DIKEnaWAR:You must train your daughter to be of good conduct, respect her husband and avoid violent confrontations that would make your son in law to be grateful for having her than beating her. You can hardly find a man beating a respectful wife. To some women, if you like walk away a million times, the abuses and nagging will continue anytime you return to the house. So, how long would the husband stay away from the house? |
Bizzydee:It can be done but here are the steps, you have to go the police station and report a case of Obtaining under false pretence (OBT), detailing how everything happened to prove it was actually a fraud. The police would generate a report and get a court fiat to freeze the beneficiary's account. With that, the beneficiary would have to come to the police and state his/her own side of the OBT allegation. This is the only way to get your money back . NB. This process involves money, so it would be needless if the amount is insignificant. |
four4:I don't like this comment oh! Yes their reward is safely in heaven but they are not ready to go to heaven now, maybe later. |
RosaConsidine:How can it be sarcasm? Is there anything I said that is not in tandem with biblical injunctions? |
Ellegacy:Lol @ "Welcome my Lord". |
seunmsg:I don't think they should be fighting over unpaid salaries because it's God's Will that they are not paid. Maybe God is preparing to give them something bigger. Nothing happens without the permission of God. Maybe God is actually testing their faith by making the Bishop not to pay them. Money is not everything, so they should rather seek the face of God in prayer instead. Again, it's not right for the pastors to be accusing the bishop of rituals because the bible said--JUDGE NOT. More so, the bible said "Touch not my anointed, so they shouldn't disturb the anointed man of God. And lastly, they shouldn't have WELDED the church gate, rather they should forgive the Bishop as the bible commanded us to forgive those who offends us. |
VulgarVulvas:Well, let's watch and see how things unfold. Most importantly, let the Will of God be done. |
VulgarVulvas:Osinbajo wasn't appointed so he can't be fired, he can only be impeached and removed. |
tchidi:Excellent shoes but the colour of the stockings is a let down. Wrong combination. |
lanicky:Funny enough, that answer is technically correct because Buhari was awarded a honorary Doctorate degree from Kaduna State University KASU. I concur with her joor. |
SirdeKay:They are Chadian Army getting intelligent information from captured Boko Haram members |
Kingstel:Yes and we pray against such action in 2019 |
princeSammyz:If this scheme eventually resumes, investors will get their money back ONLY when others have donated. This is obviously so because it's not as if the MMM bank account (where the moneies are) was frozen. So, the big question is, which normal human being will further invest his/her money into the scheme again, without recovering the former investment? Again, which new human being will invest money into the scheme without seeing old members recover their money first? |
Bloggers and fake stories are like bread and butter. |
This is both laughable and painful |
sweetilicious:From what you posted, I will advice you to stick with your current job. 80K as salary means that you will probably be working as a contract staff, and banking job is a hell for this category of employees. Nonetheless, let it be known that banking job has no job security. For me, your current job has more to offer you than the banking job. Forget all the money and neatly starched shirts you see with tellers when you go to the banks, they are very POOR. You can hardly find a comfortable teller except he/she is into shady deals. |
VolTOxic:s Some ladies actually think playing hard to get, makes them appear classy or responsible. But the truth is, it's very annoying and it shows a great deal of immaturity. |
Eastactivist:And how did you know it's not true? |
dotman4real007:The man is either uneducated or hot-tempered. Education is a behaviour modifier. Because he handled the situation wrongly, he is now wrong in being right and might pay heavily for it. That the wife cheated or not is not a case now and will never be addressed. |
LegendaryArnold:Yes he has a bad leg but what you saw is a bomb detector, not walking stick |
What is the essence of the assessment? Is it to pay for the damages? Or to restore the lives, or to stop the killings? Or to confirm that they have killed enough, or simply to appear concerned? This visit is more like mockery and it's even more painful than the killings because it was avoidable . |
How come they have enough money to organize this kind of burial for him but couldn't take good care of him when he was alive? |
MisterDreamz:Chai!! Nairaland. |
