I finally arrived this dry town..... studies here is no beans ooo... why you prepare for visa also think about how your future in Nigeria after studies.... Dont be decieved by friends.. it not as it appears on holidays and television. Its study study study.. except you want to fail and waste your millions....

Latest start date is third week of October,however that will be stretching it since I want to have my boots on the ground by next week
It doesn't make sense to me registering late seeing so many things await apart from lectures

:DI tested the hypothesis ooo.. I did comparison, wen i made my first application it was processed application.. Nuffin like passport and nuffin like Visa Operation center. It was refused 4 days before i got d text to collect processed application. But today i saw processed passport. In transit to Visa operation center. If it was nt issues i dnt fink dey have any biz wit visa center. So base on dis i think terms used by dis pple matter. South wales loading. Bt wit faith..lol... Its all well... New week of good news...

JideVince: there is an observation by a member of this forum that "processed application" results in refusal while "processed passport" results in visa being granted. nobody can confirm the veracity of this, though. however, while reading through old posts on this thread, i discovered someone got the visa even when the message read "processed application", i guess that settles it.

Just tracked my application, say processed passport. In transit to UK Visa Operation center. I think dis interpretes Victory and successs oooooo. @ Last..... Delay is neva denial 4 dos who believe in the Most High Jesus.

I was refused Visa visa and d University did not want to issue me another CAS, they wanted me to go thru him. Cos its stated in thier skool website.

So that means we wld get news b4 friday. Dis now back 2 d normal 15 days waiting time. My dad called sum1 dis evening in abuja and he said i shld go to Lagos and collect my stuff. I am confident our stories will be testimonies of victory and success. Secondly, dis representatives of University of South wales has refused to forward my CAS to me. He only printed it for me. abnot: I was at VFS in abuja this evening when the UPS bus came. It was loaded with three bags one was tagged abuja, the other was tagged ikeja and the last lekki. Was told the othe two bags will be taken to lagos tomorrow and will be ready for delivery on thursday. So most likely, your status will change on thursday

I jst got a call from abuja. UK embassy, said i should come to the embassy tomorrow in lagos to collect my Visa. I asked her if it was stamped she said Yes. I actually cried to God and told my uncle who is with Foreign affairs. She collected my details yesterday. I want you guys to pray for me. Shld i still wait because my status is still the same. And i padi 4 courier.

Don Oms: In my opinion, no one can categorically answer that question except God. Here's the reason: having applied on the 09th, there's a 90% chance u should get ur visa before 27th (from recent trends) if your application doesn't suffer any verification delays. So let's assume the ECO was to stamp it tomorrow, 24th, you'll most likely be given visa as they believe you'll make it to the UK before 30th. Let us assume you had verification delays and a decision was to be made on Friday, 27th, they MAY want to deny you since it's 95% unlikely you get the package before 30th ('cos of weekend). God forbid they're to make a decision after the 30th, it's automatic refusal.
Having said all, if you believe in God, then pray a miracle happens this week. Above all, don't worry about it & be cheerful. All the best!
PS: I'm hopeful your package should be ready by tomorrow though. Keep tracking it at intervals.

I applied same 09 Sept too. But my latest resumption date is 7th October. Fingers crossed. I believe they will check d CAS and find d dates. Registration began today in My skool. South wales. Anybody going to South wales or already there. Please whats d cost for single room in Cardiff share 2 bed room flat or 4.

Thanks for your concern. Am not applying 4 anytin yet. All i was trying to say is dat, my course begins on Monday, i have little time to prepare. I am currently trying to make contacts. Am really nt anxious. Am just praying and believing in God for goodnews. I was refused b4. I speak daily with my mentor in d university. She has been helpful to me in respect to accomodation and oda aspects. Thanks for you advice my brother. D feeling of been refused a visa is wats disturbing me nw. Am like scared bt hanging on with faith. No blame me. I have everytin in place already. I do not have access to a laptop or Internet. All am using is my Blackberry curve 2. Am struggling with my fone. Thanks. And pray 4 me.

