I don't know where you stay but Obio cottage at Rumuobiakani Trans Amadi is ur best bet.I use them for ante natal classes and private hospital for delivery.they take their time to teach and even play various childbirth videos;vd with epi,without epi and cs with their projector.
the day they showed the vd with epi with all the various degrees of tesrs,all the first time mothers kept shouting ,some ran away sef.
lecture starts by 8 every day except Mon and Tuesdays which are for booking first timers.try them you'll enjoy them
Reg is 20k for both antenatal and delivery and #2500 for uss

Dosunmu. In my sojourn last week, I discovered somewhere in the market where they sell US baby things in wholesale price. Their prices are sometimes #500 below what is obtainable in other wholesale shops. The good thing about this place is that the guy is truthful and if you don't find what you are looking for in their shop, you can buy from other shops around there.
I first went to their shop but didn't buy anything from them because they've packed their goods already, I bought from one Alhaja around there. Let me know if you are interested so I'll give you their number and address.

I'm 13 weeks gone. The end of my first trimester. Kai, I can't wait to feel normal. Its not been easy, vomiting, weakness, fever, less food n fluid, oh I didn't mention the stupid smell. I dare not eat without brushing else everything will come while brushing my tongue.

I hope its really true everything ends this 13th week cus I heard and read in some articles that most 1st pregnancy nausea stops at 18th weeks. I know mine is exceptional. I can't bear these illnesses one more week.

Good morning house. Pls I need an advice on a choice of drugs. I went for my first antenatal class and I was given paracetamol, folic acid and fesolate(the red one for blood) I've been thinking these few might not just give my 13weeks baby enough nutrients and growth he/she needs. Im thinking of abandoning those ones to go for pregnacare, omega 3,6,9. Please which one is best for the rapid growth/nutients? Although I have been having difficulties eating or drinking liquid because I end up throwing up. Pls help..

Pele dear. The lord is your strength. I also went through the same phase. I went from 65.5kg to 57kg in 2weeks..i couldnt stand the smell of food. I could not even cook for hubby. To stand and wash plate na war sef. I see rainbows and stars when ever i stand for too long and thats because i couldnt eat without vomiting. I was admitted for some days at the hospital cuz everyone around me was scared.. Lol.
My MIL is a nurse.. She advised i stay away from fried foods & foods with excessive spices..then take hot lipton tea with no cream when eating. It made me less irritated. Ginger tea too.(not the raw ginger o)
Then i also developed a strategy. I divide my food into two parts. After eating part 1, i'l go and throw up. Then i'l rest for 5-10mins and eat part 2(i hope this works for you tho)
Then ensure you take your meds. It is very important. I usually wrap each tab in eba, semo, amala..etc cuz i culdnt take water or any other liquid.

I am currently in my 15th week and i dont feel pregnant at all..so ma worry. You will be fine.

Register for antenatal 12th week?

4 weeks gone and it isn't funny with the experience. Can barely eat 3 square meals without throwing up. Weakness, fatigue, night fever, very sentisitive to smell I'm even lazier. I thought mine would be better, I've always dreamt of this moment but it came the other way. I'm becoming thinner everyday because I can hardly take liquid substance. I started with solid foods like eating crackers with other food with fiber but they aren't helping matters. When I decide to stay without eating the whole day, I'll become weaker. Pls help.. Its causing me so much.. I just hope these symptoms are for this early stage. I havnt started antenatal yet because I feel its still early for it.

hello dear congratulations well after the 21days notice you will be given a slip then when you complete your wedding you will go back to the registry and give them a copy of your marriage certificate its usually 3copies church will hold one, you will hold the other then the 3 one goes to the registry to keep a record of your marriage. the court marriage is not necessary because your marriage certificate has the federal republic of Nigeria logo as for marriage course you can do it in two weeks so no biggy it depends on the priest

OP I got married in an Anglican church but before then I was asked to go to registry and give them 21 days notice then I was given 3months to complete my wedding so my wedding certificate is from the federal republic of Nigeria also after my white wedding I was given one of the marriage certificates to take to the registry, if yours didn't go through this process then you need registry.

Good morning blade and happy new year. I was just reading these posts and thought to ask my own questions. Am an Anglican and am not married yet but soon to be on April this year, I was given the requirement list for marrying in the church(money for bands, choir, endowment fund, officiating ministers and so on), was given an affidavit form to go to the court and sign up for that. My question is, after signing the affidavit form and registering will there be any need doing court marriage before the wedding? Or what is the necessity for giving 21 days notice? Tho my pastor gave us dates to be coming to church for announcements, he never mentioned marriage classes. Please I just need a full breakdown of things that should be done before and after the marriage.
