What advantage has the presence of oil given Nigeria? Ghana don't have oil but they have 24 hours electricity and enjoy 100x better life than Nigerians.

Kenya, Rwanda etc don't have oil but they have better infrastructure than Nigeria.


Oil is not the only source of income. A country can easily provide infrastructure without external earnings by simply taxing citizens, just like USA and every developed country does.

Tax is main source of income not oil or one funny thing. Nigeria will never look inwards because they're lazy and intellectually bankrupt to see this and implement it.