Your posts show anxiety and ill preparedness
Why not research likely hotels you could lodge, friends you could bunk with temporarily, airline[s] you could likely follow and even available accommodation you could rent when your boots are on ground?
At least you have access to the Internet which can aid all this?
Or do you want to see your visa first and get to Wales before planning how to go about all this things?
You seem to have faith but top it up with common-sense and a plan

Am believing God that i get my Visa next week. I will book any available flight straight to Cardiff my brother. I did not even buy any Africa food stuff. I dont even have accomodation yet. Might stay wit a friend or stay in Hotel. Till i settle mysef. My dear in d name of Jesus b4 friday i should be in Cardiff. University of Southwales.
Applied in Lagos, because i had no where to stay in abuja and was financially down. Dis my second application. I am trusting in God for goodnews. First one took 11 days. I knw dis will take same time.

waiting is something i can not explain. i applied ame date on the 9th of september.. my enrollment date starts 23rd. on monday. my close friend travelled 2 days back...and i did not even let them know i am waiting for my visa.. just praying and believing God grants my heart desire ooo.... cant wait to go start preparation.. No ticket yet but will go with Emirates or KLM..... University of South Wales.... God please make dey give us Visa abeg... we our money 4 oyibo hand....

9 days down.. still waiting. God Lord give me goodnews ooo.... I recieved an email from my school to do online enrol when i never collect my package... should i do the online part or just ignore till i get to south wales... Please anybody already in South wales.. how is the freshers week going... and whats the latest news there..............

I applied on the 9th of September. after been refused visa. Now am seeing the conversion rates... i just hope and believe am on the safe side. My Maintenance fee was more than 7200 pounds. About 2.5million saved in my father's account. i just hope this covers the maintenance fee they request me to show. my calculation shows 9600 pounds when i converted it. i just hope i get good news... I need to give my own testimony too.... prayer............

Pounds just increased oooo.... and i already submitted last week Monday.. just bank statements showing my living maintenance fee. 7200GBP......And the closing balance was 2.5million and the amount has been there for 6 months not going below this amount.. will the increase in the pounds affect the bank statement....

I felt sad today seeing the faces of most of d guys working @ ikeja VFS office. They knw me very well. And asking y i was refused before. Lord please change my story this time. Am believing it will all work 4 Good. I paid for courier and sms because i dont live in Lagos. Have been around lagos wit just 1 jeans and 3 shirts. Managed to put my new application fee 2geda. Cant imagine it ooo my broda pple in my area. Had to stay wen i noticed i was refused just to corect everytin. God is in Charge.

Hey guys sorry to bother you guys. I know most of you already have your visa now. I did make my application 2day. Usually VFS office normally sends sms notification of dispatchment to abuja but i have not recieved any yet. Is dis normal. I jst checked my email and saw a mail from them. Please i have dis feelings my application will be smooth but just want to know how long it takes to get and sms @ least to track my application and also how long will it take. 4 courier to deliver ones parcel in Lagos. Jst curious and worried kind of. Please guys pray 4 me.. Wanna drop my goodnews too.

I paid 4 courier service 2day. Just want to know how long it will take for courier service to deliver my package within Lagos.

I submitted today... Documents i submitted include the following;
Bank statement of my dad, closing balance of 2.5million( i paid my full fee and also used my new cas that showed the update.) just showed this amount for maintenance
my degree results, my Neco result, my application forms, passport, sponsorship letter signed by my parents, birth certificate, e.t.c

Please during the interview the signal was very bad and the lady kept on asking me to repeat please. can u hear me. and the video went off. but we managed to conclude the interview. they asked me what have been doing since after graduating. i told them i was doing internship with a servicing company.
please guys pray for me. really need this stuff cleared. the visa application fee increased to #80,460. I have spent virtually all my savings in making this application pending till my parents return. Oga Justwise thank you very much for your support all through. and May God continue to bless u guys..

Please how do i get a good and affordable uni or college. I also want to know if i can be sponsored by a Nigerian company. Cos UK recognises only Shell nd chevron. Documents i have: MY Degree Result, CAS statement, Bank Statement, Sponsorship letter(letter of consent) from my dad, my Neco Result, My Birth Certificate, My Passport, My parents data [age of their passport. I am hoping i get good news on time.... Making my application in Ikeja... I am really broke....would have love to go to Abuja. Please pray for me...
