Yasher: The thing is, a lot of them don't have their own identity(so they can't feel comfortable under their own skin) that's why they always feel threatened by every other girl. That's true. How on earth would ladies teach their children 'keeping friendships' when they can't keep one themselves? Nice one Yasher! |

Seriously though, all too often we find guys being friends with themselves for a lifetime or for many years (at least). But with ladies friendships end in the blink of an eye, it doesn't even survive months most times, and you smell so much hatred between once upon a time BFFs. Many end up not talking for several decades, become sworn enemies and may never reconcile.
Ladies honestly though, why is this very common among you guys? Why do you let jealousy come between your friendships too often?
PS I respect the ladies a lot, but it's so hard to see 'female friends' stay friends. |

Optofrank: It all boils down to TRUST. What if she is not cheating and you just did. Valid point there. Cheating to feel 'safe' in a relationship doesn't solve trust issues. The only way 'faithful men' can different themselves from the unfaithful ones is by not cheating. Cheating kills trust! But faithfulness builds trust, for life. |

VirginFinder: I may sin. But I am not a sinner because I do not live/continue in sin. Whenever I sin, I repent and ask for forgiveness. However, homosexuals want to continue to live in sin (homosexuality) and yet want the grace of God to abound. God forbid!
Check the dictionary meaning of 'sinner' and reconcile your argument. Secondly, there is no such thing as 'I may sin', you sin period!
I am trying my best to make heaven. Being blunt on calling sin sin and those who commit it sinners wont stop me. In Jesus' Name.
That includes you cause you will commit sin after today.
The Bible permits me to hate whoever hates the LORD. Anyone against God's ordained order/system is an enemy of God. Homosexuals fall into this category. Psalm 139:20-22 20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. 21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
Taught you were gonna quote some new testament to back your argument. If Jesus hates sin and hates those who go against his orders, that would include 'you' - so technically Jesus hates you? Jesus knew what he was saying when he said 'love your enemies, and forgive them'.
Homosexuality is worse because it results from a reprobate mind. It is an error that most times gives the perpetrators no chance for repentance. Go back to my opening post for details.
Ridiculous! What's worse than killing the 'messiah'? He forgave his killers, forgives killings and even worst offences. So, leave God to do his job. All sins are errors and once a habit (or way of life), leads you far from repentance (homosexuality does this as well as any other sexual immoral path humans tread) -
I am not judging anyone. I am only reechoing scriptural view/standpoint. 1 Corinthians 2:15
yet he himself is judged of no man.
My Pastor can't be gay.
Can't? You don't know everything about anyone. Just like no one knew 'Judas' was capable of betraying Jesus.
I don't attend Christ Embassy or all those other churches that water down the gospel and make call sin fault.
Those saved by Christ are 'one church' - no such thing as denomination in heaven. 'So long they are not against us, they are for us' was Jesus's statement when the apostles told him of other folds preaching and casting demons in his name. |

I smell trust issues!
There's nothing 'wrong' adding stew to jollof rice, sometimes it makes it taste all better. But then, it shows more than ever what an insecure 'commitment-phobic' person you are.
Moral of the story: You can't win trust if you don't give it. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Gays & Lesbians Are Sinners And They Will Go To Hell If... by Hila12(m): 6:51pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
Op it's hypocritical to call homosexuals sinners when you too are a 'sinner' yourself (All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God).
It is hypocritical to say homosexuals will go to hell when you too will be a sure candidate should you not stop the use of the derogatory word 'sinners' to address your faulting brothers and sisters.
Lastly, are you sure you would make heaven when you haven't truly learned to 'love' your neighbour regardless of his/her sexuality?
Homo sexuality is not worse than any sexual/immoral act common among so called 'christain brothers and sisters' - fornication, adultery, masturbation and abortion.
Don't place yourself on the seat of judgement (as to who makes heaven or who doesn't) - allow God be the judge. Let's lead them back to Christ without judging the the hell out of them. Your pastor could be gay you know lol |

Granted though - the mum is mature enough and can do whatever she deems fit as an adult.
But only a pervert/self-centred mother who's not concerned about the mental/emotional well being of her kids would expose them to such 'indecent' and 'stimulating' ordeal (later she go blame devil if her pikin go give girls belle for outside). All the moaning from the home theatre reach to confuse any man's career - not to talk of kids that young lol.
I can't judge cause I don't know her personally, but she should at least watch it in a private device like her mobile phone or tablet (locked with pin), and save her children the long term consequences of her 'carefree' actions.
Holier than thou Nairalanders sha, make any body here who never watch porn for him lifetime throw the first stone! I bet even the pastors won't throw! |

Family › Popular Phrases Spoken In Britain And Their Meanings by Hila12(op): 10:43am On Apr 18, 2015 |
Hello, I'm a Nigerian(proud) who's been privileged some time overseas, especially the UK where I've lived a while studying the British Language and Culture in general.
If you intend visiting the UK, there are common informal words/phrases spoken by the British that might sound somewhat strange to you - but no worries, here are some meanings below:
Are you alright? - it's a popular greeting that means 'Are you okay?'. Common responses are Yes I'm alright, you? or Not bad at all, how about you?
*Note: They don't mean you are insane or anything by the question.
Hey Mate! - 'mate' means friend/pal in Britain. So this means 'Hello Friend'.
*Note: They don't mean you are their age mates, hence you shouldn't be offended by this. It's just their friendly way of saying hello.
What do you reckon? - reckon means 'think' in this context. They actually mean 'What do you think?'
*Note: However, Do you reckon a trip to Nigeria means 'Do you fancy a trip to Nigeria'
Be in my office about half-twelve - would mean 'Be in my office half past twelve (12:30) '
*Note: Half-three means 3:30 and so on.
Do you fancy the South African lecturer? - would mean 'Do you like the South African lecturer?'
*Note: 'Fancy' here could also mean 'Are you attracted to the South African lecturer?'
Can you spare a ffag please? - ffag implies 'cigarette'. This would mean 'Can you spare a cigarette'
Take out the rubbish - would mean 'Take out the trash/waste bin'
Can I have a cuppa - 'cuppa' means a cup of tea/coffee.
I'm in a flight tomorrow - would mean 'My flight is tomorrow'
Don't take the piss out of me - 'Don't take advantage of me'
There are many popular phrases and idioms used in Britain, but will leave it here for now.
Do you know any? |