Oftentimes people have misconstrued illiteracy as the opposite of being educated. According to this school of thought, everybody who is literate is automatically educated. A more ridiculous postulation is that "only those who have graduated from tertiary institutions are regarded as literate and educated"----these assumptions are not correct. Little wonder our students would rather be involved in any act of malpractice to get a degree (perhaps a good one) than subject themselves to the rigorous process that would get them properly educated. The result of the foregoing is that we now have multitude of uneducated and truly unemployable graduates in our society. Painfully, these graduates don't even know how uneducated they are---perhaps because they are in possession of a certificate they can hardly defend. Take that certificate away from some graduates, and you would be shocked to realize how empty, unaware (uneducated) they are about nearly everything including their basic rights as citizens. Education is manifested in the way you conduct yourself, the manner you respond to situations, the way you talk, etc. So, Can a person be literate but uneducated? The answer is an emphatic YES because literacy mainly has to do with the legibility of your writings and eloquence in speech, which doesn't automatically translate to being educated. For example, most six-year-olds can read and write---yet still relatively uneducated. It may be safe to assume that every educated person is supposedly literate but the opposite is not always true, because surprisingly some illiterates are far more informed. Yes! "educated illiterates" and they are better and more useful than uneducated graduates. In trying to understand how a graduate can still be uneducated, a visit to any of our classrooms will reveal that we have two categories of students; (1). Those who are merely listening but not learning (listening and learning are two different things please). (2). Those we are learning (listening with an unquenchable quest and a voracious heart for more knowledge). The first category of students usually don't have any question (s) to ask, yet they don't understand. This attitude stays with them and keeps them perpetually ignorant. I once heard the head of a sports ministry say and I quote "athletes don't necessarily need to train before they can win medals". This is nothing but a perfect example of lack of education. It's bad enough to have uneducated graduates but what is even most disheartening, is having graduates who can neither write, speak well nor read and understand properly. And yes! we have these people even in leadership positions. Education is about the overall development of a person making him/her a complete human being who not only read or write but also has the ability to; (1) Understand that education is an unending exercise. (2). Think functionally and reason logically in broader terms and analyse the things rationally. (3). Conduct his/herself wisely. (4). Understand and distinguish between right and wrong. (5) Know his/her rights and what to do when such rights are violated. Source: Histemple |
This will be a great shock to so many people if it's true. |
Lalasticlala please help move this to FP. It would be extremely helpful. |
Really? Sarcasm at its peak. |

Former Delta state governor, Chief James Ibori and Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Monday Igbuya, shortly after the former governor's release from prison on Wednesday. Former Delta state governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has cautioned supporters of his predecessor and cousin, Chief James Ibori not to create more problems for Ibori through unbridled celebrations of his recent release from London prison. The London residence of Ibori has become a Mecca of sort for the state’s politicians since his release from prison where he served 13 years for money laundering and other corruption related crimes, last week. Uduaghan, who spoke with our reporter on telephone, expressed concern that the Ibori’s well-wishers actions could expose him (Ibori) to more political problems. Among politicians who have visited Ibori are Speaker of the state house of assembly, Chief Monday Igbuya, PDP stalwart, Chief Ighoyota Amori among others like Senator Peter Nwaoboshi who sensationally declared that Ibori facilitated the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki and Rt Hon Taking Dogara as Senate President and Speaker House of Representatives respectively. Nwaoboshi, in a video widely circulated on social media, said Ibori made governors, ostensibly incumbent Ifeanyi Okowa, senators ( himself as one), made his daughter, Eriatake Ibori a state lawmaker among others. Uduaghan however lamented that such statements and showoffs by Ibori’s supporters, could turn to haunt him. He said that such utterances and boisterous cerebration were capable of creating more problems for the ex-convict former governor. “For those going London to see Chief James Ibori and posting pictures and making statements, please stop it. “We appreciate your love for him. But you can go quietly without the unnecessary publicity. “You are creating problems for him than you can ever imagine. “Nigeria is a complex country and you must understand and respect people’s sensibilities,” Uduaghan added in a statement posted on his Facebook. http://thenationonlineng.net/stop-celebrating-iboris-release-uduaghan/ |
prettyboi1989:What is bad is bad, forget about being sister or sister-in-law. This gift definitely has an ugly message. If Ifeanyi wanted to give a clean gift, he would have given it to "the couple". Like the reporter said, this seem like "a reward for loyalty". |
Wether they are both locked in immorality or not is what I can't say for sure. But the gift is indeed, very suspicious and inappropriate. Why not give the car as a gift to "the couple" and not the woman alone? |
