Aren't you aware that that kinda tackle on Eduardo can happen to another person and he dust up himself and finish the game. For the fact that Steinson played footie the next week does not make the tackle from Diaby normal. Both tackles are dangerous and should be condenmed in totality. Giving excuse for one cuz its from your team is not good for the game of fussbal.

While I'm all for diving if it helps my team win, I don't think Platini has done anything wrong, or stupid.
What Platini has done wrong here is: singling out Eduardo for a ban.
Goodness me, when was that law that will ban Ed enacted?
Why start with Ed?
Why not let us look into all the videos of the past matches since the law was enacted and ban any player that dived?
I doubt if we will have up to 50% of players left?
There is also a law that says that referee's decision is final on the field of play.
With this precedence set now, every match, every move, every step will be under intense scrutiny
and after every match is played, it will be closely analysed and irrespective of the decision made by the ref at the centre,
bloggers, tabloids, Skysports crew grin and everyone will pass their judgement
and damn,UEFA with Platini as HEAD will have to LISTEN , . . . . , .
all because Wenger and Platini don't see eye to eye grin grin

16.58 - Arsenal signing!! 19 year old French midfielder Jean Claude I'nfirme joins from 3rd division side AC Inutile. He won't be able to play until after Christmas though as he is currently wearing one of those big neck collars after falling off his BMX bike on the way to training. Arsene Wenger says we're bringing a player of great potential who can seriously challenge Diaby and Rosicky.

United were not lucky, Arsenal weren't just good enough.
You say you were unlucky, but really you just weren't good enough.
Luck doesn't exist, and in football you make your own.

You put it down luck, i put it down to a lack of talent.
Almunia is not a great keeper and it was a terrible decision from him to go for the ball.
A better player than Diaby would have dealt with the cross better.
Simply, a lack of talent let you down, Razputin, you weren't good enough.

I don't see how you were unlucky up the other end. You maybe could have had a penalty but it's irrelevant as you scored anyway - again from a keeper who wasn't good enough to keep it out (no cries to the luck gods from me). I don't see how anything else was unlucky.
It's not unlucky to be offside, it's just a poorly timed run or failing to adjust for the offside trap.
Again, a lack of talent which better players can overcome.

Not good enough, therefore not the better team.
Ever since i started watching football. . . . .United have always been branded as the lucky side. When will their luck run out?
It's arrant nonsense. United make their luck. They have the never-say-attitude. They don't give up until the final whistle and when they managed to get the odd goal(equaliser or winner) in the last minute. The media goes. . . . . .United are lucky bastards.[/quote]Lack of talent, my left elbow!
Go and watch the match again.
Rooney looked like an idiot for large parts of the game.
Why would Manure play one striker upfront at O.Thuh huh
Nani and Valencia were totally useless.
Giggshuh huh
Foster, by stopping that Van Persie goal when Arshavin took apart your defence, won you that match.
Who knows, if that had gone in, it would have been end of game!
Even Diaby, in a rush of blood, dribbled his way thru your defence and couldn't direct his shot!
Really, If I were SAF, I would be worried about my team.
You guys can't play Chelski or even spurs like u played us.
Dean won't always be there to give you guys a dubious penalty
and Diaby won't always be there to score an won goal!

I remember Nic scored the only goal in the match
A Dynamo player was tackled by a Gunner and  was writhing in pain around the centre circle

Eboue won't dwell on departed friends

Emmanuel Eboue is not letting himself dwell on the departure of his two friends, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor.

The African duo left for Manchester City in the summer leaving the Ivory Coast international at Emirates Stadium. But the midfielder has accepted their transfer, improved his personal form and moved on.

"With football you can’t play in the same team all your life," said Eboue. "For me, I am very disappointed because they are my friends and they’re gone but that’s football.

The 26-year-old is now hoping Arsenal can push on with the wealth of talent the squad still boasts.

"We have Eduardo, Andrey Arshavin, Robin van Persie, Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott, so I think we will try our best to do well with these players.

"Thomas Vermaelen is a very, very good defender
.Both squared up in the pic below, a few sesaons ago grin He is very, very strong and I think him and William Gallas have a good partnership."
