Great news but I am disappointed somewhat.

They only arraigned him for issuing dud cheques.

What about the other potential charges around the land?
Very annoying, the bail terms were unreasonably liberal. How can you grant a bail of 200k for such a serious offence?

The bail term should have been very strict such that he can spend some time in the prison pending when the bail terms will be ratified.

Now tribalism has been taken to the church.

What happens to all their members are Yoruba?

Like how many Yoruba pastors will you find in lord's chosen church?

But if it's Jesus you went there for you probably won't notice which tribe the Pastors are.

Ethnicity and tribalism is the bane of Nigeria.
Religion is Nigeria's biggest problem followed by tribal bigotry.

When government start to control and make decree on the 'church'... it was the other way round in the bible.
Please be reminded that the Christian bible is not the only history or religious book neither is it adopted as the constitution of any country yet.

There are over 4,000 religions in the world and most of them have their own guiding book.

BTW. The bible advised Christians to obey constituted authorities. Romans 13:1-7.

I'm not happy with this sort of thing. Private organizations should be free to structure themselves in the most efficient way. On the short term it may seem to be beneficial, because some fraudulent church leaders might be exposed, but it's a slippery slope that leads to a bad place imho.
Seun, When you realize the fact that the population of these churches represent a significant percentage of citizens, you would understand why the government must try to sanitize it.

Almost 87 percent of crises in Nigeria are caused by religious people and their doctrines. Their heads are also committing unbelievable atrocities in secret until they are caught.

http://dailypost.ng/2017/01/06/pastor-arrested-car-theft-anambra/

It is easy that assume that these churches belong to everybody but the truth is, most of them are run as private family businesses, when the head is incapacitated or dead, the child takes over.

In fact, the conduct of some of these religious leaders doesn't conform to what they preach.

Do you know that they silently opposed this law in the high court but lost out? and they won't tell their congregants that part.

Nice move. Since he didn't pick his family member , I credit him for that. The Church is founded by God through a Yoruba man and the Yoruba will always lead it no matter how those people try to package their anointing.
Before you give him the credit, please be informed that the law which forced him to appoint the new G.O also forbids him from appointing his family members.

9ja4show:
I know this; won't the over grown mavros put pressure on the system, imagine 100k donation must have turned almost 170k by the time they resume.
The pressure is already there. Referring to the money you put there as "donation" is misleading. It's called investment. Donation is charity and it doesn't yield interest, but investment yields profit.
Investment › Re: The 2nd Coming Of MMM by histemple: 9:03am On Jan 08, 2017
9ja4show:
I doubt if they will pay over grown mavros ...won't that be too much
This is simple logic now. MMM doesn't have a central account. So, there is no money anywhere to pay people except new people donated.

What is frozen is the operation, not the account where money is. So, if more people don't donate upon its resumption, nobody would be paid.

That's wickedness.Women are capable of such behaviour too but it's more common with men.
As a very active activist, I can confirm to you that domestic violence by women against men is the most unreported crime in Africa, the second is rape, believe me.

Most of the reported domestic violence against men are not even reported by the victims but through third parties.

It's rampant to see a woman crying on social media over a slap by the husband but you hardly see such post from men, but it happens daily.

Another area is in the reporting. Most of these alleged domestic violence against women reported on social media are filled with half truth.

There was a case of domestic violence reported in my office by a women. I quickly put a call through to hear from her husband. The man offered to come to my office so as to give us the whole details.

When the man came, he narrated that when the wife started her nagging, he decided to enter the room. The wife came to the room and smashed his laptop on the floor. Then out of anger he slapped her and she had a red eye.

Now, if we didn't hear from both parties, we couldn't have known all the details because the woman never mentioned that she started the violence.

Business › Re: Is It Possible To Reverse Money Sent To Wrong Account Number? by histemple: 1:07pm On Jan 06, 2017
Papasland21:
It is not reversable unless the beneficiary credited you back.
Police report is useless only court of law could compel the beneficiary bank to reverse the transaction after listening to both side and if the beneficiary account balance is not sufficient it becomes a judgement debt.
My advise is for you to start pleading with the woman to return your money or supply f good or render d service paid for.
Please be informed that without a police report you can't get a court order in ALL criminal cases.

its 30k
Okay, quickly go to the nearest police station and report it so they can start the process of getting the required court order to suspend withdrawal transactions in the account.

It would cost you less than 10k to complete the process and you may get your money and all expenses back when the accused is apprehended.

That's your response sir.

No bank can put her account on lien or PND without a court order or police report. The bank will only expose itself to unnecessary litigation if it does that.
Did you read my earlier response or you misunderstood anything therein? We are saying the same thing. A court order in this instance is referred to as FIAT.

even if it were the fault of the lady, courtesy demands that he ignores her, that's Wat a matured and sensible man does....
From your previous comment, I can deduce that you are in support or you will do that to your wife and you don't see anything wrong with it.
I have come to realize that there are so many crazy men out there.... Men who wants their wives to prostrate before them all the time, men who wants their wives to always keep quiet whenever they are talking or shouting at them even when wrong, men who want their wives to abide only by their rules, men who want their wives to ........ name them. the list goes on and on.
"Even if it were the FAULT of the lady" That is a very heavy statement and an express permission to women to be continuously unreasonable. So for how long would you continue to ignore a recalcitrant unreasonable woman at FAULT?
