

My wife have been shouldering the feeding responsibility at home since March because after i paid my girls school fee in February my account became empty

Even though my wife does everything she has never been rude to me or shown me the normal "Nigerian" women attitude

She has never denied me sex or spoke to me rudely since August of last year. She meets men, richer men that wants a relationship with her but this lovely woman tells me all, she even gives me her phone to chat with them

In all of this I kept on looking for a job because I feel like I'm failing my girls

On Monday I was in a thread here on nairaland and I made a post that I needed a job so badly and I got an email from here and I replied the email and I and the person started talking and he invited me to his office in the island

I was excited, baby was excited and the girl's were excited as well and I got to his office the next day which was on Tuesday and I submitted my CV to him and he went through it and was impressed and we spoke even more and he said something to me 'what can you do to get this job' and I said anything because I need to start providing for my wife and the girl's as I was feeling the pressure from home and he said something again. 'You are very handsome and I would want us to be closer and if you agree to this you would get even more than a job

Then he told me his office would get back to me and he gave me #15k as transportation and while I was heading home he texted me and said if I'm free tomorrow he would like to see me

My mind told me something was off , I knew but I just couldn't imagine or believe something of that nature could happen to me, I replied his text and told him I would be free and he told me he would get back to me and Wednesday morning he sent me a text that we should meet in one of the biggest hotels in lekki

I asked him why an hotel and he said he has an appointment with a client and he would want me to see the client with him so he accesses my ability In convincing a client to partner with us

Then I got to the hotel by 10am and I called him I was there and he invited me to his room and when I got in it seemed odd

There were 2 glass and a bottle of wine and we started talking and we spoke a lot while we drank and I actually felt comfortable around him and we started talking family and he told me his wife and kids are in America

Then when it got to my turn I told him about Nike and my girls and I got very emotional and started shedding some tears because I'm failing my family even tho it's not my fault, even though I look for job everywhere and every day both on jobberman and LinkedIn and Twitter and Facebook

Then he told me how much I want the job and I said so badly and he said what can I do to get the job I said anything and he said what can I do to get a job of #150k per month gosh that broke me and I said anything at all and right there he called his personal assistant to draft an employment letter in my name and add a salary of #150k

We continued talking and he told me how much I had left in my account I told him just 3k because I gave wifey the rest of the money he gave to me to prepare something for the kids

Some few minutes later he brought out a bundle of cash and told me it's mine and the employment letter in his email which he showed me if only he has sex with me

I was stunned and astonished and didn't no what to do

I needed a job so badly, my kids needed the money so badly, Nikky has carried the family enough and I needed to do something and there was an opportunity

He left the car running with the keys inside the vehicle, so he could fill up the gas tank. Before he was done, he noticed someone diriving his car, which held valuables, including a $25,000 diamond necklace, a Louis Vuitton bag and his iPhone.

Akon called the cops, who arrived at the gas station at 11:59 p.m. He told authorities that a dark-colored sedan followed his SUV when it made a right onto Sidney Marcus Boulevard. Surveillance footage of the theft confirmed his account.

A police report stated that the video showed the sedan as it pulled into the station right next to Akon’s SUV.

“Shortly after, you can see the suspect get out of the passenger seat of what looks to be a black, four-door BMW sedan, get into the driver’s seat of the victim’s vehicle and drive off with the black BMW following right behind,” the report read.

Since his phone was left in the vehicle when it was pilfered, Akon reportedly used the FindMyPhone app to track his phone and find his car. He was first led to Lawton Street in southwest Atlanta, but when police went to that location, they were unable to find it. The second time around, after the app determined the vehicle was in Forest Park, it was recovered by the Forest Park GA Police Department and returned to Akon on Tuesday morning (May 25).

Let's be honest, you can say all you want about inner beauty, intelligence and good character, but at a very primal level, men care primarily about looks when picking women.

In fact women themselves judge a guy by the kind of girls he dates and they base their judgement on how the girl looks. If she looks beautiful, they rate him high.

My Visa experience was quite tough because I found out the whole application to be rigorous with repetition of information.

I applied for Tier 2 Main applicant, General partner and General child

Having to fill the form for a family of 3 no be small task, with the repetition of answers and all. Then now came paying for IHS surcharge, what was supposed to be for a yr payment turned to 3yrs for dependant £600 as against £200 for the main applicant.

Hurdle 2 booking appointment for 3 diff individual was tough for the same day ooo. To say I was frustrated was the least.

Then came the payment wahala. My access dorm card (visa) was not accepted I had to call UKVI and trust them to charge money for every call or mail for complaints and enquiries (UK makes too much from us immigrants oo)

Thanks to all that answered my question in d Visa thread.

Lesson learnt:
1. For families fill individual application with the same portal i.e apply for someone else tab
2. Use Gtbank Mastercard attached to your dorm acct
3. Book appt for same day from UK website but register as a group with TLS dt way you are being processed together
4. Fill all information as truthfully as you can and you won't have any problem
5. Pray and make sure there are no mistakes with your documents

The application is really easy once you follow the rules to the letter.


P.S :- NARIC services is good and I did not have to write ilets for UKVI
